final fantasy X-2!! lots of people hate it and with the fact you miss out on 80% of the story if you don’t 100% it makes sense why. there’s so many scenes missable that are integral to the plot and gave me a whole new appreciation of the game
@@gameranxTV what about tomb raider games ? they are the best games to suit the concept of this video , there are tons of side missions , caves and places to discover , animals and plants species , collectibles and much other stuff to do and get . also i am not pretty sure but horizon zero dawn deserves a mention since there are a lot of wildlife animals and plants , potions , skills , machines , places to discover , and if u just follow the main quest without completing the game 100 per cent it will feel like if u have done nothing in the game
I've been platinum-ing a few games lately, I can't agree more with Ghost of Tsushima. That game seamlessly transition from story missions to collectibles that it makes you forget everything you were doing. After finishing one shrine, you're led to the next Fox Den, then before you know it, you're in a Mongol Base, etc. It's a wonderful and fun experience all the way.
Those question marks are a lot to take in on the map though 😂 I sat there for a good few minutes quietly going "wtf" over and over again when I saw how many Skellige had
@@dave93x You don't need to clear all of the question marks to get 100%. In fact, it's totally useless to do most of the ones in Skellige. Skellige is pretty much useless as well.
Bloodborne doesn't really need you to do much different to get the different endings though, mainly just a dialogue choice at the end and whether or not you consumed the thirds of an umbilical cord

The first few games that came to my mind where Final Fantasy X. Completing the story is easy. Final story boss too. An obvious game missing in this list is The Witcher 3. Finding all hidden areas, treasures, Witcher gear, doing all side quests is so satisfying. Especially sine most of it ties into the main storyline and sometimes even is/feels bigger than the main story.
Symphony of the Night for sure, the only way to see the actual ending is to 100% it and the sense of satisfaction you get from slowly progressing in that game is amazing.
@DAVID Fast, but the way you unlock new abilities piece by piece and level up isn't necessarily a fast process. There's also the fact that many of the things you need to get the main ending require you to explore all of the map too.
First game i thought of when i saw this in my suggested was Hollow Knight, absolutely incredible game with way too much lore to simply stop playing after the main ending. So glad it’s on this list
Funny thing is, I didnt even bother completing the game until I had done everything else. Once I beat it, I tried my hand at the pantheon, but couldn't beat the hardest ones. Those are insanely difficult.
I bought p5r on release (was also entirely new to the series) I then put it down for a year as there were other things I wanted to play and there was a lot to learn. These past couple of months I picked it back up and played it entirely and got a platinum trophy in one play through. It was so very rewarding and fun to explore.
I'm dead curious about the series, but the basic premise of being high school students, the fact they supposedly have like 100 hour campaigns with lots of "point of no return" choices that can irreparably fuck your ending up, and being turn based combat have really put me off of actually buying any of them. Wish I could find a demo or pirate it just so I can see how I feel about buying a full game.
The deleting save file thing was terrifying in Automata. I played that first then and am still playing through Replicant. I remember not ever looking up Automata spoilers so I tried to do every single thing I could do before deleting my save file.
I really like doing 100% as long as the game has some form of hints to lead you to collectibles and stuff. I think those things should require some form of exploration but not to blindly search the whole map. I really liked how Prototype 2 showed a general location of the collectible or side mission and in that you had to either find it yourself or follow a signal when you got close to it.
Hell yeah, the game actually feels better on your second playthrough because you've pretty much mastered the combat system and it's fun to destroy all of the bosses who gave you a hard time before.
@@SaltSpirits idk. I felt huge satisfaction getting platinum for bloodborne but sekiro is on another level imo. I get the feeling I’ll get greater satisfaction now from sekiro but it’s a bit too hard for me. Gotta gg.

Bloodborne it’s the only game I’ve completed 100% and I must say I love how natural it feels to do so. Like no over complicated things or super hidden stuff. Just keep playing, exploring, finding things and you won’t even notice when you get to the 100%
@@reed1645 I haven't played Nier: Replicant yet, but I fell in love with Nier:Automata. it was a great game after I beat the game the first time, but when I found out I could play as Nines next, I was like, AWESOME! And then after beating the game with him (which is a totally different experience/playstyle, i find out THERE'S AN ENTIRE NOTHER HALF OF THE GAME LEFT, which you can complete and not to mention all the extra joke endings and secret boss afterwards. That second half of the game really took what I thought was just a great game and made it rip my heart to shreds and bandage it back together.
