This was my first season of watching football. I saw the Browns and for some reason I liked their uniform and since they went 10-6, I assumed this team was legit so I became a fan that year.
So that is how a Texas boy who has no connections to Cleveland became a Browns fan.

Some people don’t realize how difficult it is to go winless. You almost have to try to do that. Statistically speaking the odds are you’ll get lucky enough to win at least once or twice by either your team having a good day or the opposing team having a bad one.

I remember as a long time Steeler fan when I watched that second matchup with the Browns it's the first and only time I felt fear going against that team. They just felt like a completely different team that year, came out of nowhere.
It's October 4th, 2020. I just watched my browns drop 49 on the cowboys and still almost blow the game in the 4th... and this is the top suggested vid on my timeline. We gone be good this year bro, hell or high water.

Derek Anderson wasn’t just a nobody. When he played for Oregon State in college he broke all the pac-10 passing records at the time. He even took the Beavers to the fiesta bowl and beat Notre Dame. His main weakness was his mobility, the fact that he couldn’t scramble to save his life but he had a canon for an arm. He’s still a legend for beaver football fans.
Apparently Cleveland is good this year apparently.
I remember the first time I saw this video 2 years ago and just wondered what it was like to be in the playoffs, and today for the first time in my life I will see the Browns play a playoff game.

Yes, but he is a diehard Browns fan. However, yes, he did f*ck up. But it is not on the likes of what Pokimane recently did. I’m comparing him to her because I went WAY harder on Pokimane. KTO does have a pass of uploading decent-good content, while Pokimane lied to her fans.
18 years. I wasn't even born yet. Today it ended. With a 24-22 victory over Pittsburgh, the Cleveland Browns go 11-5 , and are in the 2020 NFL playoffs as the 6 seed and will play Pittsburgh next week for Wild Card weekend
The Browns went on to beat the Steelers in the playoffs. Legends say that the city of Cleveland celebrated like they had won a Superbowl, because in their hearts all Browns fans know that as long as you beat Pittsburgh nothing else matters.

Derek Anderson grew up in my hometown, and ended up moving to the town eight miles down the road to play for the rival high school. Under the tutelage of Coach Sean McNabb, Derek took the team to one of their three consecutive state titles. He moved on to Oregon State University, where he played with Steven Jackson, and where they won two back-to-back bowl games, including a win over Brady Quinn's Notre Dame.
The dude had a rocket for an arm, and at 6'6 was one of that era's prototypical pocket QB's when it came to his upside. Unfortunately, he couldn't run any better than a giraffe with a leg cramp. As long as his head was in the game, and as long as he had decent blocking, he was accurate and powerful, with decent decision making skills. Once things broke down, it was hit-or-miss.
It was fun watching Derek do well that season with the Browns. While I'm no Browns fan, I was happy to see them play with some excitement. Maybe one of these days things will turn around for them again.

Was rooting for the Rams myself for the last 3-4 years (got sick of the Browns and their ways) and since the Rams began in Cleveland and gave us the NFL Championship in 1945, I decided that they'd be the team I root for. Was great to see them make it to the Super Bowl, and hoping both the Rams and Browns make it there this coming season to meet each other. There's actually a good history of these two teams playing each other for Championships since the Rams left town and Browns franchise started. Would be awesome to start that up again.
That run by Jamal Lewis at the end of this video gives me chills...beast

I have them winning the AFC North next season and this is coming from a diehard Bengals fan. Mayfield is a great leader who energizes the locker room.

ShantyIrishman I had them at 5-11 that was assuming Baker started like in week 8-9. Definitely didn’t think they’d get to 7 - I think a lot of teams underestimated them

Can u talk about the current NFL season and playoff predictions
I know you didn't ask me but here is my prediction.
AFC. Ravens upset chargers, Texans beat Colts, Chiefs barely beat Ravens, Patriots beat Texans, Patriots beat Chiefs.
NFC. Cowboys get a tough win over Seahawks, Bears beat Eagles, Rams beat Bears, Saints beat cowboys, Close game but Saints beat Rams because Jared Goff gets shut down all game.
Superbowl. Patriots aren't as complete of a team and no homefield for anyone so Saints win comfortably.
Chiefs Patriots could go either way and the Saints will still win.

Randy had no interest in the team whatsoever, and that's why he brought Butch in. Randy put way too much on Butch's plate, giving him complete control over everything. That's why things got out of control.

Chris Maxwell - Think of it this way though, if Zane Gonzalez isn’t on the team and they make the field goals to beat New Orleans and Pittsburgh, then the Browns are 2-0, and Baker Mayfield likely never sees the field and Tyrod Taylor is the starter deep into the season.

They should have just made Derek Anderson there QB. Why trade and draft Brady Quinn. They drafted Joe Thomas first. They had Kellen Winslow Jr. Braylon Edwards. They drafted Charlie Fry some years earlier then traded him. Josh Cribbs underfed Jamal Lewis who pounded rushing yards on them the past seven years. 2003 had two 200+ yards in that year. Vickers. They had talent that year. Phil Dawson at kicker. Romeo Crennel at head coach. That one magical epic year. But Anderson started getting injured.

I've watched this before, but seeing Joe Jurevicius on the Thumbnail reminded me of the sticky handed, tall WR that played on my Seahawks' first Superbowl team.
I'm not hopping on the hype train yet. They had one decent year nothing special remember last time that happened. Just like when everyone jumped on the train with the Jag's or the 2016 raiders. If they have a winning season next year then I think it can be the start of something good, but I doubt they are going to make the playoffs next year.
