Good to see someone else making Honda pioneer 700 videos - those rubbers on roof I never used and my roof never rattles - machine rattles everywhere else but not roof lol - I’ve also have removed roof about 3 months ago and use rag top - we seem to like it better - I did save hard top in storage but not sure if I will ever use again - never thought about warning for roof weight but machine is top heavy and plastic roof adds height , don’t remember but maybe 2-3 inches taller ?? Either way not a issue anymore sense took off . Well God bless and I will keep eye out for more videos

Good info, we’re still debating whether to get the roof and this was helpful. Also, love that you’re showing patriotism with the flag in your garage but when hung vertically the Union (area with stars) should be to the left according to US Flag code.
Ya I thought I could buy after market but nope! Nothing out there. Went with Honda and the dealer gave me a great discount!. Gotta buy from the dealer because they ship the GIANT box it comes in via freight, not UPS.
Every bend in the roof gives strength/rigidity. It's easy to flex a flat piece of any thin solid material back and forth. Start putting bends in it won't flex as much. That roof is weird though. It seems like the middle has the potential to collect water or other debris.
Makes sense. Never thought about added strength. I see what you mean about rain. It is in the garage 99% of the time we aren’t running it. When I inevitably DO leave it out in a shower, I guess I’ll have to run it fast enough to blow the water off.
I will have to keep an eye on that. I had mine in light rain (more of a mist) a couple of times with no issue. Realistically, without a windshield, I expect to get pretty wet if I am riding in the rain. I wonder if some cheap silicone would fix it? You shouldn't have to modify/improve a new roof, but might be an easy fix.
I got the roof before it left the dealer. Worth every penny.
You can get some rubber in sheets. No problem...

Just had mine in the rain for the first time and the 2 bolts with the front clamps leak like a faucet.
