That day for Billy is measured in smiles/miles.
Well lets see I can go ride on rollercoasters or get to drive mechanical wonders mhhhh I think I will go with the mechanical wonders

Of all the different people or places that Billy could have chosen from Make A Wish, he chose you. If that isn't a Godsend, I don't know what is. God knew you are special in Billy's heart and so He blessed you both. Billy driving the Bud and you harvesting the best wheat this year for what you see as unknown reasons. There is no coincidence with Him.
Being a farmer my self I would just like to say you guys are the kindest people, considering it’s very hard to make time to do things as a farmer and you just make it happen.
As a fellow farmer, please accept my sincere thanks for what you did for Billy. You not only did a wonderful thing for that young man, but you did a fantastic thing for farmers everywhere by showing what the true character of the agricultural community is like. I am involved in a program in Ohio where farmers " adopt " disabled veterans and their families and work at making their lives a little easier since they have already given so much to us. I can see the same kind of genuine love for your fellow man in your interactions with Billy that I see in the participants of our program. Thank you again for making us ALL in this vocation look so much better and God Bless you !

My daughter became a Make-A-Wish child back in 2011. What you did for that young man is so special! Trust me when I say, the smile you put on his face, traveled all the way to his heart! I’ve been sick over our farmer’s losing so much crop this year from drought, to hail storms, to too much rain & wind down south. Between Billy’s visit & a 30-32 bushel field, I was choking back tears.

In these turbulent times we live in, it is so heart warming to see God's people helping each other out. By the way, you know and I know why that field was producing better than expected. Seems someone years ago said to some fishermen, throw your net over on this side of the boat, they reluctantly did, caught a bounty. Sometimes, in these modern times, someone says, try that field, and it surprises everyone with a bounty.

The world needs more people like the Welkers for bringing joy to those that may not have may opportunities.
Being in the music business we hosted a concert for make a wish foundation in our area and to see how these kids that showed up just to find a place in life and fact is there time is limited it blesses my heart I know billy is busting inside with joy even though it’s just a ride or to see a large farm in action you see everyday he just got a one day glimpse
