As an Ohio native browns fan, we love Josh Cribbs. Dude is still active in community and holds a special place in our hearts. Thanks for shining the spot light on him
Flemlo is honestly one of the best CZcams’s, his sport football iq is insane
Normal Noob99 yes he is the best *CZcamss* and his *sport football* iq is insane bro
His presentation is good to
All around great got to say
For sure. The depth and context that are in his videos just elevate them to a whole other level.
His storytelling skills are thru the roof! Its like what i was supposed to do in every book report ever. But failed epically
I’m from close to Akron. Josh does guest appearances on our local fox station during the sports segments. He does alot of good for the community as well. Quality human being as well as an awesome player
corey rutter Great to hear and great to know money doesn't always go to some people head
He son was on my brothers baseball team. He was a really cool guy.
Can confirm this, josh helped me with a school project
Razh 80 I think he's a good guy and he was a good player but nah
I'm actually from Akron and I can vouch for this.
Am i the only person who whenever i see the thumbnail i think “What DID happen to “so and so”
JayWright yes you are
MrBlueD3V1L great comeback 👏
@MrBlueD3V1L 250 now. Lol fucking Haters and keyboard warriors everywhere now a day.
i think that means flemlo is doing a good job
I think.. hmm I should add this to watch later...
Josh is the kind of person that the NFL needs to promote. He loves the game, the community, his team, and his family. I have never heard anything but positive words from or about him.
"Cue the Wayne!" I love when he says that! I find myself saying it along with him.
I like Flemlo, very knowledgeable and engaging.
so that’s what he’s saying
@@robertdore9592 I agree. I appreciate his passion for football and the research he puts into his videos.
Cue lil Wayne
Jay Louis 82 It’s Que*
I've always wanted to see a What happened to Marion Barber.
Max Bowen which one Sr. Jr. Or III
HIDE THE PAIN HAROLD damn I real life only know of one
Da loveshack I'm guessing it's the 3rd one, the Cowboys rb
He was just arrested for like 2nd or 3rd time..I'm pretty positive he is suffering from CTE. He has done some really weird shit unfortunately
I'm talking the 3rd. I did hear he has done some crazy stuff in the past years
Josh Cribb was basically the only bright in a very dark Cleveland Brown team for half a decade
Him and Joe Thomas.
Josh Gordon?
Him, JT, Josh Gordon when he actually played, and Phil Dawson
@@angrybusinessmankillingthe6343 True. Phil Dawson is a great kicker and he may be the best bad weather kicker ever.
@Tom Morris Jr. It's an opinion. I'm not married to it. Who's better?
Thanks for this one, Josh was an icon to an entire generation of Browns fans who were born and became adults without ever seeing a competent team. He saved his best for the Steelers which endeared himself even more. And to top all of this off he was every bit the person off the field as he was the player on it. I'll tell my grandkids about Joshua Cribbs one day.
He was a very special player. I hope he gets in the Hall of Fame. 🏈😀✌️
one of two browns jerseys that stayed relevant the last twenty years. Joe Thomas and Josh Cribbs lol. The problem with Cribbs was is that he couldn't perform at the receiver position, but the browns were so bad that they over-payed him because the fans loved him so much. But being a browns fan I still love Josh Cribbs.
Well put
Lol i have a Josh Cribbs jersey that is signed by Joe Thomas
Couldn't perform or they never had a decent QB🤔
Some teams who aren’t going anywhere hold on to popular players because they sell tickets jerseys etc even if it doesn’t make sense to pay them. Usually happens in small markets or teams that don’t have a loyal fan base (not saying Browns fans aren’t loyal)
I’ll always love Cribbs!
I'm sad that so many people have already forgotten about this dude. He was one of my fav guys to watch highlights of growing up
“Pulled a Vonte Davis and quit at halftime” 😂😂
he couldve retired as an accomplished NFL player but he did that shit 😂
@@kevinzhu6417 you become an NFL player when you make it. You become accomplished when you contribute to your teams win. Officially left as an accomplished NFL player.
One of the most exciting players to watch in all of football...
Something that isn’t talked about with him is he was also an amazing gunner on punt coverages, and led the team in special teams tackles a bunch of times in his career. The man was fearless.
Leon Washington doesn’t get talked about enough when it comes to returners imo
Isaiah Lilley I miss lil Leon
True
Him and his son came to pne of my football games and after he chatted it up with us and he is a real cool guy
There was also Dante “the human joystick” Hall.
Leon Washington and Percy Harvin were underrated returners.🔥🔥
Thank you for this video!!! Cribbs is my favorite player and was one of only 3 (Joe Thomas and Phil Dawson as the othe two) consistently good players on the team when I was growing up. Being a Browns fan is torture but this guy made it fun whenever he was on the field.
