You can turn the pick up tube to draw from the lowest point in the paint cup. To eliminate spitting
I don't know about this new electric spray gun they have, but the old one had this giant filter built on to the end of the pickup tube inside the paint reservoir. so every time it got down to only about an inch left in the paint reservoir it would start sucking air. If this one's the same way, you just have to replace the pickup tube with just a solid tube that goes down to the bottom of the paint reservoir and it no longer has a problem.
i painted my whole car with that gun, it was so easy, like glass, screw compressors, i got same result without lugging around my big compressor
Spin the pickup tube around to the front of the can.

Turn the snorkel inside the spray bottle to the front when spraying hoods and trunks.
POSSIBLE FIX: attach a weight to the tubing inside the cup without obstructing the flow. As you tilt the cup on horizontal surface the tube should tilt also and remain submerged into the paint. It should continue to feed smoothly.
Tube is rigid.
I’ve got a similar electric sprayer and planning on painting matte military style paint with it. Being matte the low pressure should be fine. I’m crazy enough to try it on my cheap car.

I think the pickup can be relocated for whether your paint angle is up or down.
It does rotate! I'm used to spraying with PPS 2.0 cups, so I've never had a material feeding issue. The next project I'm using this on will involve an experiment to see if it can be a cheap solution.

What’s the minimum compressor size you can use with that gun?
@@3gcraftsman i dont know what the official requirements are but i use a 10 gallon, 4.3 scfm Fortress compressor with a 10-gallon side tank and i rarely need to stop and wait for it to catch up. Thicker paint needs more air, so if you thin a little, you can spray longer. You can spray very viscous paint with this unit which is why it’s awesome
Is it a great spray gun for base, clear and primer on vehicles and will make a professional look too with no orange peel.
Might be a professional finish if you're 20 feet away.

6584 activator. It was a 4:1 ratio for primer, so no reducer necessary.

We used this in the house,we sprayed the ceilings,the cabinets and the walls,...if you play with the settings on the trigger,and fiddle with the attachments and you reduce the material,it will spray very well,keep it pretty full and it won’t spit.....I definitely recommend thinning the material some

Should have lifted a hood bro, to get it more vertical rather then tilting a spray gun.

I'm poor and clothes are expensive. I also shoot full time, so I prefer the least amount of exposure to VOCs as possible.

Well first you need a hvlp gun with a compresor
No need a suit not going to the moon
