I am 6 days out from laparoscopic Roux-en-Y surgery. That was more painful than my hip replacement. Yes I walked and even did time on a NuStep machine. So I don’t need advised to move. Today I went shopping OY-Vay and it was difficult. I am in my 60s and that may have something to do with it. But keep in mind it is definitely NOT painless and easy for everyone.

Is that normal and will it go away I can't stand the thought of that always being there sometimes it literally just hurts so bad I told it like passes that area.

The multivitamins meant to crush can be swapped for gummies but very well chopped (chew in tiny bites). The gel vitamin d how can it be consumed. I feel after we go home there’s no help with something as simple as information.

These are very helpful, but I wish the gaze of the teleprompter would be raised up. I find videos very difficult to watch when the subject of the video is not looking straight into the camera. The eye gaze of these videos is always looking down or a downward perspective and for me it's very difficult to watch, so I put it in the background and do other things while I listen. Great content, but wish the production was better... just need to raise up the telemprompter so it is at a level gaze with the camera lense so it appears you are looking at your viewer and not at their chest/neck.

My husband did this surgery 2 weeks ago and I feel he is having hard time to pass liquid down to his stomach. He is feeling too much pain whenever the liquid is about to enter the stomach. He can’t even drink shakes or thick broth. The same feeling happens with water. Is it normal? Two days ago they gave him blood solution to get his energy back since he doesn’t drink well. It will depend on your insurance company and the program you are going through. On average, our patients get through the program in 200 days (~6 months). If you are dedicated to the program and your insurance requires a 3 month diet (or less), then there is a chance you could get your surgery within 3 - 4 months from your initial visit.