"What happened to Aaron Hernandez" I'd love to get your opinion on this
Documentary on Netflix
There's a whole documentary on Netflix
What did y’all actually think about the Docu-Series
Lol troll
😲😲I would love that to .🤙🏾🤙🏾
His return game was sick but people forget he may have been one of the best special teams tacklers during that time. Incredible two way player. Single handedly kept me watching the team every week along with Joe and Phil
Flemlo your intros are insane. You start every video by "taking it home"!!!! I love the metaphors you come up with lmao
Let’s go this was my suggestion!!!!
Mr. David nice
Suggestception
Yeah me too
William Kats III lmao
Billy Bob Thornton 🗿
Growing up as a browns fan, Cribbs was my favorite player, also he does alot for our community and i have alot of respect for the man.
He is one of my favorite players ever. That dude was so fun to watch.
First haha...but Man i wish Josh Cribbs didn't have all of those head injuries. He was definitely the man in Cleveland
Josh Cribbs will always be the man, guy was electric.
Josh Cribbs. One of my favorite all-time NFL players. Great synopsis of his football career.
We LOVED Josh here in Cleveland and at Kent State and still do. He was special.
DC native. Always proud of DCIAA players that shined. So much talent in that era. Cribs, the David Brothers (Vonte and Veron were 1st rounders. He made it out the mud and became a Cleveland legend.
Funny, I just looked up where he was originally from right before I read your comment. I'm from the Cleveland area and very close to Kent (kent is about 50 miles southeast of Cleveland). He's definitely a Northeast Ohio legend.
Hall of Famer for sure. Him and Devin Hester. Love special teams play, hopefully Matthew Slater will become a Hall of Famer too
I remember his injury. It was nice to see him play for Oakland, NYJ, and the Colts though.
My man threw up the Bill Polian picture when he said move from QB to wr lmao
Thought i was only one who caught that 😭😭😭
Lol glad people noticed.
Loved it lol
One of the best return men of all time. Was a beast in Madden, as well. I remember in one Madden they actually had him as a CB.
Respect you as a Bengal fan doing videos on Brown's players Flem. Keep up the good work bro
Your storytelling is unparalleled! I'm always drawn in and can't wait for what happens next. I'm always left fulfilled upon conclusion even with topics I wasn't necessarily interested in to begin with. I thoroughly enjoy your content and comment to extend my appreciation for its value. Tip of the cap to you Sir!
Cribbs is seriously a great dude. He makes a lot of appearances in Cleveland and does talk shows and stuff at local bars. I’ve met him a few times. Always nice and taking pictures with kids.
Glad to see someone show Cribbs some love! Much respect!
Your videos came up recommended in my feed, and I'm super happy they did. Spent the next few hours bingeing on your content and just loving what I was watching. I love the way you break things down and the lessons you try and teach through these players history with hindsight . The positive note you put on peoples stages and challenges in life is remarkable. You truly are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the great work. The best recommendation CZcams has given me in a long time.
You need to do something on Doug Williams.. kids don't know.
After you google his name, come back and give this a thumbs up so flemlo sees what's good
I haven't watched the video yet, but no one better talk trash on my man Josh. Dude was so fun as hell to watch and it gave us Browns fan something to cheer for, for quite some time.
Love from Germany 🇩🇪 really enjoy ya videos bruh
I don’t know where I will be in order so.... I’m here
You have become such a great storyteller. I absolutely love seeing that you've uploaded because I know it's going to be a great experience.
Flemlo.....great stuff sir! Always impressed with your videos!
Great upload Flemlo! Being a life long browns fan i love this! This dude was pure magic!
I have been watching CZcams videos on a regular basis for over a decade and have never liked, subscribed or commented on a video. Your channel and this video inspired me to do all three. I have huge respect for Josh Cribbs! Probably the most underrated NFL player outside of the Brown's organization! He played at such a high level and in such a dangerous role! Thank you so much for making this video about him! MAD RESPECT!!!
Killed it again FlemLo! Glad to watch a story not about someone destroying their career. Very good 👍
I will always hold him to high level of respect for using the opportunity he had to transition into a respectfully good NFL player and spokesman of the community. I remember watching him his rookie season and thought he would never make it beyond a one and done return guy, come to see his second year he started to also develop into a pretty decent receiver as well as a leader of the team and already a face of the community. My only falling off with Josh was a result of what he pulled to get fan support to back him in his "pay the man" campaign to pressure the Browns into that big dollar contract. He would later reveal on a local Cleveland radio show that at the point he was pressuring the Browns for that raise he knew his body and mind were on the downswing of his career. Pretty much even admitted then he had no business signing on with Indy as well.
I still admire Josh as he is still a member of the Cleveland community and is responsible for probably 90% of the moments I want to remember as a Browns fan in the past 20 years. Also, I guess I can't and won't blame the guy for trying to make a decent buck while ruining his body.
