Don’t forget the two-inch spacing between the letters and numbers. . . They can ticket for that. . . Speaking from experience. Nowadays, you can order online, from various places, I nice registration lettering/numbering, all ready to install. Looks nicer and such. About $15 or so.

Just like on the road motorcycles go unnoticed and get little respect, most boaters don't acknowledge kayaks. Remember to try and make yourself as noticeable as you can, Remember that boaters seeing you is of very little concern to them but its one of the most important things to you. Stay safe Brother.

Maybe a dayglow orange or a brite hi vis green on a flagpole so the captain's on their big boat see you better. Some of them think your little kayak shouldn't even be in the water. Stay safe my brother.
that was actually a decent interaction with that officer, just warned you and sent you on your way. Seems like the noteworthy interaction was those turds moving your kayak like they owned it (seems to be that the more expensive the boat, the poorer the dock etiquette)
yeah i mean my kayak is bigger than most dinghies there, also costs way more money, and I'm a paying client of the restaurant, no fair at all. The police office was nice, most of them are, except that one that gave me a ticket in 2008 for no reason whatsoever!! im still pissed

First time seeing one of your videos! Great job! I fish in a Hobie PA12 in Ontario, Canada. I fish 5 or 6 days a week from May to Oct for Lake Trout, walleye, bass, and pike. One of these days I may try getting to Fla. for some saltwater action.

Good video. Watch the spacing also on the numbers. In my state, Oklahoma, the lake patrol will sweat you over them not being spaced the proper distance.

Going with Alex on this, just ask, things can escalate quickly when just doing what you want with another persons property, asking would have been the better approach.

Here in Penna. the fish commission just hassle the S out of you . I got searched 3 times in one day...wasn't fishing, just drifting trying to enjoy the beautiful day. After the 3rd search I went home, post the boat on Ebay and sold it. I've never return to either sport
Aliex bro, I run my visicarbon pro 360 in the morning, especially getting out of the bay. When I shut my light down, I just keep it up with my flag. And I just added an awesome bow mounted nav light Red/green. Supposed to be a 2 mile radius. I got the Steve runs on his Hobie from Key West Kayak fishing. I love my motors, accessories, and electronics. But I have everything onboard for safety. My Autopilot is a few weeks out, and i can't wait to set her up. My cousin is an engineer, so he's going to design my mount for my 2.5. 😁 🌊 🛶 🤞

I never thought of launching the yak from Crandon. Anyone ever giving you any issues with using ramps to launch a yak? I just figured it was a "boats only" type of thing.
