Great vid, great philosophy - Picked up an 89 Ford F700 10yd dump truck last summer and acquired a 95 4x4 F350 (pre-odb2 computer) outfitted with a hydraulic dump bed. I call those 'tractor paint jobs'. Looks great, prevents corrosion and makes for easier cleaning. Won't win a carshow... bonus!

My 1996 Bobcat has no computer, the only electronics are for the interlock but if it breaks it is easily bypassed. I have an old 1972 school bus motorhome I need to get going again!

I’m disappointed you didn’t paint the inside of the box too! Same truck my dad had years ago when he started his excavating business. I love talking to young truck drivers today that need a 1000 horsepower air ride cabs and A/C. That old 366 gas engine pulled a full size backhoe on a float with the box loaded with dirt many times and our land around here is not flat! Today with our construction fleet our “late model” dump truck is a ‘98 Mack with a couple from the 80’s. While everyone else is calling their dealer for service because they are down, we just keep trucking away. Not to mention the trucks have been paid for years.

Lol...I had an uncle who never washed his truck. It was green from being parked on the north side all the time. He said it preserved the paint this way....he was right. Go figure?

I thought I made a wise decision buying a 87 kawasaki as my bike but I regret it now. The dumb thing has a carb but also electric brains which are throwing fits...... the worst kind where you get the worst of both worlds, electric trouble but old inefficiency. xD
If you ever want to start running black diesel home made diesel fuel hit me up. Been doing it about a year in 2 vehicles I would say I've pretty well mastered it and save a ton of money on fuel. It would fit you very well
