I wish the browns were actually good those years Cribbs was there. He deserved to be in the playoffs
I used to live in Cleveland and his daughter went to my elementary school. Great guy. He said when we went to the browns game in Miami in 2010 he would come see me, and after the game, he ran all the way from midfield to the stands to come say hi to me and he gave me his gloves. Such an awesome dude.
I guess his last name explains why he always takes it to the crib
For years and years, we relied on Cribbs and Dawson winning us games.

I remember how the Mangini offense was rolling at that time. They won their last 4 games. They had to screw it all up by bringing in Holgrem the next year and his 'west coast offense' disaster. It was all downhill from there.

Growing up as a young boy in the 70's you rooted for one of two teams, the Steelers or the Cowboys...just happened to pick the Steelers, and it stuck to this day.

As a Browns fan growing up in NJ, I always wanted to see Cribbs return a TD live. My dad surprised me and my brother and took us to see him live against the Ravens (last video). My dream came true and I watched Cribbs take it to the house.

It wasn’t just the returns that went all the way. I went to a Thursday night game against Pittsburgh and he was behind all of the points we scored. Negative 15 degrees. It was an amazing night, stealing a win in a terrible season. He was a hero for 5 plus years.
He should be a hall of famer.

Cribbs is the man. I used to love watching him return kicks and punts. He would glance up at the ball and then glance down again at the defensive return formation while the ball was still in the air. I think he chose his lane before he even caught the ball and that may have been one of the keys to his success.

I remember that KC vs CLE game I think Harrrison broke the franchise record for rushing yards in that game too. It was lit lol. definitely one of the best browns games I've watched.... granted that isn't saying much lol

HOF! Kick returns, punt returns, kickoff coverage, punt coverage, wildcat, receiver, running back. Cribbs did it all and did it well on some bad teams. He should be in the HOF imo.
Hester and cribbs are the best returners ive ever seen. Hester was that middle field master while cribbs was that tight rope walker outside. 2 amazing styles.

I had the pleasure of watching this guy's plays on the highlights after the games and he is like a human video game on the field. This video is the real reason why that Ravens knocked out Cribbs, he just too damn fast. If you kick it off to him or Devin Hester, it's going to the house.

I always hated how CLE would put him in the Wildcat formation and never call a pass play with him actually throwing the ball.. It almost always got stuffed as defenses knew he was running.. He had effective QB skills and should have thrown more passes making things far less predictable.
