People forget that Shearer had a couple of serious injuries that kept him out of big chunks of a few seasons so his goal, tally could have been even higher. He could score any kind of goal, tap in,30 yarder, headers, the lot. One of the greatest, if not the greatest, English centre forward of all time.
My fave player of all time. He adapted his game after every serious injury (and he had a few) but still scored stupid amounts of goals. Without just one of those injuries and retiring a few years later he'd have smashed in excess of 50 goals for England...easy.
@@andrewjoyce9038 nothing selfish about it. He had a lot of man u arsenal and Liverpool fans saying he wasn't good enough for England so he thought fuck it. England didn't score in open play for 10 games straight without him

Where is the goal against Scotland at Euro 96? And the two against Holland at Euro 96? One against Germany at Euro 2000 is also missing

Where is the sound?
the legends
Class player and man
Same old Shearer, always scoring.
one of the few forwaeds kept scorong after 30. he does not rely on pace that much therefore hisbgame wasnt affected.
he had a strong shot thats enought if you are in a good position
He retired around or before he was 30
