Amazing insight, amazing video. Do a video on how you organize parts while working in a high production shop!

I learned along time ago the tool box don't make you any money, all you need is a cart and that's all you need.

Organization and accessibility IS key. I have most tools i use most on the lower shelf on my rolling seat. I know where everything is and goes and I dont lose tools and can move quickly.

That box is a good concept, hopefully your dealer was fair to you; and yes, you are quite right: all the trades are under the gun now.
    Greed has destroyed America.
To many people wanted that easy money and refused to be productive; they have managed to wreck it completely.

Thanks for the awesome video. I got started in this industry in 2020, building my tool box and collection of tools... I made a tool box tour of my own on my channel. Keep the videos coming!

I do upholstery work and a lot of the same concepts apply - gotta stay organized or it’s no fun!

Thanks for the video. I use Gorilla clear tap to protect the paint where I am using magnets... I also flip the 10, 13, 19 sockets over so I don't need to read the numbers. I also use paint markers...bright green or yellow...on the socket numbers but your numbers show better. The Harbor Freight 18 inch magnet tool holders and the "ABN Universal Magnetic Hand Tool Holder"s work great for the tools in the drawer that you are planning to cut foam. I use the ABN ones for combination wrenches but your grid system looks nice. All my SAE go in a lower drawer. I use the big drawer at the bottom for the blown molded cases. Good luck.

Most kitchens try to have everything within 10 ft. of the cooking station. Same should apply to having your tools where you are working.

You can work as hard and efficient as you want but so much is dependent on your estimator and insurance assessor.
I am 50 and cannot wait to get out of this garbage industry.
    Insurance company's have killed it.
