- When you have the desire to work on the best cars your company makes, then you have to find a drive similar to Justin’s. His path has taken him to a place that few reach. Not many people can say that they are the go-to Corvette guy in the area. Justin told me some customers will refuse service if he’s not available, and wait until he is. It tells me alot. His energy brings something new to the table, and I hope he continues on the fantastic path he’s on. Justin, thank you for the tour! If you enjoyed the tour Justin took us on, give him a Like on this video!

That dude definitely takes pride in what he does.
A lot of pride forsure
Loved this interview with Justin. He's THE go-to-guy for any Corvette owner. He's very intelligent and loves his job! The owners of those Corvettes he oversees are very lucky to have him as their mechanic.
He loves his job forsure! It’s always nice to see someone in their field and are so passionate about it!
Pretty impressive young man.
Very mature for his age.
I thought the same thing
Love seeing young guys take pride in their work and tools.
This technician did a really good job at comparing the strengths of SnapOn vs Milwaukee…he didn’t throw shade at either company 👍
Yeah I agree
I envy the cleanliness, I'm working in a diesel truck fleet and that means nothing is ever clean.
I do diesel too. I try so hard to keep my stuff clean, but it is a losing battle. I love the look of the white boxes, but that box would get trashed!
Same here, so dirty and the amount of crap on everything from grease and oil
Yeah it seems like it’s tough to keep things clean while working diesel.
Sleek and effective setup, I like the way he clearly uses everything but cleans everything so well. Enjoy the new box Justin.
Yeah he keeps things super clean that’s forsure
Another great toolbox tour! I look forward to seeing this channel grow. I love that you appear to be excited and shocked about everything. Like him talking about how GM switched to tube style silicone and you're like "oh wow! No way!".
I loled at this comment 😂 It doesn’t take much to excite me haha
Aside from the tools, loved him sharing his knowledge.
this guy is awesome and it looks like he takes a lot of pride in his work.
Yeah definitely a lot of pride 👍
Man thats a clean and fancy setup but given what he works on I wouldn't expect anything less, really cool tour Justin is super down to Earth while also being really well versed in his craft. Keep up the great work man
this guy is so awesome!!!! he takes so much pride and has a lot of passion!!! love to see it!!! i love hearing techs explaining every tool use case
Smart guy seeing the demand with these new mid engine Corvettes. The buyers of these cars are nothing like a buyer for a pickup or daily beater. He’s setting himself up for a serious career working on exotic cars. This guy will be tearing apart a Ferrari in no time at all.
uh corvettes aren't exotic, and to work at Ferrari its minimum 2 years on higher end Europeans.
@@Ectasied Have you seen a C8 torn apart? It’s nothing like old Corvettes. In some ways it’s more complicated than European cars.
@@markm0000 i have seen the repairs yes, have to ever worked on a gt3?
@@Ectasied No I haven’t seen a GT3 getting worked on but I’m sure it’s like a spaceship with entire components that get replaced after so many miles knowing Germans… the situation in America is that Chevrolets were always very basic cars and trucks for normal people that any mechanic with basic tools can work on. That was true up until the C8 and this car is so different and complicated nobody that buys one wants a novice mechanic working on it and most mechanics don’t even want to work on it. Most dealerships aren’t even properly setup to work on these cars, they’re still struggling to work on EVs that Chevy sold a decade ago. The overlap between Chevy dealers and competent mechanics that can work on a C8 is very slim. Most guys at this level usually go work at European dealers or racing shops to get paid better. This video wouldn’t have gotten thousands of views if that wasn’t the case. American car brand dealerships are a terrible place for mechanics, they don’t get paid enough $$ for basic jobs on normal cars. Asking them to start working on a super car at the same $$ is not going to happen. This kid is either too smart for his own good or friends with the owner.
He should be working on them now lol....
Not sure if I trust a tech with a clean white toolbox or not 😂
Joking of course. Great setup.
Haha he keeps his area so clean. I love it!
You really inspired me to make my own diy tool box tour, thanks for giving me a nudge to whip out the phone and just toss up my pride and joy. Cheers
Hey! I’m glad you are able to share it!
I really like how he doesn’t discriminate against any tool company. He buys from them all just like I do. I also have an Arca series but it’s the 57”
2:49 Only $216 ???? What a bargain ! Excellent setup and collection. I can really appreciate the cleanliness and organization. I keep all of my tools very clean and organized as well. Thank you for sharing
Im not sure how you find these guys but damn.... straight up FIRE!!!! these guys you find are Sharp!!! Keep up the great videos.....
Great tour 💯 this is my fav so far 🍻
Glad you liked it!
Enjoyed learning about Justin's unique tweaks to his tools and toolbox (LED cap lights, corvette top clip removal tool, magnets, phone charger, etc.). Also nice to see that he is more concerned with each tool's functionality rather than the brand. Another great tour. Thanks Dustin.
Thanks for watching!!
Justin was so cool and the setup was good and loved all the tools
Well organized bay. The tool that comes to mind instead of grinding your own for the convertible release is called a "long reach" by access tools. Built for popping latches on lockouts.
Good to know!
I give him credit when I was a tech at GM dealing with some of the corvette owners was like working at a daycare with a new mom dropping off her first born for the first day.