@gameranx nier nier automota and nier replicant were some of the most mind-blowing games I got to play when they first released here.. what an amazing journey that put me through so many emotions. One of the few that made me actually cry
Ah Metroid Prime. The first ever game I 100% and now has me burning away hours of life and energy to further that completion state of any game I play... One of the best achievements of my childhood and it still haunts me to this day lmao
"Yeah, we're using youtube as a verb today." lol Falcon is one of the most charming and least self servicing voiceover guys out there youtubing. Thanks for being so chill and not plastering your face all over everything, besides literally plastering that falcon cartoon on stuff.
The cartoon faces are so good. I'm glad they gave him a cartoonified avatar. Not to shit on his real face or anything, but cartoons just have that appeal that watching people doesn't have.
my favorite is later alligator. its a fun little mystery game with 2 fake endings and one real one if you complete the family tree and play all the minigames, which doesnt take too long, so its totally worth it
I've never played it but always looked quite depressing to me for some reason not in a good way either. Its on gamepass tho so I might give it a try sometime. Is the story good?
@@Pick18 the story is the best part. It's broken up into 3 parts or playthroughs. The first one is good but feels vague, the second one is alot of the same but the story kept me going, and the 3rd was mind blowing. The game goes from pretty good, to one of the best games I've ever played around the 30 hour mark. It also has an easy mode, with auto aim, shoot, and attack and dodge so even if it's getting stale, the game can play for you, and there are no achievements tied to difficulty. Theres nothing else like it in gaming.
With VR gaining more users with the quest 2, I am hoping you guys throw in a VR video here and there. A before you buy for sniper elite VR, something about resident evil 4 VR, the valhiem native VR mod. Anything man :)
You nailed it with Spyro 2, the only game I’ve actually 100%-ed on this list. I’d add Days Gone, which I at least tried to do, but I’m not as good with them hordes.
Sekiro was my first platinum. It wasn’t too hard honestly but the gameplay was good enough to make me want to unlock everything. Also each play through had something new for me to find so that also helped.
Can we get a dark theme count down please? Even during the day watching on the TV, it's so bright... I literally look away from the TV or phone every time the numbers come up 😂 😂
Personally Maneater is the most recent game that I beat 100%. It was incredibly fun, not too challenging, and had plenty of variety to make it interesting all the way through. Plus the game even warrants a second playthrough because of how good it is
@@6FStyleCo YES! THANK YOU! IM SO HAPPY SOMEONE ELSE REMEMBERS! I loved the Jaws game for PS2! I wasn't allowed to have it myself when I was a kid so my uncle owned it and he would let me play it anytime I went over to his house and it's just so many core memories
there Is a huge satisfaction from collecting all 108 stars from Suikoden games… Particularly suikoden 2 and 5 when there is an actual story effect to collecting all recruitable characters
I know it’s technically just a stand alone dlc, but infamous first light for me was 25% story 75% arena challenges world challenges etc and made it worth it
Hades is definitely worth playing 100%. You don't get much from itsince you get upgrades through the game for doing so but it's just so rewarding to do it.
Falcon is spot on with all these but let’s be honest the fox shrines in Ghost did start to get annoying, only towards the end though. The rest of the game is a masterpiece.
I'd unfortunately played too many of the Ubisoft "a thousand instances of the same 5 things" open world formula games, so by the time I was halfway through the story I was pretty much completely over all of those little activities like that.
I remembered they also did the no item thing in Final Fantasy XV in the deeper steyliff dungeon but it's definitely easier than Final fantasy VII Remake, with the Elemancy feature in ffxv I was still technically using items to restore health
Wow they actually put Yakuza 0 on this list. I’m actually currently trying to 100% it. I’m at 87% now and I can honestly say it is one of the hardest games I have tried to get platinum on. The main trophies aren’t too hard to get but completing the climax battles are insane. I’m so close yet so far with 5-6 battles left
Mass Effect, I found completing everything in that game carried all the way to ME 3. HALO3 ODST, completing everything gives you the full story of New Mombasa and an encounter. Borderlands 2 and its DLCs. The Witcher 3, it takes a long time but it is so worth it! Final Fantasy X-2, I saw this was mentioned by someone else and I couldn't agree more.
