You go cowboy!! You work hard, keep pimping your sponsors, nothing wrong with that. Dont listen the the WOKES!!!
@@dankenny4881 I don't mind hearing the sponsors. I know you are doing your best trying to provide for your family.
My cow wagon is 14’2” and I’ve crossed those wind River tunnels, like you say in the center.
FJB!!! Fantastic job Jax! Thank you for sharing!
When you’re welding aluminum, use a stainless steel brush and it will clean the aluminum. A tig welder works better than a mig welder. Make your weld, scrub again with your stainless brush, then tig the weld again.
I love that ag acception man, only thing that makes my elog not completely horrible.
Good paying freight is an illusive thing these days. If you don't pivot...... Well, things are coming apart. Hang in there, brother.
Way back when I was young my ol boss said " if ya keep an eye on the pennies, the dollars will take care of themselves"!!
Yes sir for the time and energy and money it takes for you to put out videos .and someone wants to send you free products to try who the heck can blame ya. More power to ya brother. Roll easy sir 🇺🇲
I have to admit, it was a little scary coming through that tunnel. It would have been nice to see you unload the cattle and see yo do the wash. Really good content. Thank you.
the trouble with overpasses is they build them to spec, put a sign, and forget it. if they start at 14'....... 4-6yrs later add 2" pavement.... and another few years later another f4esh layer..... 13' 6" is close
I watch whatever you put out. I enjoy them all.
I love your videos, keep up the great work. Also keep your head held high Sr.
Good morning Jax! I enjoy watching your videos!! I live in Ridgecrest CA near Cerro Gordo. Im sure you remember climbing the grade in Death Valley ?! We are currently getting ready for summer again.🥵 I dread summer! I happen to have a very large, antique Insley steamshovel that I need to contact Dave and Brent about and a water truck for you that you might be interested in. Hope to meet you someday. Keep up the outstanding job you do in everything you do and stay safe! You have a BEAUTIFUL family!
Good for you the cattle should come first. There are car washes.
Appreciate your videos, sir! Thanks for educating us along the way.
If you can afford it park it instead of running cheap park it. But if you gotta haul cheap to make a slim profit to keep afloat to live another day you gotta do what you gotta do.
a local otr company up here in northern Maine just posted a package of 1 2016 and 2 2017 round-nose big bunks for only $50,000 all or nothing......... scary cause they are a solid like 3-5th gen company and pride in it
On my Barrett 53x102 pot I have a trap in the center of the front in the belly and it has 1/2"x2"key stock welded on the floor and a cover on top of that. It will let the water out and keep most of the solids for the most part in the trailer. And you have to really look in order to see that the water is coming out.
Believe me, as an owner who wants to prolong my equipment as long as possible and idle as absolutely little as possible, I understand the concept of "finite time" on a motor. One thing that helps me to relax quite a bit though is thinking, if I idle tonight, that just means my engine will eat shit 1 day sooner".. Thinking about that day that will inevitably come down the line, are you not going to rebuild it because it happened on Wednesday instead of Thursday? When it happens, you'll handle it.. I'll rebuild mine AGAIN when it comes time.... Just relax and let these motors do what they were built to do, work..... God bless, brother...
South pass is no joke!!
Heck of a hill
Great video and very interesting. I have only hauled cows in a straight truck and that was not very comfortable. Thanks for your great videos
Good morning jax very glad everything went great on this run and you got back home to the family hope the family is doing well you do what you need to do ill be here to cher you on i no it's tuff out there but you are tuffer and smarter take care and god bless !!!!
I almost thought Joel was Coach Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Great ride an great guy
Max's is NO sellout!!!!!! He is one of the last REAL people on the planet and he is as real as there is!!! He is an honest guy!! Why would they ask him if this wasn't the case?!?!?!!
Jax is for real. I don't know him personally but in my opinion what you see is a hard working man. Great father, husband to his bride. Love to run co-driver with him . Tell a bunch. Of crazy stories my face will hurt from laughing
Love the cabover Jax. One of the first I drove was similar. It was a tan eagle 10 speed pulling a grain hopper.
Cool truck
I enjoy seeing your product review videos, I trust you will give your honest opinion on what you try and use.
Nothing wrong at all with doing reviews.
I’ve actually been made aware of some good stuff this way and “as you said” just don’t watch if of no interest.
Pretty simple eh!
Enjoyed this video of the old cabover Jax….thanks for the “free” entertainment 😊
Also I would think any ranchers who hire you should be aware of the concern you have that the cattle have “sufficient “ room in trailer. I’m sure (have no evidence 😮) that some others would just force as many in as possible.
But then, once they’re shipped, maybe the ranchers don’t care either?
Unknown to me how they think about it, but I admire your scruples.
Absolutely brilliant video stay safe from Halifax England 🇬🇧
Dude just want to thank you your can do attitude is so refreshing. Glad your nascar videos brought me here for the long haul.