What’s the most you’ve seen someone owe on a tool truck charge account? I worked with a guy that owed $18k on his truck account just tools not from a box. Meanwhile myself and a few others would pay cash and negotiate group buy prices from the tool dealers
so good! I love how clean he keeps his stuff everything will last forever
That's an awesome and clean setup. Almost like a surgical area, rather than a maintenance shop.
This guy is a professional through and through.
Yeah forsure!
Hats off for being a Corvette tech, much more patience and understanding then I have. Nice box and selection too!
Thanks Chris!
I really appreciate how clean and organized his tools and boxes are. Some trucks cost as much as a Corvette these days and all that expensive leather needs to stay clean and not scratched just like the paint. The top hutch of the Craftsman box would make a great charging station for his cordless tools. I would definitely have those battery chargers up there and not tangled up in a drawer.
Because I’m new to your channel, I get to go through your back catalogue, which means there’s always one to watch at the moment. I love that young mans enthusiasm and pride in his tools and toolboxes. Interestingly I’ve heard ‘ladies feet’ referred to in a number of your videos, which we call ‘heel bars’ here in the UK.
Having recently retired from a chief engineer position, one of the highlights of employing a new engineer was always looking at his tool kit…………….perhaps I’m not as strange as everyone used to think I was!!
I love tools and even at 63 am still buying…………please keep them coming!!
Thanks for watching Paul!
I have always looked at a man's tools and work area this young man not only takes pride in what he does you can tell he has worked hard for his tools I would be willing to bet if he ever has a come back it's a part failure 👍😎👍
Yeah he takes pride in what he does forsure
One of the best videos! Great set up and this guy is a true pro!
Thanks Gary! I’m glad you liked this one
Good job! Keep em coming!!
Thanks!
Your reactions during the interview is so funny. “Omgggg a little flashlight omggggg slap my knee and call me a knee slapped, owwwww sooo cool” 😂
Such an impressive set up. And another great video. Keep it up 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Ryan!
Love these damn videos!!!
Thank you so much!!
Another great video
Thanks David!
Great video, I should have seen it sooner. Great tech for sure, and nice setup!
Yeah he has some great ambition. Looking forward to the visit!
Thanks!
Holy cow!! Thank you so much!!!
Please do someone with a series 3 box with top quality tools in it.
Wow this is a lot. I’m going to have to watch this a few times.
Dude has pride in his tools, job, and appearance. Awesome to see.
Guy literally knows where every single tool in the whole shop is lol
Great dude, very articulate. One question I wish you would ask all the mechanics that you interview is, “how much in debt are you, with all your tools”? I think a lot of us would like to know. Great interview as always, keep them coming!
Just a random appreciation post for pouncing KUHnipex correctly!
i have one of the bluepoint service trays and they are sick, especially good for brakes and light maintenance stuff
They look super handy!
Another evening with tool box ASMR.
Btw for following up on details always set up the speed to 0.9 😅✌🏼
Appreciate the pricing notes thanks!
You bet!
Where are you located? I would love to show you my set up and would fall right in line or even cooler than your other tours possibly.
I’d love to see it! You can contact me on instagram @toolboxtours or just send me an email at toolboxtour@gmail.com
He off the adddyyyyyys Ik them licks ahah
Im wondering what did he use for that power tool drawer( power tool rack) on the Arca.
Hey I’ve come across engines with low compassion, it ain’t good ! Lol
😂
i wonder if you can ask them what type of tool stypend some of these techs get or discounts or percentage
You can get those magnetic panels at Lowe’s now, craftsman brand.
Good to know!
What brand was those lights?
I usually don't wear earbuds at work because I feel kinda rude, but like he said it drives me crazy having to stop what I'm doing and take off my gloves to check my phone then it's usually not important
Yeah I can see how they could be a safety issue on top of it. But with the transparency mode they have on the AirPods, it can actually protect the techs hearing.
@@ToolBoxTour I've always thought about the safety aspect too
Long time ago I worked in a tire shop and we lifted a corvette and didn’t know what we were doing and the body flexed and the windows shattered.
😱
How far do you travel for tours?
I’m located in Utah. I don’t travel out of state often but if your setup is nice enough, I do. 👍
👍👍‼️ how old is Justin? just curious
Not sure to be honest. I believe early to mid 20s
All imma say is if your tools ain’t dirty you ain’t using em
$247 for thar baby 1/4 inch rachet? Now that's bs. Granted, my quarter inch zero turn from snapon was $160 but that in the right application, in vetter than any ratchet. $247 for that lil thing though? I got a grinder and a harbor freight.
I would recommend those slzero turns though. Those things are life savers when ratchets and wrenches don't work. For real
Dude should showed his personal drawer just started is lotion important lol
When your washing your hands constantly, they get dried out quick
Go to a Nissan dealership!!!!!
It’s on the list!
That Snap-On dial indicator setup is a rip off, you can buy a Mitutoyo setup for half the price
Good to know!
$216 for that little biddy stubby 1/4 ratchet 😂😂 you gotta be joking
Is this what this guy does is goes around to garages to snoop in tool boxes?
You make it sound like a bad thing 😂
Take a shot for everytime this kid licks his lips...
This one is probably my favorite tour so far. He seems really really proud of his tools, boxes and work. I’ve been looking at getting a locket like him for my chemicals, sprays etc @toolboxtours
A locker is awesome for stuff like that 👍
Label more of the tool please and thank you. Keep it up man love watching.
I’m glad you enjoy them!
