  • Hi Creators,
In the last tutorials, we learned how to model, light and animate the sci fi room. In this tutorial, we will texture and finish lighting our environment. All textures are procedural made. Don't forget about the PLUS side at the end! I'll show you how to animate the Incandescence! It's a full packed tutorial.
In this tutorial, we cover how to use aiNoise, specularity, animate textures, and more!

Thank you Monica!... In your tutorial you said you cannot see the textures key frames but there is a way to view them. When you have your shader selected as in you see it in the attribute editor press the button at the bottom left of the attribute editor that says "Select" that selects the actual shader and the keyframes will pop up on the timeline.

Workaround for disappearing Arnold light meshes: Turn off the Light Visible on all Mesh Lights, and apply the glowing texture you used for the chairs and table. Quick and dirty, but rings will render as glowing all the time.

Hi Monica, I was just wondering if you would be alright with making a video about the Arnold render settings. I’ve even using Arnold’s default settings ever since Maya 2018 and I haven’t seen too many CZcams videos about this topic. Awesome video as always! 😄

I followed all the steps and urgh I have some problem with the mesh of the neon circles, I cannot see or move them when I open the file, only can see when I render it and I can't group it with anything, do you have the same problem : (? Can you please help me to find out where I went wrong? Thank you so much for your help :'>.

Amazing tutorial. I was hoping to learn how to create emission with a texture map, as the areas I wish to emit light from are quite complex. Any Ideas how to achieve this?
