Cant beat listening to Mr Bob & his fish tales! As the daughter of a farmer who was 95% deaf from open cab tractors/machinery, please think about your hearing. I watched him cry many tears over not being able to hear his kids/grandkids. God bless
You can't beat those ol ford Louisville and Dodge swing Fender's for ol farm trucks..a little maintenance..there good for the season..
we had one of those fords that we had a chicken litter bed on. that ol truck was great.
I would add one of the donated CaseIH seats to the cab of Big Brute. And no, you don’t want to straight pipe. Not unless you want to lose your hearing while working inside the cab for long hours.
You guys are the greatest at keeping the old iron running!! Don’t need the latest and greatest equipment on the market!! Great family!!
Yep the latest and greatest has all that electronic crap on it.
straight pipe straight pipe straight pipe straight pipe!!!!!
The sound sounds wonderful greetings from the Netherlands
"Finnicky"!! Loven the dad jokes!!
Straight pipe sounds great for about 5 min then all those hrs in the field I would want it quieter
Bob and his fish stories!! Straight pipe on the Big Brute. Sounded good!
Honestly I was wondering about the jack on the implement. Lol
God Bless the Farmers!!!
God Bless the Welkers!!!
Bob Welker 2024!!!
It sounds good straight piped, but you're going to be spending lots of time in it so do what works for comfort.
I think I usually see you with ear pro on in the cabs, but still might be nicest to have a muffler in addition to the ear pro.
I’ve already lost quite a bit of my hearing, sitting on top of Detroit Diesel’s. So the strait pipes sound great from here!
Nick, you are the one that has to drive it hour after hour,if it were me I would want it as quiet as possible. I’m retired OTR driver. I drove one truck for about 2 years, it had straight pipes. That continuous noise drove me crazy. I was never so happy when I got a new truck.
Straight pipe for sure. 👍👍
I'm a little behind in watching. I'm catching up as quickly as possible. But, today is Mother's Day so blessing for the Welker Moms one and all. God bless
Straight pipes for sure. Glad you washed the windshield on the truck.
Poor old Fords , you got to show them some love one day ...
Straight pipe 💯 🤘🏻🦅🇺🇸
Good luck Welker Farms seeding your 2023 crops
Definitely straight piped
i'm glad you said that Nick about cleaning them hydraulic fittings, i watch a lot of farming videos and i cringe every time i see a lot of them just shove their fittings into those nasty grimy dirty couplers, i just shake my head.. then they complain when they are leaking and frozen up, it's like well, HELLO!!! God Bless!
I've been watching you all for over five years, gosh, five years! I just want to say the Welker Farm has come a very long way in those five years. Might not seem like it to you, but as an observer on the outside, yup, a long, long way. Maybe you guys can do a mid-season video recapping mile posts for your farm before and since you got your CZcams channel going strong?
We'll consider that idea. Thanks
Straight pipe, baby!!!! But, if you want to hear in your 50s you probably ought to put a muffler on her!
good show, bob, most reliable fishing story i'll hear this year
I love the old Louisvilles, they were good trucks.
Straight pipes for sure Nick 👍
Big brute sounds great strait piped
Muffler, for sustainability. Long term unneeded noise is hard on the operator.
If I could fix anything like you guys, I’d have a vintage (not old😉)cool looking truck too. I love the dash & big steering wheel.
I'm late, but straight pipe. Absolutely!!! 🚜🇺🇸 🚜🇺🇸 🚜🇺🇸
Looked like a really productive day. Them are some really nice looking Koi fish Sir. Stay safe and healthy.
Good luck fixing your two tandems Welker farms
Awesome, I can smell the dirt and know that peas are not far behind. Thank you, take care and God bless!!
I spent the whole day harrowing and getting ready for moldboard plowing. So what do I eat my dinner in front of the computer and watch the Welkers. God Bless you folk!
I would love to have a couple of trucks like that. Im running with 2 gas f600s. Really nice trucks you have.
Straight pipe for the win and chrome side pipe
Where you guys are straight piped is awesome thanks
A busy time of year! Prayers for a good harvest.
Strait pipe for the win!!
It is a true wonder to watch your farm come alive in the spring. Always amazed at how much goes into getting ready to get seed in the ground. Wishing all of you a fruitful season. Thanks for sharing and God Bless!
I love the sound of big brute. If you have power where you’re parking the truck I’d put a battery tender on it. I use them on every vehicle I have
Here's to a safe, prosperous season for the Welkers! Thanks for putting these videos out & sharing your lives with us.
I would love to see that old, neglected Dodge in that shed get some attention. I pray you have a safe and successful season. God bless.
Awwww....
Even the pond fish get cabin fever! 😉
The straight pipes sounds fine from my house in Florida.
4:45
Excellent.
Yankum ropes from Burley Idaho. That's my town
The new tires 🛞 and booms look great on Big Brute! Good job Welkers 👍🏻
Butterfly valve so best of both worlds ,
Straight pipe
and Muffler. 😊
Great video guys good to see you guys getting ready for planting. God bless you guy's
Get a horizontal muffler from a Caterpillar scraper and convert it over ! You Leg Arms can do the welding and pipe work !
really great to see y'all getting for planting. Cant wait. Awesome video guys
Straight Pipes however only if it’s got a Stereo!
