    Thank you for sharing this information...it makes it a win win for everyone. I am planning a trip there in May. At 60 I am not looking to hinder anyone. I do however want to rub elbows with you young men and be a part of this wonderful experience. I wish you had broke away with a clip of an older video to give a view of people fishing the inlet so I know if I should even consider it as I am sure there are physical requirements needed to achieve a good outcome. I just found you so I am about to load up on your videos... 😂. Thanks for the knowledge and hope to see you there catching.

      Awesome I’m glad it helped you out! I’ve got plenty of videos of me racing around the inlet to stay on top of some fish. Good luck when you come out!

    Great information 👍. Relocating to the area soon. Best advice was watch the locals and learn the ropes for the conditions being fished. Fishing etiquette 101 💪

  • @maxschmidt9461
    @maxschmidt9461 Před 2 lety +2

    I would always use at least an FG knot... A PR with a 1-2 ounce sinker instead of a bobbin is the strongest, casts the best and when you hook somethin' big on way too light tackle/line...

    • @EastSideSurfFishing
      @EastSideSurfFishing Před 2 lety

      Worthless when you’re fishing a place that you’re likely to break off.

    • @WCFishin
      @WCFishin  Před 2 lety

      You’re definitely not wrong on it being the strongest but I’m gonna have to side with @eastsidefishingguide on this one. Part of fishing that inlet is breaking off, it’s always going to happen so I’d rather tie up with knots that’ll hold and are quick.

      Catching a shark at the inlet is easy. There are very few spots other than the beach to safely land one over 50 lbs
