- We finally make it to the U.S. to begin our next chapter together. We were quite overwhelmed by everything that still lay ahead. We found what we need to keep pushing forward, making our first step towards our goal of sailing our boat from my birthplace to our home, here in Japan.
This series of episodes will take you along with us, as we meet each other's families, and find the boat that we will sail back to our home in Japan. Hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them!

I’ve seen some of your recent clips on Instagram of you sailing around Naruto and I’m looking forward to seeing more sailing in Japan. I’m hoping to pick up a small cabin cruiser sometime in the near future and do a bit of coastal cruising.
Hey Hiroki, we appreciate the feedback. The graphics are all Julia. We enjoy finding fun ways to include them :) We are planning to post videos in Japan as well! Just trying to get this first series of episodes out first, about our time getting the boat in the US. That's why I have just been posting on instagram for now (more real time).
We'd love to meet up and cruise with you in Japan sometime. Are you in Tokushima? There is a yacht club there that we are a part of called Awa Cruising Club. Check it out if you are interested.

I’ll definitely look into Awa Cruising Club. It’s good to know that there’s a cruising community even in Tokushima. I’ve raced dinghies for most of my life before moving to Tokushima, but I have no idea where to start when it comes to big boat sailing in Japan. I’m not planning on sailing the world anytime soon, but I would love to be able to do some sailing around Japan with my family when I have time off. I’m not sure how thrilled my wife and kids are about the idea though.
