Around the time Savannah Fulkerson turned 4, she became unable to spend any length of time outdoors. “We’d be outside about 20 minutes or so … she’d say, ‘I burn!’” recalled Savannah’s mother Andrea Fulkerson. Fulkerson remembers Savannah in so much pain she had “uncontrollable screaming like she got hit by a car.”
5 years of doctors blowing them off when all she needed was a simple blood test. Gotta love our healthcare system
That disorder is quite difficult to diagnose, its not the doctors fault.

I went to school with a girl who’s whole family wore all black and carried umbrellas outside. Everyone always said she was allergic to the sun. I always wanted to talk to her but didn’t want to be rude or bother her. She was beautiful but very pale. I think about her a lot and wonder what that was all about

Hi, friend, don't know if this will help her, but I once read in a health book somewhere that allergies can be caused by toxins backed up in the liver. Health food stores may carry a liver cleanse product for her to try. Do your research. God bless. RR

This reminds me of my neighbors grandad he was a farmer and he had to cover up like it was winter on the farm and my neighbor said that his skin would be really red when ever he came back. So knowing that these people are the same and shes brave enough to continue in the light like my neighbors grandfather makes me respect all of them for being so brave.

Maybe they were worried and they took a video for the doctor to see how she reacts instead of putting her through the pain again for the doctor.
They do that because the reaction to pains makes medical diagnoses easier, and even more identifiable to individuals that may be suffering.
It's also a good way to emphasize.
