I'm more confused a 4 year old knows what suicide means
It’s because or her parents..No illness just bad parenting
@mistyhxrizon it's an illness but why you gotta bring up gacha 😔

In rare cases of strep throat (PANDAS) it can cause your immune system to start attacking your brain. Her symptoms match almost perfectly. Edit: grammar
I think I watched more of this somewhere and they said it could be pandas
Charis Carter lol what?
Demons attacking the little girl. She need to find and seek Jesus Christ.
Yes I studied this and the symptoms in the video lined up with my research
Patrick Junior I don’t mean to be rude but there is no need to bring religion into this. Everyone has different beliefs and it’s not okay to pressure others 🙃
I love how they really tried to help the child instead of calling her a brat. I have anger issues and my family deals with it by making me even angrier so that I will be "used to it". Made me feel depressed and mentally abused. I hope this girl feels better soon.
you don't deserve that and I am sorry you deal with that. when I was in my young teens I was really angry and sad all the time. begged my mom to take me to therapy but she never did. I did grow out of my anger, but I was sad for so long and had never learned how to deal with hard things, so I ended up doing some awful things for a few years. thankfully I'm sober and much better now. idk how old you are, but if you're under 18 there are therapists who will talk to you for free. call your local health department (if you're in USA), hopefully in other countries there are similar services. or talk to your school nurse or counselor, they can probably connect you with someone to talk to as well,
your family is full of fucking idiots
Y does everyone deny discipline. Even God disciplines. U hv to love yourself too (parents) not j others and by showing that u can help get the message across that the child is not a God to b worshipped at the cost of the safety or self of others and that the only option is to hv humanity towards others. Love is not hard to grasp for the child either. Being ill doesn't excuse anyone from being ruthless towards innocent loving beings (the parents) with no accountability.
I am mentally abused too, I was also blamed for everything. I don't know what is my parents problem but life is hard
I might have adhd or autism . Back then , I threw bad mental meltdowns and tantrums , what made it worse is that someone was always recording me..
It’s still in my photos.
I am so happy she was diagnosed!
My 7 year old suddenly woke up like a different kid.
He was diagnosed with PANS/PANDAS. 30 days of antibiotics and OCD meds and I have my baby back.
Parents if your kiddo suddenly changes overnight. You don’t recognize them push the doctors to find the cause. Many doctors don’t know of or even believe this is real.
THIS IS VERY REAL. Don’t stop until you find a doctor that can help your kid.
I wouldn’t have believed it had we not lived it.
May God’s grace lead you to doctors who can help.
Antibiotics are a cause of this and so are vaccines
My sister has pandas. She was also "diagnosed" around 7 years old. She is now a teenager and still deals with symptoms but has grown so much now that we know what she is.
yk, you're not gonna believe me when i say...I actually knew Alexia from a special ed school i went to...She lived in my town!
You make a great point on noticing behavior changes because I think a lot of people from the outside would (understandably but incorrectly) assume this was just the child’s behavior and she needed some different parenting techniques but if your child is having any kind of erratic or sudden change in behavior, there’s probably an underlying cause that can’t just be explained away as a “behavior problem.” This would be so scary as a parent, especially the suicidal thoughts in such a young child. I’m glad at least that videos like this can succeed in bringing some awareness.

Years of seizures hospital mental illness. Big hug hope they get her positive results.

The behavior is alarming because you can easily tell that this isn't a personality issue. The first worry you have is a behavior altering medical issue (like a tumor or chemical imbalance). It doesn't always have to be a trauma that causes something like this. This is a case where you have to bypass the behavior to find the issue instead of being reactive to it.
If a person isn't what they say and do, then what are they? May as well just release all 7 million prisoners in this country. After all, "it's not their fault."

As somebody who suffered from volatility as a kid due to a chemical imbalance in my brain and autistic traits, my heart goes out to Alexia. I was compared to Jekyll and Hyde myself as well. Chances are she can barely help her behavior and it's scary for her too.
And the worst part is in my opinion, people would expect the mother to be able to handle her because she is a special needs teacher, but the biggest difference is, after a hard day at work she could go home to her well-behaved, neurotypical children. She had a break. It is a completely different story when you are dealing with it 24/7. As someone who worked in a care facility who dealt with behaviors, it is unbelievably frustrating to handle destructive and violent behaviors and what gets me through those shifts with my head on straight was knowing I could go home and decompress. I feel sooo bad for that mother.

I am a clinical social worker and specialize in OCD. We will occasionally get kids with PANDAS. Some insurances won't recognize the disorder and so won't pay for the very expensive treatment. Therefore, some families have to go without the treatment their child desperately needs or go into debt because the goal for insurance companies is to figure out ways to not have to pay for services.

