Rory Karpf is a 4-time Emmy and Peabody Award winning filmmaker who has collaborated with notable talents such as Tom Cruise, Kevin Costner, Snoop Dogg, Shaquille O'Neal, Paul Newman, Vin Diesel, Peyton Manning, Rob Lowe and Dana White. His documentary work includes the ESPN 30 for 30 films "I Hate Christian Laettner," "Nature Boy," "The Book of Manning," the Netflix series "Coach Snoop," and the AMC series "The Secret History of Comics." "Grace Point" is Rory's first scripted feature as a writer and director.

I suppose it depends on whether you're into sports. I couldn't care less about sports and by extension, films on them. Now, Esports (FPS) I can relate to and keep pace with and understand what's happening on a fundamental level, but I have no interest in watching Whiplash story and plot wise as it revolves around a faulty man and a drum kit. Same way that football is a load of people that pay silly money to stand around cheering for millionaire total strangers to kick a sphere thing into a net. I just can't relate enough to be interested.
