I can hardly wait until this is available. The current version works well for me, but this is so much nicer.
Pretty stoked. The Gaggiuino community is legit. Also, got to experience disco mode with shot pull. Love it!!!
I plan to live stream my pulls to a newly installed TV on the front of my house. It'll be like the NYSE ticker but with shot graphs.
My current Lego built works just fine but can’t wait to play again with the machine. You guys rock!!!
I just built my Gaggiuino and already I can't wait to upgrade to this once it's available. Sah-weeeet!

It would need some additional components or components change for sure, currently there is nothing enabling WiFi connectivity, and I also think they will drop Nextion screen as it was really a pain to deal with the small memory... other than this the rest can probably stay in 😁

Will it be possible to just show temperature as if it were a PID on the Nextion screen and a full graph on the tablet?
I'd like to have a dumb looking machine while actually be very smart.

According to the limited information available now, it will be a screen swap with the same current hardware.
You probably didn't make a mistake. It's been in development for some time and there's no ETA or official hardware yet. All indications are that the upgrade path will probably reuse a lot of the same hardware (with a screen swap of course). Just enjoy your gaggiuino for now and worry about upgrading if/when you feel like it later whenever it's available 😊
Presumably this will now use a different screen ie not Nextion? also since this will now have a WiFi connection for OTA updates how would this integrate into a current Blackpill build?

ESP32 would be an option that offers WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity...

@@myname-mz3loif you are in cybersecurity you should know how to 1) set up your network in a way that the risk would be minimal and 2) monitor the device that your worried about to see what it is actually doing
