Hey Brent, great tutorial thank you for this. I really appreciate your style, it's nice to watch a tutorial for a change that is concise and straight to the point. And a tutorial that has decent audio. Man, I cannot stress that enough! Nothing frustrates me more than trying to watch a video with crappy buzzing sound sort weird Echoes or God knows what else. And I really appreciate the time factor. I hate watching one-hour videos that could have been done in 20-minutes! I mean it's nice that people take the time to produce videos but if you can't articulate what you want to say without putting in a ton of "um's" and "ahs" and awkward pauses, then maybe those people should rehearse a bit LOL. Yeah, I'm an old cranky Maya artist, can you tell? Haha, too many long nights sitting in front of the computer, too many long days trying to get stuff done, too many deadlines. So yeah, I guess I have turned into an impatient cranky old bastard who likes to complain. Bahahaha, this was meant to be a compliment LOL keep up the good work man. It was refreshing to watch and learn something new, without getting frustrated.

@@BrentLeBlancCG Actually, there is something I've been wondering about. I'm working on a personal project and I need to create some Terrains. I want to create a couple wide shots, panoramics. So I was thinking of using displacement Maps to create some large mountain ranges in the background of the shots. I'm not quite sure how to deal with displacement in Arnold, and how to set up Lighting in Arnold with atmospheric Haze. Back in the day I used Mental Ray, and I would just bring in a fluid container and render that out as a layer and comp it into my final render in After Effects. But I think things must be different now with Arnold. I've got some fantastic displacement maps for mountains, I'm just not sure how to use them in Maya with Arnold.
      Thanks,
      Robert Waterworth
