the thing with Sam or Dean dying on Supernatural as sad as the "death" was it didn't have as much of an impact (atleast to me) cause you knew it wasn't permanent that they'd be alive again by atleast the next episode....so while Jake "killing" Sam & seeing Dean's reaction was horrible, to me it would've been more heartbreaking if Sam actually was dead, he wasn't coming back....then it would've been like "OMG wtf??!!" and Derek's death on Grey's was just stupid, I'm sorry but why the hell would you go to turn around in your car & instead of completing the turn instead leave your car across both lanes just to answer your damn cell...let the thing ring who cares or atleast wait until you aren't sitting across both lanes regardless of whether you didn't see any other cars coming!!! Derek was smarter than that, it was almost like Shonda was mad or something and wanted the characters death to essentially be due to stupidity, it's like "you pissed me off so now you're gonna die a fool's death haha" smh
Couldn't have said it better! If he at least was at the intersection, hit by a truck that ignored red/give way sign or had sudden brake malfunction or something ... but like this, in the middle of nowhere, stopping right in the middle of U-turn? I have my personal list of categorised cinematic deaths. 6. Fatalities in horrors - the least impactful, they just WILL happen and that's that. 5. "Seriously, dude???" - Deaths 100% cause by stupidity, unnecesary and utterly avoidable. 4. Supernatural causes in SciFi - sad, but sort of 'not real' and have impact on the 1st watch only. 3. Uncurable illness - absolute heartbreakers, (Dr Mark Greene (ER), Lady Sybil (Downton Abbey), just to name a couple) no matter how many times I rewatch. 2. Tragic accidents/murders - absolute heart stoppers (Matthew (Downton), Melendez (Good Doctor), Lucy Knight (ER), the OMG, pls pls no! death of Lexie Grey (GA) and many, many others 1. "Daf did I just watch?" To shocking to even react/later name the reaction (Shireen, all Red Wedding deaths, Hodor (Game of Thrones), some fatalities in The Walking Dead) Derek's death, while heartbreaking, is definitely in the "Seriously, dude???" category.

George ,Lexie and McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy
the thing with Sam or Dean dying on Supernatural as sad as the "death" was it didn't have as much of an impact (atleast to me) cause you knew it wasn't permanent that they'd be alive again by atleast the next episode....so while Jake "killing" Sam & seeing Dean's reaction was horrible, to me it would've been more heartbreaking if Sam actually was dead, he wasn't coming back....then it would've been like "OMG wtf??!!" and Derek's death on Grey's was just stupid, I'm sorry but why the hell would you go to turn around in your car & instead of completing the turn instead leave your car across both lanes just to answer your damn cell...let the thing ring who cares or atleast wait until you aren't sitting across both lanes regardless of whether you didn't see any other cars coming!!!
2. Tragic accidents/murders - absolute heart stoppers (Matthew (Downton), Melendez (Good Doctor), Lucy Knight (ER), the OMG, pls pls no! death of Lexie Grey (GA) and many, many others
1. "Daf did I just watch?" To shocking to even react/later name the reaction (Shireen, all Red Wedding deaths, Hodor (Game of Thrones), some fatalities in The Walking Dead)
Derek's death, while heartbreaking, is definitely in the "Seriously, dude???" category.
@@GosieKin - agree 100%, it was just so needless, nevermind the fact that Derek was a world-renowned neuro surgeon, his name was known around the globe yet no one at that hospital knew who he was until after, esp. that neuro guy who took forever to get there, he tells meredith how much he respected etc. derek yet he didn't recognize him on the table?? and lexie's death, there are just no words for that, i HATED her death, it was sooo sad :(
blast from the past but Warrick's death in CSI- to Grissom he was like a son to him- was that really 13 years ago!
Who the hell stops in the middle of the road to answer a damn phone??!!
Don't get me wrong...I loved McDreamy but COME ON!!
God everytime I see Lexi I bloody break my heart 💔💔💔💔😭😭😭 no matter what Grey's Anatomy death always breaks my heart xxxx
