My melasma is so bad I can’t stop crying. I’m taking Spirinolactone for my acne and Amitriptyline for anxiety. I feel like my melasma and hyperpigmentation are getting worse since taking these? Do either of these medications make melasma worse? Would these react badly to the peel? How long do results last? What is the full cost all together? Xx Please reply.
Hyperpigmentation can be caused by any inflammation in the body so it could be likely the medication could be triggering it. You should speak to your doctor though. Depending on where you live, depends on the cost of the peel, here in Australia, it's $1500+
Moreover the pigmentation on cheeks didn't peel off rest of the skin peeled very well .
Apart from melan pigment 130 is it possible to use any other sun block

Hello! I recently found your video and I am your new subscriber. You came as a saviour. I had my Cosmelan 1 mask in clinic and started with my Cosmelan 2 kit 48 hours later. I am on my 15th day today and see very minimal improvement in skin tone. The skin still burns and is red. It burns while cleansing my face and while applying the creams. For past two days, I have bad itching all over my face Including neck especially at night. I am quite worried and this is stressing me so much. Please let me know if I need to take break from Cosmelan 2 or what do you think I need to do. I am on a chocolate brown Indian skin tone side. Pls help
Hello and thank you, usually what you are explaining is very normal, the redness and the burning, also itchiness is normal as the skin is now recovering so will have to stop too. Do not stop with application

I am on week 10/12 of cosmelan 2 after completing my cosmelan 1 treatment. I have always had minimal shedding on my cheeks and forehead. The center of my face peeled significantly. As I have applied cosmelan 1 not a thick layer but thin layer ( does it play an important part by applying thin or thick layer ) .
After keeping it for 12 hours my face become little red and started peeling a day after.
How to wash the face after cosmelan 1 ? Do we need to apply mild soap ? Or just Luke warm water ? And wash face howmany times a day ?

The doctor never explained how much cosmelan 2 to put on after the mask. I’ve been using it for about 4 days and I’m sure I’ve been putting too much coz it usually sits as a thin mask. My face is so SORE, it feels like it’s burning and red I’m scared. It really bad when I apply moisturizer and sunscreen too it’s soooo painful. Any advice? Its literally impossible to avoid all sun for months. Im sure you can go outside sometimes. If it was that dangerous I dont think they would sell it.

I have done cosmelan once 6 months before and my pigmentation has came back should I go for it again and what mistakes I have done in first time i dont know but I want to get rid of my pigmentation as i am in my 20s and it bothers me a lot

No it is not needed please dont,
Only melan rec or hydra factor K are more than enough at that stage. After the first month you can start applying Hyaluronic Acid

It’s been 2 weeks since I did the peel. My skin is still very dry, especially around my mouth and in the last few days I’ve noticed that almost every pore on my face has a blackhead. I don’t normally have clogged pores. Is this normal? Should I do anything or will it go away on its own?