Straight pipe it. Sounds good that way!
You can also raise the jack on the cart more by undoing the bracket it is bolted to and raising up and then tighten the bracket again. It looked like you have another 3 inches to spare there. Muffler for the sprayer cos the straight pipe novelty will wear off very quickly when you're doing 10 plus hours in it.
Straight piped sounds awesome!
Always good to be seeing final preparations well under way in anticipation of the Rush To Plant 2023!! -Bob...
I use to watch you sll every Tuesday and Saturday with anticipation for each viseo
Because of the Big Buds l would watch even if you just drove them around in circles. Your life style and quality of character is so needed to be seen in todays crazy society. I am looking forward to many videos coming from now till ne t winter. God Bless You All.😊
Awsome operation guys! Well done and thank you for sharing!
All the very Best for the forth coming planting season, stay safe and God's speed.
Thank you!
Awesome video thanks for sharing
The Batco conveyor sure has simplified your operation. One less tractor needed. I still believe should have incorporated electric conveyor at the new bin site big bins for economic reasons. Hopefully can fill those big bins this year!
Straight pipes are great unless you’re the one in the cab for 16 hours. Put a muffler on it
Thanks for another great video.
Busy busy time getting ready for spring field work.
Lots of maintenance to do after equipment sits for the winter.
Looks like you got both grain trucks going and ready.
Augers are checked over and ready. Go get em.
Keep up the good work getting ready for go time putting seeds in the ground.
Bob has the summer fish pond ready and by now the fish are in their summer home. Good going bob, the head fish master. Yeah.
Keep up the good work guys and getting ready for spring field work.
Thanks for everything Welkers.
Wishing you the best seeding and prayers for a good crop this year.
Thanks
The Iowa Farm Boy.
Steve.
I smelled the smoke from that truck starting in Alberta!
Love the Welker system, blessings the '23 growing season!
As always another great video with some good tips. Especially cleaning out the hydraulic ends.
I need to deal with this. Also, the struggle is always real. Straight pipes all the way.
Straight pipe it of course!!!
Love the older trucks. Big Brut needs a straight pipe behind the cab if possible. Good luck planting 23. Your videos are awesome.
I like the old red Dodge in the corner. We had a 48 Dodge one ton, later a 52 Dodge heavy half ton. Good little working trucks.
We use mufflers on our irrigation engines like 3306 and 3406 cats that are strait through. We have many more engines around, that greater exposure can damage the hearing.
straight pipe is where its at!
The "straight and narrow" Pipes of course 😅🤣😂. God bless y'all and praying you have awesome harvest this year!! John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Millennial Farmer just recently pull started a truck too. Love the videos guys!
Straight pipe for sure!
Big Brute sounding awesome. Wouldn't change it.
Same. Brute is best now.
Good start to planting season 🌾🌽🫛
Muffler, straight pipe looks awesome but you are going to be spending Alot of time in it so make it comfortable for you.
If you want to be able to hear in your old age you will put a muffler on the Brute
Straight piped🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great video Welker Farms
Straight pipe the Big Brute
Hearing is important. Straight pipe and ear plugs would be cool. Love the videos.
Definitely straight!!❤
Always straight piped!!!
Straight pipe all the way… love the sound…
Couple of custom stacks like dirt perfect. Come up between the cab and the tank
Straight pipe on the brute for sure we did it to our 335 case packing tractor and we haven't regretted it what so ever we did my t800 silage truck as well and they both sound awsome together
Really great to see things moving right along God Bless the American Farmer Thank You for all you do it makes me feel real proud to be an American
Thanks!!
Nice job Men this is a sign of what’s coming you will have smooth sailing now with your trucks and that helps for sure for awhile now it’s going to be good. Where’s Coby? 🥺 God Bless you with a safe smooth Year! Me and Miss Baby 🐕 love you and are Praying for you all ❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
Brotherly love shinning through you seem to get along pretty well all considered
Great vídeo.
Definitely straight pipe it
Always enjoy your family videos
Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Brother Nick please think about Coby and riding when you decide about the muffler if it doesn’t cause noticeable power impact please use it for him and remember we’re all getting a bit older and we only get one set of ears and the noise reduction is nothing but beneficial for everyone who’ll be in or around the Cab . ❤️😌 God Bless you and you and Scott have been rolling along well keep going Bro’s! ❤🖖🏼🇺🇸
Great job y’all
The biggest issue on those old delco mt 40 and 45s in the 855 Cummins. Is the little copper or brass strap that goes from the selonoid to the body of the starter they corrode slightly and then they get hot because of bad connections. If you shine them up they start 10 times better.
straight.....but im bias as a 20+ year diesel mechanic i love the sound of straight exhaust.
Thanks you hard working guy's and God's Blessing to y'all 🙏🙏✝👍
Thanks!
I am sure u will get tired of straight pipes after few passes. so muffler
Straight piped!
Nick, Scott and Bob, im😂surprised at you all. You can pull start the truck while it's in reverse too you know 😁
