Nice and very necessary upgrade. In the meantime, does anybody have a current foot pedal control box they would sell me? Unexpected wind storm swamped my boat and fried one of the boxes on my current pedals. The old design control box is not currently available from TT. My boat is sitting in my garage unusable and I'm missing out on fishing during the time of year that I actually have time to fish.
Very nice I love it…with that said only thing I’m wondering is why Black? Black will get really hot especially here in Florida when that direct sun is beating down on them in a 98* day, how hot will they get to the bare feet.
Do you have a upgrade on the motors? When I bought my first one you could upgrade to a 55 ft lb motors.
Our motors are 45 lb thrust electric motors. We originally had 36 lb and then increased to 45. We have never offered a 55 lb motor.
@@TwinTroller ok, that's probably what I'm thinking of.
How about fixing the water leaking into the hull on both sides. There are alot of people with the issue with water into the hull through the screwholes of the brushguard or motor mount holes underneath.
Water leaking into the hull is a very rare occurrence and usually happens when someone removes something from the boat and does not properly seal holes back.
Consider the box being reflective silver or white color to keep the electronics cooler inside.
Josh, your announcement is sooner than we expected. The new pedals are a game changer for your company and us fisherman also. I predict this will grow your company exponentially although the fish are probably not happy with this announcement! Josh I applaud your ability to get this product to the market so soon. Designing the new pedals, sourcing the components, and building the pedals from concept to a working model is an amazing accomplishment. You took this project head on, kept us in the loop as much as you could during this process, and now are ready to roll out the new pedals. My fishing hat is off to you. Gerry
Have yall resolve the issue with water entering inside the hulls. There are numerous complaints on this.
I have not had any issues with the old design, but may want to upgrade, depending on the price. Will you post an update when you have that figured out? Thanks.
We will
Looks good! I'm in!
The issue I see is I still would rather it be separate boards, this way you can just replace one side if it goes bad. Also what kind of UV protection does it have for the new pedal housing?
The housing is made of Lexan and has UV protectant in it. We went with Lexan over ABS because it will hold up to the sun and elements far better. The actual pedals themselves where your feet rest are rotationally molded and made from the same polyethylene material as the boat hull. It also has UV protectant in that material.
Well done. Appreciate the transparency. I’m impressed by the creativity and ingenuity of these design changes
Very nice how much?
The original pedals "rocking forward" only happens to new owners who try to press the pedals forward too much. After only a few minutes, most anyone could understand that once the forward motion of the pedals are at their limit, there's no need to press any further. As far as squeaks & noise, this is solved easily by using a good spray lubricant on the springs & moving parts of the pedals. My favorite is a spray called BALLISTOL. It works MUCH better than WD-40, because it leaves behind a lubricating film that lasts months & months.........even years, and makes the pedals dead-quiet during operation. I've only had to spray the springs & armatures of my pedals 3 times in total. WD-40 evaporates too quickly. I'm sure the new upgraded pedals are nice.........but I would rather have my solid aircraft grade aluminum over injection molded plastic. But hey, to each their own. The new pedals certainly look better. I spray both the wire plug ends and the plugs to the pedals after every outing with DRY-FORMULA electronic contact cleaner as prescribed by the company after every outing on the water, and my original pedals & wire leads still work just fine. Proud Twin Troller owner since 2016, and still going strong.
I will most definitely upgrade my 6 year old TT to these new pedals when they become available. I would like to know what happened to Frank and is he still part of the company.
Josh here. Frank is still around. I purchased the company from him about a year and half ago. He's semi retired, but still an executive of the company and works with us. He spends more time fishing than he used to, but he's earned it.
@@TwinTroller Frank, you earned the right to take advantage of your enormously popular Twin Troller. Welcome to our family of TT owner retirees! Gerry
❤😮
Thanks for the info and addressing the pedal concerns. Your inclusion of current owners to have the option to switch to these, shows your dedication to current owners to continue experiencing the unique experience that the Twin Troller offers! Well done! 👏
Looks like a great update to an awesome boat!
Excited for the new pedals ...
Love the new design
I need a 3 person Twin Troller.
Where can I find this dolly

I did the test with my friend we stood on the edge I weigh 180 pounds and my friend weighs 187 pounds and it didn't turn over the best stable boat I've ever had
AWESOME!!! ❤
Pretty much didn't answer squat.
Do you have a specific question? We'd be happy to address it for you.
I personally like the looks of the Hidden Marsh
Can you control the speed? 1, 2 3 4 MPH?
The Customer Care people have set the bar very high. They respond not only quickly but a personal phone call to help get you back on the water>
I have one and love it. I included the Honda 2.3 outboard to give it more range. As a crappie fishing boat, it’s hard to beat for small lakes and rivers.
Lake Sara,Effingham, Illinois ,Shelbyville Lake,Shelbyville, Illinois
Looks like something I want. Bring one to the Wichita Kansas area
What about using the boat in salt water at the coast
I'd buy one if it was 12-14' long. I have a 10 footer that works fine. I want a Twin Troller, but I really want a 14' option with two brushless 55 lb thrust motors, front and rear transoms, spot lock setup, etc. There is a market that y'all would kill in, but with a 10' boat you can't really hit that market ideally.
I want one, but the cost is pretty high for a 10 foot boat. I'd be more inclined to purchase one if it was 12-14' in length, preferably a 14' boat. I think there is a HUGE market for that, but you definitely need to expand your marketing. Your brand awareness isn't that great with all of the options currently out there. Anyway, a question I have is what kind of runtime can we expect with a 100AH lithium battery? Also, I don't recall whether you ever mentioned what motors your have and whether they're brushed or brushless. It would be nice if we could get brushless motors on future models and another option that would be FANTASTIC is like a spot lock type of feature to keep the boat in position without anchors for us guys that like to catfish the rivers. Just a few thoughts, love your boat and hope y'all have a lot of success so we can get more boats and more features!
