      I personally thinking Cersei's death should be better. Getting knocked out by the bricks is like a Looney Tunes character's death.
      I'd rather her die:
      1. Getting burnt by Daenerys' dragon
      2. Getting killed by Arya to fullfill Arya's character arc
      3. Getting choked by Jaime's golden hand so it would fullfill Valonquar's propechy
      4. Getting killed by Arya who disguised as Jaime
      5. Getting poisoned by her favorite wine

Personally, it aggravates me that Daenerys lost so much and yet was made to be the villain in the end. She crossed the grass sea, endured sexual assault, slavery, watched her children die for an ungrateful country she saved from death…and then she’s suddenly “mad” for destroying a place that has cost her so much? The home of the people who have hunted her from birth? Who she’s been afraid of for most of her life? Shit, she was way more patient than I would’ve been. Dr. Romano was actually not hated to anyone who actually watched the show. As they got further into the character, you learn that him being an asshole is all an act and that he often used his unpleasant personality to motivate people to do better. One scene in particular that stands out is him berating Abby while she is trying to perform a procedure. He leaves and watches her from afar while she continues to struggle with the procedure. And when she finally nails it, he celebrates quietly. He was pulling for her all along.

      Yeah. Though the death was funny in that moment. Romano did so much good stuff without anyone taking notice. He was just that dick in that show. There are some characters that I hate much more than Dr. Romano. I always hated Kerry Weaver. What an selfabsorbed egotistic bitch she was. She threw Dr. Greene under the bus and even got Malucci and Chen to quit/fire. Malucci was an less then good doctor but with time and better teaching I think he could have improved a lot. But ER isn't about bad guys. It's about good people surviving this insanity what we call a normal life. I always like characters like Jerry, Malik, Lydia, Haley, Carol or Mark. I was so sad when they revealed Mark had cancer and eventually died from it. The episode "The Letter" was so painful to watch. That was some good writing and acting. Todays shows lack this type of writing or acting. Shows like Grey's Anatomy, The good Doctor, or New Amsterdam fallen for the woke agenda and are not worth watching to me. It's really a sad thing. GA started out to be good. Young doctor ends up in bed with older doctor. Talking about clichè... but as the years went past, many actors left the show and the show become unwatchable. I can life with cheesy TV, but this woke crap and LGBTwhatever isn't something I want to watch. I like the old style movies and show. Call me a dinosaur but nothing beats an afternoon watching Miami Vice reruns, playing Pacman while listening to Def Leppard. Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter. Have a good one.

      I watch every single episode of the show and Romano was manipulative, nasty and arrogant. The only reason he wanted anyone to succeed was to ensure that he could bask in reflected glory. The clip here where he is shown being his usual horrible self to the woman making his prosthetic is typical of how treated everyone around him. I have worked with people like that and they justify the behavior with the claim that they are pushing those around them to excel when the truth is that they are really sadistic monsters who enjoy torturing those around them when they are given authority.
      I still enjoy the fact that the helicopter that gave him an initial warning finally finished the job when he didn't heed it.

    You know, I must admit I was actually saddened by Dr. Romano’s death, which was reminiscent of 9/11 for me (was it reminiscent of that for any of you?). I actually came to care about him--a little--because of certain things I saw about him. He regarded Lucy like an adopted daughter (they even had a picture taken together), so when she died on his operating table after she was attacked, his reaction was exactly that of a father who couldn’t save his kid. He also fell in love with the widow Dr. Elizabeth Green--don’t tell me I’m not the only one who saw the way he looked at her! But while she liked him and respected him back, she didn’t have enough feelings for him to forge a romantic relationship with him (again sad for the lost potential; they could’ve been good for each other). So he never outright said anything, because he valued her friendship too much to risk damaging it. And as for his being “the boss from Hell”, there was a crystal clear reason for that--at least, it was crystal clear to me: he wanted his hospital and team to be the best of the best. And you don’t get that way by slacking--or smoking dope while on duty, which is what that intern was doing just before the copter crash.

    • @Grivehn
      @Grivehn Před 2 lety +8

      Probably 10 out of 10. Viserys was just an annoying incompetent wormish nobleman, his death by brutes who care not for nobility, and react badly to disrespect was obvious to come. In the end, he could even be hardly blamed for his own death, because he was just stupidly pathetic. He was merely used by Varys and Illyrio pretty much to reinstate Targaryens. Plus we knew Daenerys was the main character of that arc, we spent way more time with her, after all.
      And as a last addition, while I like the actor, he was only in Season1. By the time GoT became really big, he was long dead and forgotten. We had other characters to hate, like Joffrey, Ramsay, Ser Alliser Thorne, Littlefinger or Walder Frey. Each outclassing Viserys by a country mile as villains.

But living in exile and fearing for both his and his sister's life at a young age, while having to sell their mother's crown and necklace whom he loved deeply really f&*ked him up and drove him into madness. Did he earn his death at the hands of the dothraki? Certainly, he did as his arrogance and his pride was his undoing, but Viserys was always meant to be more sympathetic than either Joffery or Ramsey who defiantly deserved a lot worse than what they got for what they did to people.

    Agent Stahl was bad, and I believe the character was developed after an cop on Charmed, called "Inspector Sheridan" from the seventh season in 2004, six years before Agent Stahl came onto the screen. Their personalities, their body language, their obsessions with their targets, are all similar. Sheridan was blasted by a demon when she just would not leave the Charmed ones well enough alone. She assumed they were evil, then she saw true evil, which was the last thing she ever saw.