@@MelodyToonie Yeah. People call themselves good and understanding while rather being judgemental and delusional as much as possible to the reality of things.
Hypocrisy kills humanity slowly. Everybody these days just cares about taking advantage of others' weakness.
It’s so lucky that she has such loving and supportive parents, one of them being a special needs teacher. Many kids like this are just labelled as brats and written off by their parents and teachers and locked away in institutions or care facilities for mentally unstable kids and kept on cocktails of medications to “zombify” them.
I’m absolutely blown away by the sheer empathy and maturity in the family, the sister didn’t blame her and suspected something had happened to her brain and the mother even wondered if it was something she had done wrong. Many parents couldn’t even face considering the possibility of a child acting out somehow being due to their own wrongdoing! The world would be an infinitely better place if more people had the same maturity, kindness and empathy as Alexia’s family.

She almost looked like the exorcist movie character. Extremely disturbing and I hope this family gets help for this beautiful little girl.
If this girl was a boy you wouldn’t say this. „Beautiful little boy.“
I was like this as a kid. It terrifies me to think that I ever was this bad. I was dealing with a mother who had NPD as well as lashing out from meltdowns and sensory overload ( I am Autistic but only just discovered this at 28). A large factor in my bad behavior was dealing with my mother; she was cold, uncaring, and to this day puts her desires above the health and will being of her children. I feel for this little girl and I hope she gets the helps she needs. It often unfortunately is the parents that cause their kids to lash out. This little girl likely is not having all of her needs met.
When her head twists 360 degrees and she starts floating 6ft above the bed...ya know you gotta problem.
9 days only? She needs a month or more .... plus I still say she needs an exorcist...I'm not kidding at all.

My husband works 60-70 hours a week, and has to travel to different sites around the southeast. He calls his kids everyday, multiple times a day. He calls me to ask how I'm doing and ask about how the kids are, ask how it was getting them ready for school, did they eat breakfast ok, and after he gets back to the hotel he calls and talks to us all again. He plays online games with the older 2 before bed while talking with them on video chat. Friday night, he gets home as fast as he can, showers, and gives every second of his weekend to the kids. He even leaves 3am monday morning rather than sunday night (and stay in a hotel) because the kids want him there for bedtime. It irritates me that the dad's like "i don't have the time to talk to you everyday..." After watching Supernanny, i noticed dads often check out when kids behavior gets hard and they use their job as an excuse. You don't work so much that you don't have the time to know what's going on with your kids and to be a partner to your wife.

Sally Landrith yes she did
kly rand note this person said tried. I don't think you read that right. It's clear the child needs help, but even still....she needs to be disciplined
I know it wasn’t a murder, I’m just exaggerating.
kly rand you know, all I said was discipline. Chill. U said abuse, I didn't. Read. Discipline can vary due to the types of parents. It can pretty much be giving a stern and strong command. Like I said, yes she needs help and I am glad she did, but also trying to set discipline (it doesn't have to be spanking. It's whatever works for the child) DOES help the child get a slight understanding of what's right and wrong. Also I advise you to not call someone ignorant and uneducated for a simple thought. It doesn't make you very worthy of respect when you're in an argument. If she did not have a mental issue, I would spank her. Abuse also means hitting your child regularly out of no reason. Spanking is something to teach the child of what is wrong. No u don't just spank them, but you explain and teach what is wrong. But every kid works differently. Are we done now?