Yesssss. I've been waiting for months to hear You mention Any About The Kingdom Of Hollow Nest. Thanks For Mentioning Hollow Knight Am Going To Rest Now... Bwoy Am I Tired. Hailings From Jamaica BTW!!!!
In my opinion, the Witcher 3 is the game where you HAVE to complete. If you are going only for the main quest, you miss out the part where the game truly shines
RDR2's 100% is so sad but awesome. After hitting that point, John winds up at Arthur's grave remarking to Arthur that "we're just about down" while Crash of the Worlds is playing
A few games pop into my head when I think about 100%-ing them and not getting bored doing so narrows it down, but the bigger ones being AC: Black Flag- a few things were tedious, but all in all, I enjoyed doing everything in that game. The Spyro Collection- me and my best friend just 100%-ed the first two, mainly her, and I loved watching her play it the whole time. Far Cry 5- oh my God I loved doing everything in this one, even the silly stuff like collecting baseball cards, but only on the second playthrough, cause I could make the enemies and forts respawn so there was something to do while collecting all these little things. I want to 100% Primal but the amount of stuff in that game even after I've beaten it, is overwhelming to say the least.
Bloodborne plat is pretty ez and fun until you gotta go for Queen Yharnam. I'm never doing that Defiled Amygdala fight ever again. At least you can skip it now with false depth chalices.
Any Telltale Games or Supermassive Games hands down 100% for full experience.. As well as breakthrough gaming games and ratalaika games, they're cheaper but platinuming a lot of then is fun and many have great stories!
Jak and daxter has always forced me to 100% it. There's been a couple times where I wanted to just beat the game, but end up collecting all the power cells and precursor orbs. It's always so satisfying to see that last cutscene when you collect everything.
My proudest gaming accomplishment was getting Platinum trophies in all of Yakuza games in under 3 months. I knew the game for years but didn't think about trying it until the locked down. Now its my top favorite
Thank you for mentioning The Binding Of Isaac, don't forget that real completion also involves complete 100% on the three save files, something that I'll definitely do once the Switch version comes out
@@alistair4909 thats completely true, I wasn't clear but I meant the latest version with the "Repentance" DLC that will have it's own physical version and I'm planning to get that one to completion
I just love ghost of tsushima! Seriously so much fun. Also I feel that stardew valley should be on this list to. Going for the 100 percent is hard but so rewarding.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is also really fun to 100%. All the quests are extremely good (yes, all of them), the hundreds of books in the game also are absolutely full of lore and it's just a game that I didn't get bored of even after almost 300 hours of playing just this game alone.
Appreciate the Yakuza 0 love! I really enjoyed getting100% on Bully Scholarship edition and Maneater…easy to achieve and both games are fun and different.
FF7 remake not only unlocks more bosses which you mentioned, but hard mode has manuscripts in each chapter which give you SP for your weapons so you can essentially max out every weapon in the game.
final fantasy X-2!! lots of people hate it and with the fact you miss out on 80% of the story if you don’t 100% it makes sense why. there’s so many scenes missable that are integral to the plot and gave me a whole new appreciation of the game

Persona 5 was the first game in years I was driven to plat. As someone who knew absolutely nothing about the series it blew me away.
Days gone. I love the fact that you don't need to replay it's 60 hour campaign to get a platinum. It wasn't so much of a grind actually, just fun
yeh I went back and finished it a few times. back with it now on survival mode
One of my favorite games and really fun to replay
Favorite platinum ☝🏻☝🏻
Sekiro need 100%, the joy you get feeling like you just beat the most impossible thing is priceless
I’d say this goes for any FromSoft game
Hell yeah, the game actually feels better on your second playthrough because you've pretty much mastered the combat system and it's fun to destroy all of the bosses who gave you a hard time before.
