Wanted to say Ray Scott, Bass Pro, Ranger boats were my Michael Jordon of the world for me back from when I was born in 1972 and literally kept me out of lot of trouble growing up. I was so obsessed with fishing with my dad and going to the little tackle shop in Springfield called Bass Pro shop back then. Its crazy to see where bass fishing has gone from there.. My Dad has since passed. You all do not know what in meant to my childhood. People like y'all have raised me in a sense!
OMG!!!! I use to watch Ray Scott and the Bassmasters all the time!!!
We just bought one and are really enjoying it! We started a CZcams channel to document our adventures and hopefully catching a lot of bass in Clear Lake California!
Ray Scott, what a character. I'd buy one of these boats if it came with a fishing trip with Ray. :)
Well these are 2 fairly large men, the owner in the back alone is 6'4 probably 500 lbs between the 2 of them...I think this boat holds up pretty good. Wish I could see how it holds up with a 3hp motor, other stuff and 500+lbs of men in the boat. I'm a big fella and some of my friends that are gonna want to fish are too...thats the only thing that has me worried about this great boat.
Rest in peace Ray Scott
Very nice boat but I doubt the X10 better then the Basstender 11.3. The water level line is almost up to top of the boat, any wave and I'm sure you guys will get water in your boat.
Seem like the boat is sitting pretty low.
i like the way these little boats work, i have a question for you guys that have these. I have not yet seen a video of these little boats on a lake with some waves, or windy days. Every video is with the boat on a small pond with no wind.
Search twin troller wind.... a few vids will pop up
The Twin Troller loves the wind. In most cases, wind is really a non-issue. You have 100% control of your boat so you never leave your position unless you want to. In our wind video you can see an example fishing a dock. Here's the link: czcams.com/video/MBJQ5vsE-EA/video.html
As far as waves go, how big of waves are you concerned about? The TT can handle some pretty big waves from wakeboard boats, etc. Also, the TT handles moderate chop, 2 ft waves, very well.
at about the 00:35 mark when he said a 4 pounder did you see the size of that fish lucky if he was 12 inches
My first concern is it seemed very loud. Second is live well options available?
The Twin Troller is not loud and yes there is a live well option. twintroller.com
Twin Troller so what was all the noise? Seemed like it was coming from the pedal movement.
Also do you guys have anyone customizing them in the Dallas Tx area.
I am 6’4 275 lbs and want the best small boat set up period. 10-12 screen , motor, custom wrap, loaded with all options, power pole. I want it all and have the cash money. Just need to get it done at a respectable location.
I think the issue in this case was mic placement. I'm not saying the pedals are silent but in this case the mic seems to be picking them up quite a bit.
Twin Troller
I think y’all should look into abs plastic. And maybe run an inductive throttle style switch. One like in the older ez go txt golf carts. They handle 12-48 volts constant. Come from China believe it or not and dealer cost around $35. Much smoother response.
Anyhow all plastic would make it completely silent. Other than that an awesome design and perfect for the smaller bodies of water. The price point is a little high for what it is. I understand the quality don’t get me wrong. But $7-800 cheaper and your selling 25% more boats imo.
Once again awesome boat. I am trying to find a dealer around Dallas that I can test one out.
You see the size of that house at 2:40 my gawd
Price of those I'll stick with my kayak
Yes they are way overpriced. You can get. used on for $2500-3,000 dollars. Just google them.
I bought one of these for $600. Usted
Over 5 grand for the fully loaded one with trailer , motor ect. That's not gonna get one in every American that likes to fish garage. Like to see something like this made out of aluminum all welded now that would be almost indestructible.
looks like any chop at all n it will sink
It may make fishing more difficult, but it would take some serious chop, like 2 ft. I know, I've been in it with no problems. You will not sink a TT. You could fill it up with water, and it won't sink.
2 feet is not serious chop......thats a ripple here....
Earl Tash well aren't you observant. It's not a freaking freight liner it's a little two man fishing boat.
Are you wanting to fish in this chop, or simply try to get home? I've been out fishing many days on a large lake where the wind picked up and the big bass boat guys went home and I had the lake to myself. The TT loves the wind. 2 foot chop isn't going to sink you getting home, but why would you fish in it?
Dealer near 19363?
I am 51 for your information. No need to be a jerk
We understand. Not everyone can afford the World's Best Fishing Boat. Save your pennies. Someday when you're older, you will definitely want one!
