That lightbar looks like it really blocks the best part of the view when on a trail.

    Not Fox shocks, huh?

I have not had a chance to research the different shock upgrades. I definitely think that shock upgrades are a great idea but didn't feel knowledgeable enough to recommend. I have that on my list of items to research for mine and will probably do a video then. Thanks for the comment!

Just watched your accessories video. Great job! Will most of those fit a Pioneer 1000 ? I already have a hardtop, winch and windshield. I was wondering mostly about the lights and electronics. Also, did you install dual batteries? From what I’ve read the transmission has to have the right amount of voltage to shift properly. So people normally add a 2nd battery to help with that. Great job on the add ons though. I think inside lighting is needed as well. We ride at night sometimes here in Tennessee and it’s seriously dark inside that SxS on the trail. Lol. Also, I’m not sure where you’re at in Florida but I was born and raised in Ft. Myers. Still have family there. God Bless!

The soundbar also fits great in the 1000. The rear lightbar is universal. The front light bar is for the 700 but they make one for the 1000 as well. I have never installed a 2nd battery and have not yet (2 yrs) had an issue. They are tons of fun. Here is a link to the full article with links to all the products we discuss. I have been running it for two years without issue. I probably have run it for 1.5 hours at a time at the most.

Is the windshield scratching by now? Some other posters said that

A few small scratches. I just make sure I get the windshield very wet, rinse off anything that will rinse off, and THEN wash gently with a microfiber and car wash solution. Wiping off clumps of mud/sand/clay without rinsing first is what I believes to major scratching.

Rock lights? Can you share a link to where I can get these?
Can you show how you connected the rock lights?

Do you think that light bar draws to many watts? I want to do a 50 inch on mine and the research I've done the alternator only puts out 450 watts.

How did you mount that woofer on top? What kind is it?

    • @activelifestyleinfo

I did not mention that in the video as I was a little unsure of how secure it would be. It has been there for two years now without issue but caution should be taken as it is a lot of weight over your head and if you crash or hit a really hard bump it could come loose. It is a Rockford Fosgate... amzn.to/3YrRj4B I originally just connected the back (facing the rear of the buggy) to the cross member of the roll cage with these...amzn.to/454dQGB They held it pretty well the would spin and allow the speaker to hang down on a rough road. Then I added a curtain rod holder to the front of the speaker box. I cut and painted the the curtain rod and attached it to the front cross member with one of these on each side of the rod... amzn.to/3q1Yy6u and a bolt going through both brackets and the curtain rod as seen in the video. I am no pro so take caution to ensure the installation is secure!!!