@@SaltSpirits idk. I felt huge satisfaction getting platinum for bloodborne but sekiro is on another level imo. I get the feeling I’ll get greater satisfaction now from sekiro but it’s a bit too hard for me. Gotta gg.
@@g.gibson7255 i feel like the bloodborne platinum would feel a lot better. the sekiro platinum was quite easy for me after i mastered the mechanics. the only one that was a bit hard was the attain all skills because of how much currency you needed.
grinding xp for the skills is a major chore
Man Falcon's narration has become comfort food for me, Idk, but here I am snowed in and I am binging some older videos and I keep falling asleep and not, because of boredom just can't help it
Bloodborne it’s the only game I’ve completed 100% and I must say I love how natural it feels to do so. Like no over complicated things or super hidden stuff. Just keep playing, exploring, finding things and you won’t even notice when you get to the 100%
Days gone was the best and worthwhile for me.
Bruh it was very long for me 🤣
@@sayo2409 oh it was but I had too much fun getting 100. First game I ever did too lol
@@watchmen617 Respect. It’s a shame about the potential sequel being shot down 😔
@@sayo2409 indeed. Although the first one was such a hit for me, sequels aren’t usually a let down. So might be a blessing lol
Never understood why dayz gone is so underrated ?????
This was good. I need to finish Nier now!
Nier is amazing
I love nier but I wish you didn't have to replay content so much for all the endings. Phenomenal game regardless though.
That second half of the game really took what I thought was just a great game and made it rip my heart to shreds and bandage it back together.
the Metroid prime trilogy was my absolute fave to 100% complete, so satisfying and the worlds are amazing
"Yeah, we're using youtube as a verb today." lol
Falcon is one of the most charming and least self servicing voiceover guys out there youtubing. Thanks for being so chill and not plastering your face all over everything, besides literally plastering that falcon cartoon on stuff.
The cartoon faces are so good. I'm glad they gave him a cartoonified avatar. Not to shit on his real face or anything, but cartoons just have that appeal that watching people doesn't have.
my favorite is later alligator. its a fun little mystery game with 2 fake endings and one real one if you complete the family tree and play all the minigames, which doesnt take too long, so its totally worth it
I love that you added the spryo games. My favorite games of all time!
I just finished Nier Automata and its amazing. It's a must play for all gamers
Lucky you, my pc is a garbage
@@CrolyGiart lucky me
@@CrolyGiart sorry to hear that, it's not for everyone
I’m so glad you guys mentioned RDR1 cause that’s the only game I’ve completed 100% aside from bully
With VR gaining more users with the quest 2, I am hoping you guys throw in a VR video here and there. A before you buy for sniper elite VR, something about resident evil 4 VR, the valhiem native VR mod. Anything man :)
I love when you 100% an RPG and it unlocks something like a hidden/superboss. Best thing ever.
I got the platinum trophy for Ghost of Tsushima in a week and I'm still replaying it. Can't wait for the DLC
How many save files can you have on it?
I’ve not played it yet but I’m glad I haven’t because of the directors cut
@@mafia_trilogy_enjoyer 3 or 4
@@frisby7143 fair enough it's a true masterpiece
@@oshura2506 that’s enough save files for me lol
My favorite game to get 100% was Mario Odyssey. Even though some of the art moons were tedious, overall it was super fun
Bugsnax was surprisingly one that paid off from 100% completing everything. Definitely helps with getting the true/good ending as well.
You nailed it with Spyro 2, the only game I’ve actually 100%-ed on this list.
I’d add Days Gone, which I at least tried to do, but I’m not as good with them hordes.
I'm so happy Nier Replicant was number 1, it was definitely worth getting all 5 endings, it's such a beautiful and heartbreaking game.
A good game is a game where you can get 100% or close just by playing the first playthrough.
Very subjective
Sekiro was my first platinum. It wasn’t too hard honestly but the gameplay was good enough to make me want to unlock everything. Also each play through had something new for me to find so that also helped.