@@carolinaestrada9122 absolutely not, a full grown adult beating their child for misbehaving and calling it discipline? completely okay
This reminds me of the fact that I started showing heavy symptoms of OCD less than a month after getting bad food poisoning while on vacation. Now I'm diagnosed with OCD.
i haven't watched the next part, but i'm on the verge of tears. i'm 14 years old, and when i was 5 years old i had strep throat, leading to a terrible infection that both me and my mom had. we had large pustules on our legs, and also on my face. my mom did not like taking western medicine so my mom put bandaids over the bumps and thought we'd be fine. 5 months later they never went away so she took me to the doctor and we got antibiotics. a few weeks later my behavior totally changed. watching this video, alexia mirrored me. i have never seen someone act the same as me. the past few months my parents and i decided i have autism, and im going to get tested soon. i'm going to watch the remaining parts to see if it was possible something else...
Read "gut and psychology syndrome" by Natasha Campbell Mcbride. It talks about the link between antibiotics, autism, and gut health.
50 % of comments beating your child
50% she has brain damage
She needs behavioral corrections with a good behavioral therapist. I am one. No beating the child. She need good intervention. Special needs teachers have no training for that in particular.
I just want to know if theres a second part video to this
M ah retards an overused word used by three year olds when they need a nap
@Gardenia Rosas wouldnt explain such a drastic change while she was kept home from being sick
Slap the fuck out here
She does not look 4 she looks about 8
She’s taller than my 9 year old sister it looks 🤣🤣
She is 8, it shows her birthday at the beginning of the video as being in 2010. Not sure where you got 4 from, lol
Jamie Taylor they called her a 4 year old like 20 times in the video
Jamie Taylor: Not sure where you got 4 from, lol......As usual, most know it alls don't listen. @ 0.34 in the story simple states that she is 4 years!!!
Jerry Gaddis then why does it say 2010 at 1:05
my brother suffers from this.. and severe seizures too. all started when he was four as well, and started the same way as this girl! every day is a living hell! he's now 13 and every day is unbearable for me and my mother at home.
I feel like there are some cases where a person’s life and the lives of those around them would be better if they were institutionalised. It’s an environment where people are equipped to help them and keep themselves from harm. He’s safe in there and you’re safe outside. You can still visit him if need be.
Im a single dad of 10 year old girl who is just like this. I don’t have anyone else to help me deal with it. I work 6 nights a week on third shift. Some people don’t understand the nightmare. They don’t understand how hard it is when they get into these episodes and they just can’t seem to get themselves out. You try everything. Try staying calm, try holding or hugging, try raising your voice, try punishing, try incentivizing, etc. nothing works. Sometimes it’s over nothing. Sometimes I just need her to text her grandma quick to tell her we’re on the way. Sometimes she just needs to get dressed for school. Sometimes her phone isn’t charged. You have no idea what’s going to set them off, how long it’s going to last or how it’s gonna end. I’m so glad I’m not the only one because some days I feel so defeated. And also, my daughter is autistic and that’s why she is this way. It isn’t PANDAS.
So....strep throat damaged her brain?
Parents, treat your kids before they turn into little demons.
This time it isn't the parent tho
I get strep at least two times every month. Dang, now I'm worried for myself. Especially since I am allergic to the normal medicine they use
Sukeban Haven STFU! Out of their control and their child's , way to be a twat!
Oh sheet. My whole family is gonna turn into demons....
@@hannahnikkel1739 gaah!! I got strept throat constantly as a kid! My doctor said I'd "grow out of it" and sure enough around 21 i started just not getting sick much at all anymore. I still dont really. Not severe freaking strept! But now I'm worried because I do kinda freak out and stress alot of times. My emotions are hard for me to control sometimes 😰
Video: This little girl was a normal, well-behaved child but contracted an illness that damaged her brain.

Edit: It's been a while since I checked this but I'll just say to all the people who say "white people are too nice" or "she would never act like this around a black/Mexican/Asian family" are wrong in many ways.
There *are* white people who beat their kids, they're called rednecks and I was raised by them.
And I was beaten with a belt but it never taught me good behavior or respect, it taught me fear and discipline and it definitely affected me negatively.
There were even times where I didn't know why I was punished and expected to know but it was never explained to me.
And stop bringing race into issues like this.
Whenever I see the "[insert minority race] beat their kids" argument, it doesn't make me change my mind because, like I said before, all races have beaten their kids and second; all your argument does is tell me that minorities are abusive towards children.
What kind of argument is that? Are you seriously trying to turn everyone into a racist with this?
True
Use the belt
She just needs to learn how to behave

Even though Alexia got better and grew out of PANDAS and once again went back to the happy and kind kid she always was. She stilled had long term affects of PANDAS. she has permanent cognitive damage but she is doing fine and is on no medication.
can I ask where you found this info? i've been looking everywehre but the last articles are from 2018
My gosh, she’s as old as me now…I can’t imagine how she must feel in her teen years.
I feel bad the mom had to document this to get her husband to believe her.
He believed her, he just never really knew how bad it actually was until he saw it. There's only so much verbal descriptions can do.
Not surprised. They prob fought over it, my husband would’ve done the exact same thing

As someone who had a few strep throats when I was really young I remember I got one so bad I had to be hospitalized and given a shot and specifically after that one is when my painful OCD/ADHD journey started. It changed my brain pattern and way of thinking. Not only till 2 years ago did I get therapy because of mental health stigma in my family and unfortunately i suffered all those years alone. I was reading up how there’s a connection between brain function and adolescent strep throat. I now have autoimmune issues (possible disease) and ever since then suffered a lot of trauma and anxiety over the years. My OCD is now manageable by 95% but i think I couldve curved a lot of stress and pain if I had known much sooner and gotten the proper help. This poor girl needed evaluation preferably brain scans and professional treatment.
imagine it being a 6ft 300+lbs 16 year old boy with this same behavior.

Hopefully Alexia is in therapy and getting the treatment that she needs to live a more normal life again

Update on Alexia’s story: Alexia was successfully diagnosed with PANDAS. PANDAS is a disorder that causes the immune system to attack the brain whenever you get infections, leading to irrational, erratic behaviour (sometimes also physical symptoms such as seizures, but this didn’t happen in Alexia’s case), and is initially specifically triggered by strep bacteria. Source: czcams.com/video/lGNH2d_9MWM/video.html
For a while, she got the right antibiotics which got her back to normal. But soon the antibiotics stopped working, so she’s now having other symptoms such as hallucinations, hearing voices, and suicidal thoughts.
Does that mean there is no long term treatment? Constant medication changes maybe.
That's so sad, but at the same time it's good that she's now properly diagnosed.
Thanks for that update, yumbunny256. That's a condition that I haven't heard of before, good info!
