This Macintosh SE/30 has sure picked up a lot of frequent flyer miles. Javier sent it to Joe to see if he could fix it. After a valiant attempt, Joe then sent it to Steve to see if he could fix it. Still no success, so they sent it to me.

I should have never doubted your perseverance and abilitiesto fix a dead Mac, Bruce. Well done, sir!
Well done Bruce, I knew you could do it...
And I'm glad we warmed it up for you!
😉
Thank you for posting this followup - I frequently wonder what happened to boards that don't get finished in a single stream. Excellent work!
Wow! Congratulations to both Bruce and Javier!
Congratulations Bruce.
I stayed for the entire bloody stream as you surely remember.
You must feel great.
Bruce, you're the Mensch. Patient, resourceful, thorough and sick set of tools.
Definitely a Mensch
Hey, glad it finally works! A job well done, Bruce, and a shout-out to @Joe's Computer Museum and @Mac84 for your contributions on the board as well. This is one well-traveled logic board.
Excellent and fantastic work! You should be called the Mac Pro! Thanks for sharing the update!
Just plain AWESOME! Good job Bruce!
Cap N Run! Awesome job and persistence
Amazing job Bruce! I had watched your live stream which was a great learning experience as always. Glad to see that you were able to get the 'ol beast working at last. I'm sure Joe and Steve are happy to see that.
Those repair guides are superb! Great work, so many issues, persistence paid off! Hats off to the others who worked on the board as well!
Nice! Big pat on the back for bringing it back to life :)
Your Are The Magic Man Bruce
Incredible Bruce!
Great job Bruce, showing the Americans how it’s done.
It (mostly) works again!
Well done Sir 🙂
Another one saved!
Man that was quite the stream the other night. I didn’t know what would have been next, but it’s great to know it was mostly done after that!
So here’s a question for you, I had recapped my own SE/30 and everything seem to works fine when it’s running. But if I shut it down the clock stops advancing, and that’s with a good PRAM battery installed. It’s not like it forgets the time and date because if I boot it again after a week, the clock continues to run from the time I last shut it down. So it appears the battery is keeping the date and time, but the RTC seems to be on pause after shutdown
Amazing 👌
well done brucey boy
F@!$%kin COOOOL!
I was just watching one of your trace repair videos, and was wondering if one can replace a damaged ribbon connector, between two circuit boards with wire traces?
I have an old Yamaha keyboard with a damaged ribbon. Is it safe to bridge with wire?
Now, who wants to do my battery bombed one? it's uglee....