Can we get a dark theme count down please? Even during the day watching on the TV, it's so bright... I literally look away from the TV or phone every time the numbers come up 😂 😂
Google already offers a dark mode
Personally Maneater is the most recent game that I beat 100%. It was incredibly fun, not too challenging, and had plenty of variety to make it interesting all the way through. Plus the game even warrants a second playthrough because of how good it is
Is it like jaws unleashed
@@6FStyleCo YES! THANK YOU! IM SO HAPPY SOMEONE ELSE REMEMBERS! I loved the Jaws game for PS2! I wasn't allowed to have it myself when I was a kid so my uncle owned it and he would let me play it anytime I went over to his house and it's just so many core memories
Funnily enough the first two are the only two platinum I have on the ps4. And two of the best games on it
there Is a huge satisfaction from collecting all 108 stars from Suikoden games… Particularly suikoden 2 and 5 when there is an actual story effect to collecting all recruitable characters
Agreed. This game plus Tunic were the only games I 100 percented (is that even a verb?) last year.
Falcon is spot on with all these but let’s be honest the fox shrines in Ghost did start to get annoying, only towards the end though. The rest of the game is a masterpiece.
What, the foxes are sacred intelligent beings that bring good fortune. So cute and soft, maybe this will be the time I get to pet it. Beautiful game
FF7R. With the help of "Maximillian and Briana really got me into that "Legendary game. Great video "Gameranx👏🏼
Tbh every game without online trophies is worth platinum-ing
Sees Yakuza: No please NOT THE MAHJONG
Wow they actually put Yakuza 0 on this list. I’m actually currently trying to 100% it. I’m at 87% now and I can honestly say it is one of the hardest games I have tried to get platinum on. The main trophies aren’t too hard to get but completing the climax battles are insane. I’m so close yet so far with 5-6 battles left
Dragon's Dogma not on the list is criminal. That game doesn't start until you've finished it.
Ghost of Tsushima is a friggin masterpiece. Just running across the map is a meditation.
Hades is on the top of my list. Even getting 100% in steam I keep playing to get everything in the game, even I wasn't a completioner.
A few games pop into my head when I think about 100%-ing them and not getting bored doing so narrows it down, but the bigger ones being
AC: Black Flag- a few things were tedious, but all in all, I enjoyed doing everything in that game.
Cure me from the sadness of the euro final
You too eh
And me from the sadness of the America final.
@@matiassoares5953 The pain never ends man
Bloodborne was definitely my favorite to 100% - I even enjoyed the chalice dungeons 😂🤣
Bloodborne plat is pretty ez and fun until you gotta go for Queen Yharnam. I'm never doing that Defiled Amygdala fight ever again. At least you can skip it now with false depth chalices.
I did all the sidequest before I finished the game. You're so right in my book. I love "Ghost of Tsushima. I took my very sweet time finishing it.
I would love for Hades to show up in a part 2
The only thing I had in mind through out this entire video was "if hollow Knight isn't on this list they're delusional lol
Days Gone
Clearing out all Hords is something else
Any Telltale Games or Supermassive Games hands down 100% for full experience.. As well as breakthrough gaming games and ratalaika games, they're cheaper but platinuming a lot of then is fun and many have great stories!
needed borderlands 2 on this list. The side quest are literally just as good as the main quest and the story is amazing.
Jak and daxter has always forced me to 100% it. There's been a couple times where I wanted to just beat the game, but end up collecting all the power cells and precursor orbs.
It's always so satisfying to see that last cutscene when you collect everything.
I only achieved 100% in one game: Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Magnificent.
I tip my hat to you. I heard that’s a very difficult game
Blind Forest was so much better!!
My proudest gaming accomplishment was getting Platinum trophies in all of Yakuza games in under 3 months. I knew the game for years but didn't think about trying it until the locked down. Now its my top favorite
Fantastic. -falcon

Thank you for mentioning The Binding Of Isaac, don't forget that real completion also involves complete 100% on the three save files, something that I'll definitely do once the Switch version comes out
I thought there was a switch version? If memory serves it was released there during the consoles first year as well?
@@alistair4909 thats completely true, I wasn't clear but I meant the latest version with the "Repentance" DLC that will have it's own physical version and I'm planning to get that one to completion

Something to watch tomorrow on the job to kill time 👌😂 ( I save videos what I will watch tomorrow :D )
Drakengard was a great one to 100%. The endings are nuts and the weapon info is so freaking cool.