Good point Jax. Dingers or mechanical and electrical. Both of those things can fail. Common sense says use your eyeballs. But that has gone out the window with a lot of people these days unfortunately. Awesome video brother.👍👍👍
Dude,I’m loving B3.
Hi Jax how are you doing love your videos dit Emma got her licence❤❤❤
No your worth when going over the road. Great video brother 👍
Running those hills takes me back to the 80s hauling bulls… not a winter fan those hills could get slick! Pucker factor could get pretty intense sometimes. Loved hauling bulls the people are the best you will ever meet❤️
Jax and Joel a bromance.
thanks Jax
You blew that drivers mind 😂😂
I can't wait to see the Coronado!!!
Aww love your care bear animal husbandry ….
Glad your trip went well and your home safe and sound ❤❤
Thanks for taking us along
Ps: Love your reviews 🙌🫶❤️
Wow..butt pucker on that black ice..nice job driver
You remind me of a guy that used to do a Podcast I really Liked.. 😂😂
Keep On Truckin 🤗🤔😉
At timestamp 20:17 first off that is fertilizer and is good for the grass ..... second it is being a kind hearted person and being considerate of the cattle who want you be stand in their own fecal matter....... third it may give more traction for the motorists so they should be happy ........... keep being kind
You are correct about hoppers. Our guys are getting 40-50 cents a bushel. Horrible.........
Jax, I am glad that you are taking the opportunity to showcase some of the sponsor stuff. Just like you said, pulling into the house, your hopper may not get used to much. You have a big family to take care of, and you do what you have to to take care of them. I joined your channel during to Sierra Gordo mine stuff and you have helped many along the way. Do what you have to you ARE NOT a sellout. Take care be safe out ther.
Greg
Thanks Greg!
@realwildwildwest anytime brother. You deserve to have some good things come your way
Jaxson it is very interesting to me to have you narrate the way that you make a living for you and your family in life.
I’m going to send this on from Galesburg over to my farmer/trucker friend (Ron M) that sometimes hauls loads from central eastern Illinois to the Mississippi River Grain barges from Lexington, Illinois
Have a great week.
Watching product reviews does not bother me at all, if I hated the review, I could just fast forward, but in your typical style, they are actually fun to watch and I hope the views generates you a few extra bucks! Thanks for the great content Jax.
Ahhhh Yes sights from my home! wind river tunnels, and canyon where the water runs uphill! (Home Cody )
👋Well As Always You Really Make Every Truckin Adventure Great Jax! I'm All Done Though 39 Years Been FUN! Snoman Says So!!🤗☃️⛄️
I’m going to try to get out of driving and rest in Florida come nov and go to nccco crane school.
You’re welcome to join me.
tom
Hahah I laughed pretty dang good at the “outlaw enough to blow the coop” part of the video. I would have liked to see that interaction with him 😂
This guy is more old school trucker then Gentry and all the rest. I’m not in this Cabover craze because I’ve seen how much damage they do to necks and backs. My dad drove a Astro day cab for GM for 36 years and had 3 neck and 2 back operations. First time he drove my W-9 he thought he was in heaven.
I don't if you'll see this or read this, but, I absolutely love your videos. I an from SE Wyoming and currently live in Las Vegas. I miss Wyoming and Montana more than anyone will ever know. I love truck and wish I had been a truck driver, I was told by my dad early in life, that God gives you a gift, it's up to you find out what that is, his was auto body and paint. Mine was electrical, I'm very proficient in a lot of trades buy electrical is my specialty. I've been fascinated by trucks and driving my whole life. I am also a cowboy, I grew up in the sandhills of Nebraska. I learned to drive at a very very young age. I learned to drive a semi at 14. Only one summer, haven't driven one since. I miss it. My story is a long and very colorful one. I heul heavy loads with light tow vehicles over roads that shouldn't be done, but I'm still here. I've been all over the US and miss these two stated the most. I miss people like you the very most. I guess that's my point. God bless and I hope to meet ya son day. Thank you
Been thru the wind river canyon going to thremop, cody, and the oil fields for 30 years. Never gets old. Love that drive.
You are right on the freight rates in 45 years of trucking I have never seen it this bad.
I had an old gold line that only had one trap door that worked . So I was a jerk all the time lol.
Jaxon, I'm happy to see Freightliner Coronados and painted blocks.
Great video! I learned a lot in that video and understand just how stressful hauling a load of cattle on those road conditions can be. Great video.
I appreciate your reviews, I purchased a pair of Hisea boots and they have been great. Could not beat the price either. Almost due for a new set as I have worn them alot.
Hey there. Im glad to hear that! You know I’m coming up on 2 years with mine. I just put new insoles in and they’re good for another year I’d say. I wasn’t expecting much for the price but holy smokes have they done well. I’m Planning a follow up review
Ya drove through my hometown
I did South Pass once. Hauled dairy heifers to Ogden UT from Iowa. Loaded calves on a ranch southeast of Ely NV and followed the group of trucks I was with across Hwy 50 to Delta UT on the way to Belfry MT. I think it was 1983 when the Great Salt Lake was flooding and drove through water for a mile or more on Hwy 50. I wouldn't have taken the chance if I was by myself and heard they closed the road again after that trip. I stopped at Rock Springs to make sure SP was okay before heading up that way since I had a slow truck and couldn't keep up with the others.
