I appreciate the tips. We are going tomorrow and you gave great advice. We live 1 hour away and I finally have free time to go and I'm going to use the tips you mentioned.
Glad to help! Good luck and report back 👍
“ dude what are you talking about about it Sebastian Inlet there’s nothing secret about this place” 😂😂 well said, I’m not sure why locals act like this place isn’t popular.
😁🤙
Thanks for the video my friend. I lived in Sebastian for six years back in the early 90s and Fish there all the time. I’m headed back up in May to do some snook Fishing. Thanks for all the tips and the refresher. What month of the year was that you filmed it. I know the snook will heat up in the summer. Thanks again, Ernie
Right now is the perfect time to catch snook and redfish at Sebastian Inlet! May will be great as well. Good luck! 😎 I have the original date posted on the video description.
My friend and I were on the north jetty today from noon to 3pm. Sadly we didn't get anything. We used fresh shrimp. That's just the way it goes. Enjoy your videos KO!!!!
Yes my brother. It's either on or off! That's Sebastián inlet for you 😁thanks for watching 👍
Just found you site and really enjoy it. Thanks for the helpful information you provide. My wife and I live locally and decided to start recreational fishing in our retirement. Learning the different setups for fishing in different locations is a great help. Thanks.
I'm glad to hear! 😎 Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
Thanks from Michigan coming down in March
😎👍
Thank you for the video love that place.
Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
Great video, I am planning on coming down to Sebastian and good to know what to actually expect. Keep up the good work.
Good luck! Thanks for watching 👍
Love this video man! I'm from PA and visit FL few times a year and recently started going to Sebastian Inlet. I have a lot to learn and time to put in. Only caught a snook one time, out of trial and error using a bucktail. Keep doing you with the videos and forget the haters. This was very informative for me!
Glad to hear that! That's the purpose of this video exactly! Thanks for watching 👍
@FishingFloridaWithKO can't wait to be back soon. I definitely learned a lot of ugly, got snagged many times. I'm not giving up though. Looks like I'll be giving that jig head with artfiicial shrimp a try. I like the challenge of learning artificial. Subscribed 😉
@@badboydneon thanks for watching and subscribing my brother 😎 👍
Love your videos! I am at the inlet couple times a week. And north jetty is always full.
Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍 😎
Great video! Love the Inlet! I usually fish south side further down by the rocks. That north jetty is too crowded and people always crossing lines and tangles. Been catching a lot of mangroves and muttons on greenies lately. Great fishing this time of year!
Thanks! Yes! I also go to South side lately. Much better. Check out my latest videos there. Just got a nice keeper snook on pinfish. Fish ON! 🤙
great video!!! Allot of explanations on location and rigs. Thank you
Glad to help my brother 😎 thanks for watching 👍
thanks for the video bro! Hey you got a keeper lady fish ! yay!
😂 I didn't fish that day at all.. 😁 Just wanted to make the video and observe 👍😎
forget about the keyboard warriors who get mad at you, you are helping newbies and your videos are great! Thank you for contributing to the hobby and lifestyle.
I'm not worry about it 😁it's almost funny to see people complain that I give away the spot 😂 tkanks for watching 👍
We're not keyboard warriors, we're people who have learned to fish the area by putting our time and we don't want people to negatively affect the experience for everybody. He doesn't even show how to get it truly done, so you'll have clueless entitled visitors crossing lines with everyone and making people who worked for their fish lose their fish
Crazy how people get mad at others sharing the same public space. If you don’t like it then don’t live life. Life is all about sharing every inch of land and water with humanity.
@@Julianuribe23 I don't know how? Here you go again my brother. Here is an another message from one of my subscribers! You really need to watch all my videos before judging me. That's ignorance! Don't be that person! Be better please. Be good!
Here is the message I got!... "As someone who lives in Indialantic, you can only imagine how
valuable I find your videos. Virtually everything I know about fishing
the River or the surf, I learned from you and a couple of other
CZcamsrs. I usually follow your lead and it works out well. I really
appreciate you taking the time and giving us an insight to what
you use and where you fish. Your enthusiasm is infectious, I can be
having the worst day ever, but as soon as I watch one of your videos
and use that laughing everything is okay. So from a fellow Brevard
resident, thanks for everything you do it is really appreciated and has
benefited me quite a bit. Hope to see you out there my friend! "
There you go my brother! Don't hate.. Choose love and positive vibes instead! Don't be bitter! Trust me, it's so nice to be nice! 👍
@@Therealcalmrican 😎👍❤️🙏well said!