I actually just ran into josh a month back in downtown Cleveland! Him and his wife have a tv show in Cleveland now also!
FlemLo: What happened to Josh Cribbs?
Devin Hester showed up
😂🤣 TRUE THO
Big_boi69 duh
That’s the way I remember it
Actually the two were so crazy good at their prime. Funny though teams still kicked to Cribbs only to see him bust a long return but avoided Hester.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thank you so much for doing this vid josh cribbs is my favorite nfl player. FlemLo never disappoints!
So much fantastic information here brother! Keep it up!
A true definition of hard work paying off
Very happy to see you do a vid on Cribbs man..the guy doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His is a great story of making the most of your opportunities. Nice guy and one of my favorite Browns all time. His greatest moment may had been “The immaculate Deception “...check it out. Thanks
Josh Cribbs was one of the most exciting player I've ever seen, he could take it to the house at any moment
Played against Josh all 4 years of highschool and saw him in the Pee wees! That’s my dawg!! One of the hardest guys I’ve ever had to tackle and I was a pretty good tackler. He was really tough to take down!!! Flemlo your man bro!!!
One of the best at his position💪🏾💪🏾also wassup flem
I went to Kent State and one Saturday night, I guess Josh Cribbs was back in town and was revisiting his old college. He was at the same bar I was at, and he ended up buying shots for everyone inside. He also took photos and was a super nice guy. Such a cool memory I have.
Flemlo you make some of the best content on CZcams man. Always enjoy your videos.
As a browns fan I love Cribbs and how he's still with the team. Thanks for the vid
I really don't consume CZcams football content, but I love anyone who can tell a great story. You really tap into the human element of these players in a way that keeps me clicking the next vid. Love your work, man.
I use to play him on Madden 08 on ps2 those were the days !!
dang man. you are always killing it with the videos! for sure my favorite football and all around youtuber
My high school teammate! One of the greatest players AND greatest character guys of all time.
Of all time huh??
Last time I was this early, AB still had 35 mil guaranteed

@RajunCajun34 but this guy hasn't lost his mind and going to prison so I'm sure his life is fine compared to ab

I see him a lot, I live in the Cleveland Area. I went to high school with his daughter. He is always around the city and now has a show with his wife that is on the local news channel. I Will be sure to send him the link to the video. Great Vid, keep it up broski

Man, I done got hooked on this channel. FlemLo, the storyteller. I'm digging it brother
Hey flemlo could you do a video on daunte culpepper...
Tore his knee and drowned without Moss in Miami
@@Mr92094 yea I heard but how come there is no highlight footage like they should do a documentary on him
Pep had a cannon. Him and Payton were fighting for the MVP but of course that was the year Payton threw 50 TDs...
@@Mr92094
You made me think he actually drowned
Yes dude had it ALL 🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆
This made my day!! Cribbs was an absolute beast!!!!!!! Him and Eric Metcalf are my all time fav Browns!
Good taste. Two Dc area natives as well lol. Loved both and saw both In high school also.
@@JimBrownski That's pretty awesome man
Great video! You left out the point that he was also playing defensive coverage on special teams when the other team's notable return specialists were not. He could tackle too!
i'm tuned in because the audio is so clear fam. just started a channel so imma learn from you! I do motivation and cars with my BMW i8. fun times. you're great!!
Big up to you Flemlo, I was at work JUST YESTERDAY talking to a coworker about him too 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Josh earned his place in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully 2021 will his year.
Proud Kent State alum! This guy is indeed a legend. When he comes to town, he is King.
the 00's decade was honestly the decade of the Special Teams... I mean for real, that decade saw the best kick returners, kickers, and punters, to ever enter the league, or any league... Hester, Cribs, Vini, McAfee, we could go on couldn't we? truly was a special decade.
Great video 🔥🔥🤙🏾
Love ur channel bro!
Dam flemlo great video man
Yo you got a dope platform. Keep climbing. This is great stuff
I used to love josh cribbs when I used to watch his kick/punt returns I used to try his skills on field.
Gread vid as always! Thursday is now my favorite day just because of the what happened to vids.
The intros to your videos are always fire
Whats crazy is this is before the new kick return rules when it was a lot longer and a lot more grittier returning the ball.
Great video Josh Cribbs nothing but respect
this just popped up on my feed and I love it!! should also do a Brad Smith vid, I love these vids about return mans!!
Ay bro I love ur vids and can’t wait to see u produce more heat!
This is the first person you've made a video about that I've actually been up to date with him already!
The 2009-2010 season, Cribbs was about 85% the reason the Browns won any games. They had him returning obviously but he also was the Wildcat RB too. Mans was balling
Hiding at work watching this 😆 good material bro
I love that last line of yours.