People can cost you money.
Cattle can make you money.
Should've just said "don't worry bout my log books, I'm a cattle hauler." 😂
Keeping your traps open letting the poo on the highway the rain washes it off to the shoulder and keeps the grass green, much better then the grease and oil the cars and trucks leave on the road. Happy trails buddy 👍
'Real Life' in BIG SKY COUNTRY - Gotta Love it !!
Steve / W5BIB - OTR 1977-2009
I love review videos! Seeing how honest and open you are I would trust your opinion on products over other reviews.
It's a shame most of the products you get to try out are not available here in the UK 😅
Great job. And I completely agree with your stance on not contributing to the cheap load problem. Hang in there homie.
Another awesome video. Good morning from Miles City.
Thanks Jax for a nother great video ❤.😊
Cabbage is tuff grade and yes tunnel are so tricky because of paving Changes. Great video and ads no issue here .
I remember the nights with 65-75k on the wagon in unfamiliar territory 😂 flatbed. Pa rollin 18-25 mph on I80.🤦♂️Real careful upstate NY in those lake effect blizzards. The chicken house had me laughing…. Done the ole switch the lights off and ride by back in the 70s 80s 😂. Cow hides on my flat one time in summer… lots of juice 😳Great vids.
Sure did like driving them cabovers back in my days back in the 80s.
I love watching your videos. Just a little old beef farmer in Centrel Michigan.
Jax: just do your thing and Don’t let the naysayers get to you. The rest of us will keep watching and supporting you and your channel….
I hate the NASCAR thing fell through but the good news is I was introduced to your channel! Love your vids. Keep them coming.
Let the whiners whine. Comments, votes, up or down, all boost your algorithm. Unless they’re particularly vile, don’t waste your time blocking
An honest review is a valuable tool. You do you
South Pass and Wind River Canyon wish I had a nickel for every mile I hauled soda ash from Green River up to the bentonite plants in the Big Horn Basin and the Stillwater mine. You have to be prepared for South Pass in the winter, I never chained up, but did a fair amount of spinning with momentum to get over the top of some of the steep hills grossing 105, 500. Also been trapped on top because of people that don't know how to slow down and end up piling up their rig and blocking the highway.
Flashed me to”Joe Dirt”, with, “I got the poo on me…”. Yup, that’s a cattle thing.
I don’t mind the creator including a product plug, near as much as the friggin’ google, “snake oil” advertising, to cure everything from bad eyesight to cancer…
I miss hauling back in the day.
Thanks for sharing.
Hey Jax, look into a Green APU for your trucks. They'll save the life of your truck engines. Plus keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Just a thought.
I learned my lesson on that couple years ago going thru Montana and Wyoming 😅😅😅
Let it flow driver lol
Keep a good attitude Jax
The International Eagle is awesome! Does it have lockers and you can lock in both drive axles? I'm curious if you get stuck in ice/mud and how the rear end does in the snowy weather conditions there.
Some channels are doing 5 minute product review with about 10 minutes of content...*sparks* as he dances across the lilypads of fantastical new build announcements that we never see again , however most channels seem like at most 2 minutes review in 30-45 minute content. It's a misnomer to think reviews are bad and dirty. We all have the fast forward controls haha. Please don't do the Soylent Greens though, I've absolutely had it with that.
No lockers on this girl. Just the standard power divider setup. Hope all is well!
people need to "Drop the Sword"
Sitting here watching you with my wild wild west tee shirt on
The wiz is the mobile green pea lake
I had a manual clutch fan override toggle switch put in on my fld .So I can run it on the hills if I have too. Suppose to have a storm this weekend in NH heavy snow up north.Dusting to couple inches in southern NH.We usually get an april fools storm to end the season.
Hello there bud. Hope all is well.👍🙏
All good!
Just Truckn is on You Tube
Runaway ramps? My uncle was a cattle hauler, he never wanted use them.
D o you ever watched "Just Truckn" With Justn..? He drives on the southeast to Florida.
Being a owner operator myself I understand y you just took it slow on the way home penny saved is a penny earned however it is frustrating when you talk to companie drivers that say I could never drive that slow there also not the one paying the bill and I think it is a true sign of corrector when you can just say no iam not driving that fast lol
Get an Green APU so you don't have to idle. I would bet they will do a sponsorship with you. I have seen them on JustTruckin and FSC trucking youtube channels.
South Pass is probably nothing to you, but I used to drive that so may times SLC to Worland for work and never liked it at all in the winter.
It was a handful!
So the 150 mile radius will work if I am transporting livestock from Pa to Ks ????
Like when I used to haul "fresh kill". let the juices flow, eh?
Jax, some people are idiots brother👍👍👍
Go down a hill a million time too slow but only once too fast, eh?
whats iceco just seen a cover with name on it
