People took the piss because of his appearance and indifferent club performances but he delivered for England - one of the few that did. Wish we had a striker like this in the current set-up, he was a goal machine.

james pasifull I wouldn’t consider the likes of Croatia, France or Uruguay as “small football nations”, he scored against them. Agree with your point though, very much underused. Could’ve scored against other bigger football nations had he been given a fairer chance.