I saw you recording your closing comments on the north side that day! Even saw myself in the background of your video😁. #Snagcity is right on the south side rocks! I was on the struggle bus that day and got skunked on both sides and the bridge - using mostly live shrimp and artificial DOA shrimp! I did have 3 big fish break off but it was a grind for me!
Yeah my brother.. That's Sebastian Inlet for you.. 😁 You should have said hello 😎 thanks for watching 👍
That's a very calm day
👍
Great info!
😎👍Thanks for watching
Thank you, I fish solo and am a beginner. Been to Sebastion a few times with zero success. Gonna try tomorrow after watching your video.
I hope it helps! Good luck! Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
Nice video I was there last week got a good snook 👍👍👍
Thanks 👍I'm still looking to get my keeper snook 😁
Ive been thinking about going down there to try again but now I know it would be just a big waste of time and money again. thank you!
Thanks for watching my brother 😎 I just wanted to help fellow anglers to have a good idea about the Sebastian Inlet Jetty fishing.
I was there about a week ago (not fishing) and the only place people were catching stuff was the bridge....lol. they move around. Good video, I hate crowds, so doubtful I'll ever fish the piers,....may try the surf one day tho
😁 It's hit or miss for sure. Thanks for watching 👍
Nice video Kaan! Great info for people that want to go there but don't know how to fish that environment.
Thanks my brother 😎 just trying to help out some anglers 👍
@Fishing Florida With KO You did well! The haters will hate and you addressed it perfectly. Locals will always gripe about their "secret spot" being exposed. Just be respectful of the other fishermen and enjoy being there!
@@donmorin5611👍
Thanks for this. Haven’t caught a thing yet but I will!
I hope it helps. 👍
Drove 2.5 hours fished all day and caught 2 blue fish all day on the troll with a 2oz spoon
@@Haydentheangler232 on a kayak?
Awesome
😎👍
Florida anglers love using bait .. NE Angler are all about plugs and lures
I personally use all lures and artificial when I'm kayak fishing! I never use bait. I only use live bait when I'm at the Sebastian Inlet! But, I also use lures like thumper shrimp, gotcha lure, and spoons.. Check out my kayak videos 🤙
How’s the north side jetty as far as snags sandy or really rocky. I Wanna throw some flair hawks off the bottom . Or would u just suggest stay in the middle of the water column?
It's all rocks! You don't want to throw anything to the bottom! Wait for the incoming tide/high tide and than work your lures. The best way is to use huge live shrimp with split shot or egg sinker depending on the current 👍good luck
No regard for the veteran local anglers, just for your own gain of growing your CZcams channel.
Respect is a big thing in our community, and people know who you are for the wrong reasons around here. You have *a lot* to learn
I respect people who respect me. I don't allow people to act like they own the place!
@@FishingFloridaWithKO ironcially you're the one acting like you own the place by doing something that has a direct effect on others for your own gain. We're just fishing minding our own business, not using it as a means to get more attention
@@Julianuribe23 it's my channel, my video, public jetty, mind your own business! I can make any video I want! Go make a comment on other 1000 videos people put out about Sebastian Inlet every day! See you next week! I'll be with Matt, Momma B fishing guide.. Come say hello! I'll be recording!
@Julianuribe23 not true my brother. How ironic you mention veterans! Read the message below! You don't even know me! Look at all my videos.. I love sharing my adventures 😎 motivates so many people! You need to look at the big picture! Don't be ignorant my brother! Here is one of the messages I got recently so you know why I do it... "Hi Kaan! I was reaching out to you on behalf of my dad, his name is Ed and is a Marine VietNam veteran who has taken a HUGE following to your surf fishing videos at Playalinda beach :) he spent his career at Kennedy Spave Center, we all grew up in Titusville and that’s been our local beach all our lives. Watching your videos has re-vamped his passion for fishing and given him a hobby again, since his retirement he’s seemed a little unhappy and searching for something to give him joy. I wanted to thank you for that and also the laughter your CZcams channel brings to us every time we watch. :) happy new year to you and your family!
This is what's all about! Not money or views my brother! See you next week 👍
@@FishingFloridaWithKO grow up. Sebastian is NOT a secret. And as a "veteran local" angler you should already have a leg up on the average tourist as you are there all the time. You aren't entitled to any special treatment because you are local. If anything you are spoiled.
Can you use top water lures in the inlet? I really want a bonito. When is the best time & location for these?
Only early in the morning before sunrise if it's calm.. Spoons, plugs, twitch lures work better. Especially thumper shrimp!
