Leg Arms (Scott Welker) continues to impress with big repairs to our BIG BUD 600/50 tractor. Won't be long and it will be field ready! We also do our own automotive repairs so anytime our personal vehicles break, we send them to the shop. Hollywood (Nick Welker) helps Leg Arms where he can and finds creative ways to smash his finger! Oh well it'll heal and the work will continue!

Leg arms are right, when you have lost a bunch of nails, you cringe when you see someone with a blue/black smashed nail, i'ts like a mini PTSD.

Its ether that or lose the nail. Have done it with a knife out on developments when doing utilities, I was told get it done and cleaned up and get back to it. Same with being sick, go puke and come back. Miss the old timers I worked with and my grand fathers . But I learned alot,some didn't have the generations to pass down the knowledge because the kids went a different direction or no interest. So it's good to see others trying to pass it down whether its family or someone interested and wanting to learn. Keep up the videos.
Hey LegArms I haven't read through all the comments to see if it has been said. If you add a length of wire to the broken spots in the harness in the door jamb it should relieve the stress on the harness and prevent the wires from breaking again. I am a Ford dealer tech in Florida and I see this issue on a regular basis. I love the channel keep up the good work

Night to shine sounds great, my daughter is very poorly, she will never get to go to prom, have boyfriend or wedding, all the things I looked forward too, she is my only daughter. But she was misdiagnosed for a couple of years. Had a severe, rare form of complex epilepsy. She had s fit for 10 minutes and it affected her brain. đđđ life isn't easy. But I still thank god for what we have. Keep up the good work all of you.

mechanic here, a torch tip drill set works great for deflating fingernails, lil bitty drill bits and a pin vise to turn them with by hand so you can sneak up on it and not get that painful over penetration, works even better when you need to reopen the hole after it seals up and pressure returns

This is one of the only channels where the lathe just gets used. Most channels are like, "Look at my lathe! I can do stuff with it! What should I do with it!?"

I like my GoPro Hero 8 Black so far. It was a big improvement over trying to film video with my phone and using some firewood to hold my phone up. I did make a magnetic mount for mine, using Nickâs design and parts. That is definitely one of my favorite GoPro mounts.

Awesome videos guys... 2 things:
First, you did the same thing to the bearing that you did to your fingernail pressing the outer into the seat through the inner bearing race. you basically transferred all that pressure through the precision ground races and there is a high likelihood that you did damage. you should use a ring or other device and never press "through" the bearing assembly. Depending on the bearing, you can also flat out crack or break it like that.
Secondly, take an injection syringe (a new, large dia one like you would use on cattle), you can just use your fingers to spin it like a little drill to get through the fingernail. No heating required and its a bit less cringy than using a rough drill bit. The vet did that to my fingernail once when he was onsite and it worked great
Iâve lost an entire hand worth, 3 on one hand, thumb-index-and middle, and two on the other⊠surprisingly only 2 had the wavy nail, but it lasted for probably a half-3/4 of a year before it grew out⊠it definitely sucks, especially when two of them were ripped off instead of crushed. Hope it gets better, stay warm guys, canât wait til spring to see the new girl in action

I'd rather work on that heavy greasy pin than try to fix on those plastic door parts , wife's and daughters vehicles your employed for the rest of your days !!! I'm sure God has replaced everyone of my fingernails many times but I feel fortunate enough to have them all ! One of the nails I lost the pain was very extreme from the built up pressure. When I got the hole burned through the blood squirted out 12-14 inches and my finger was looking more like a banana than a finger. Getting that pressure released was the most relieve ever! Keep it clean! I was planting at the time and got dirt in it and I got septicemia in mine and the Dr was afraid I would loose the finger, smelled like road kill with that nasty infection but all is fine now. Legarms you got me beat I have lost five nails so far.
I smashed my toe nail a few years ago when the doctor drilled the nail the blood pressure painted his ceiling and the release of blood felted so good đ
I have just recently discovered your channel, I love it, Great seeing Father and sons working together, like seeing all your efforts, sorry about your finger nail, been there many times,
One observation, there is no need to align holes in spherical bushing with zerk fitting in draw bar, that is the reason for the groove around the perimeter of the bushing ,to distribute the grease around to the hole in bushing

I used a drill bit to relieve the pressure on a smashed nail once, but I worked the bit with fingers from the other hand. I read several comments about using drills and I'd never do that myself. Relieving that pressure felt so good though!!
Nick, Iâve done that while hammering a pin out on my car.... and I did say fffffffffiddlesticks!
So I used a tiny drill bit for drilling printer cartridges. They have a plastic wheel on them so you can spin it with your fingers.
The relief when you release the blood is legendary!
If only there was some sort of.. societal.. collective.. shared pool of insured citizens who can reduce the cost of medicine. Love the channel, watching from Canuckistan!
James Palylyk If you want to fix health care in the US, fix lawsuits. The drs get tort reform and pass laws that if you sue and loose, you are responsible for lawyer fees for the part you sued. Costs are high because of ambulance chasing lawyers!

I crushed and split my pinkie finger in half straight down the length of it, thankfully a bit of tape managed to pull it all back together. Now I've got a little scar and no nerves in that finger, I can stir a coffee with it
