i think the P50 is the one that jeremy clarkson review it. but if these car given a facelift and a 100cc 4 stroke engine do you guys think will it be a success for the world Now?
Like the idea of a single-seater motorised quadricycle or 4-wheeled scooter/moped-car with a luggage compartment and 500-750cc+ engine (mated to a manual or automatic gearbox), essentially a composite between an FMR Tg500 and Daihatsu Midget II.
Obviously not applicable to the Peels and other 3-wheeled Bubble Cars which would indeed be suicidal as you have said, however there is some appeal in a Kei Car engined single-seater 4-wheeled scooter/moped-car with luggage compartment. Guess the closest thing would be a single-seater equivalent of Gordon Murray's T25 prototype, albeit with 2-doors and a rear-boot along with the body being lowered and lengthened slightly to give it less of a tall-body look.
You should check out your hand signals as you have it mostly wrong I grant you hand pointing straight out of window is correct for turning right / hand and arm movement up and down for slowing down / hand moved in a anti clockwise circular motion is to indicate you are going to turn left.
I think the Peel P50 and Trident are cool. I wonder if one could use the wiring schematics from the California Commuter to give the P50 and Trident turning signals and other electrical necessities? www.canosoarus.com/03CalifCommuter/CalCom01.htm www.canosoarus.com/03CalifCommuter/Images/CalCom%20dwg8.GIF Since both have only three wheels, could they be considered a 'motorcycle'?
HowToLego That is how much a par of the originals were sold for at auction. I believe the replica's are much cheaper. www.peelengineering.com/peel-store/buy-peel Prices start at 13,000 British Pounds/20324.26 US Dollars. I believe it sold for a lot less when they made them.
Haha, the first blue one was the one, that TopGear borrowed for their episode of the Peel p50!
Oh awesome! I always love top gear trivia.
These are the absolutely Coolest cars I have ever seen.
57dogsbody and the cutest too.
I freaking love these cars. 100mpg in the 60s. Imagine what they could do with today's technology.
electric hub motor. would be more powerful, faster and less poluting.
@@SimonBauer7 Like those for electric bicycles?

Aliens.
They're coming for us.
That Nottingham guys collection must be worth a fair few grand now!
To call this a car--or even a motorcycle--is an overstatement. Its an enclosed wheelchair. ;)
DoubleMrE Since it has only three wheels could mean that it could be classified as a motorcycle (or scooter?).
Thomas Lee Mullins I believe that is so. ;)
I was always hoping that there would be a 4 stroke replica of a peel 50
Bobby Boucher would love it.
Best collection..
Actually driving alone with a pillow it looks very comfortable
I salute these guys, talk about cool. Maybe not inside the car, but you know. :)
Very nice!!
If there is a yellow version ,we got a Minion on wheels
Pl
***** I think that would be very clever. Have see through eyes (or eye, depending on the Minion) on the windshield.
😂😂
The blue one is the one used in top gear
I actually like a red peel trident.
X me è la miglior macchina mai vista

an 500-750 cc engine in a bubble car like this would be suicidal, trust me. 50 cc more than enough

Somewhat reminds me of the Jetsons for the one with the trident. I wonder if they were imspired by it.
i whant have this beatiful car BIG LIKE IT
15 miles an hour on a bicycle hitting a wall = 15 miles an hour hitting a tree with this thing, crashes are always horrific
How do people fit in that thing? Oof the dark days...

i didnt know uk hand signals were different than american ones
Probably not. He got the slowing down and turning left signals the wrong way round.
The gentleman is confused about British hand signals. Left is the rotation and slowing down is up and down. He got them the wrong way round.
James Arbuthnot yes maybe.. but as we were a camera crew from germany, we didnt notice..
現在日本ではセブンイレブンなどのデリバリーで、こういう小さい車が活躍しているけど、都心の宅急便配達はなんと人力車にまで退化した。