I will be done there in late June with my son what type of rod and reel and bait should we bring?
Medium rod, 4000, 5000 reel, 20 to 30lb braid line and 20 to 30lb mono or floral. #3 or #4 circle hook with split shot or egg sinker depending on the current and BIG live shrimp 🤙 good luck. Thanks for watching 👍
hadir bos mantap spot yna luar biasa bos ku seaht selalu 👍👍🤝
Yes! Sebastian Inlet is a great spot! Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
I have had zero luck there since I bought my boat, place is tuff, always ripping current when I am there, the tide apps always are off, there are Sebastian and Sebastian inlet bridge listed on the tide charts, which one is the correct one?
It's a doggy dog world for sure 😁
Tides in the inlet are 2.5 hours later than what the website says
Wow that's way off
@@saltyandsouthern Really lol wtf no wonder I get screwed every damn time, there is not an accurate tidal chart for it?
I use this www.sebastianinletcam.com/
Yes don’t worry about those haters!!
😁👍 Thanks for watching
Don't worry about the haters man, some people troll because they have nothing better to do. Anybody who fishes in the United States has heard of Sebastian Inlet! Keyboard Warriors trying to be typewriter tough guys! LMAO. The biggest problem with the inlet is though that there are far too many people. It gets real crowded and people are right on top of you, no one gives you your space, so what I do is I go a little bit north or a little bit south of the inlet.. South usually works better for me, but I have access to all the same fish without all the congestion
Yes my brother. Some of these guys thinks they own the inlet! Such a shame the way they act like.. It's a public inlet and a state park and everyone knows about the place. They act like I expose it or give away a secret spot or something! Ridiculous! All I'm trying to do is help some people who don't really know how to fish the area. That's it. It's not like I'm an expert either by any means 😁 I'm just sharing my experience with fellow anglers. Thanks for watching 👍
Now you throwing threats? Wow! Stop hating! You don't even know me! I don't care about making money. I just love what I do and share it with everyone! You can ask the local fishing guide Matt, Momma B. He is a good friend of mine and we fish together there. Don't judge people without knowing them! That's ignorance! Don't be that guy! Don't be ignorant! Don't hate! Choose peace and love! That's what God wants us to do right? That's why I fish.. For the peace and love of the sport! Do the same. Be better! Be kind!
And then the entitled newbies come and cross peoples lines... including people who have a fish on. You don't show up and do whatever you want, you put the time in and slowly learn to fish with the crowd
@@Julianuribe23 not true my brother. Look at all my videos. I really don't care about that.. I love sharing my adventures 😎 motivates so many people! You need to look at the big picture! I have a shakespeare 3500 with 15 lb. test. It's spiderwire. If I use a 30 lb. liter will that work or do I need something bigger? Thanks and great video
It all depends what you are after. If you want to catch a keeper snook, all you need is a 20lb braid to 20lb fc leader. Some people use 30lb fc as well but snook are smart. They see the line on a clear water day. So, if the water clear, use 20. Check out my last video at the Sebastian Inlet.. Caught a keeper snook and I go over the gear etc👍 thanks for watching and subscribing!

Im sorry but that place is way over rated ! I dont get it, where are all the fish?? youve gone way down there many times and I think all you caught was one keeper sheeper. and nobody else caught much either, a couple pompano big deal!!
It's sure it's hard work and less reward! But when the bite is on, it's on! You can catch nice snook and redfish! You just have to be there at the right time! 😁 Thanks for watching 👍 I miss my kayak fishing for sure though! That's my favorite fishing.. Big difference.. 500 people shoulder to shoulder at the Sebastián inlet and me and myself on my kayak 😎
@@FishingFloridaWithKO exactly! the best thing going down there is owning a bait shop! thats why I like your surf fishing videos, nice and peaceful and real fishing with just a few birds and not 500 anglers wasting their time and money! and even if you hook on, its so stressful it takes all the fun out of it and you might even get in a fight with some young punk! who needs it?

Bro I don't know what you're talking about but my crew and I wreck fish at Sebastian inlet...maybe do your time instead of side line hating. It's all about the time you put in...there is no where in the world where you wont experience a few bad trips period.
We've also hit record breaking temps this winter which threw the bite for a loop so before being disrespectful and trying to shame someone know your facts. Its been a tough bite this season and most species have been a month to two months behind on the bite compared to last year.
It’s February. Is anyone catching Spanish mackerel?
They are by 2 miles out of Port Canaveral Jetty
