That middle class became complacent. It was all by design. They indoctrinated us all. Until we begin to lift one another up we will fall. The banks aren’t a viable resource anymore. We have to start investing in our communities and the people who are in them. Thats how we come out of this. Otherwise, we will sit and watch as our people and neighbors die off like a fruit tree shocked by the late frost. All the blossoms will die off and no fruit will grow. This won’t be just for a season. This current environment has long term consequences. For those of us who will be going home from natural causes we will have to welcome the youth home as well before there time. Its a serious situation we’re in and I don’t think the older generation truly understands or has made an attempt to understand outside the mainstream media that does nothing but lie to the American people. Don’t wait until its too late.
Couldn't agree more. God bless.
Anything you show is wonderful! 🥰🥰🥰
Oh thank you!
Hi Kaye, I feel just like you and I'm in Kentucky. I also just got bees, so I am doing all I can to keep them productive and fed. This is their plan to cause the rain to prevent crops from being planted and to stop us from planting a garden. We just have to hold on and do the best we can at keep our plants alive. It might even mean being creative in growing. How I wish I had a high tunnel but until then I'll have to create something to grow by own groceries. Be safe.
I’m with you sister!
😆😂
I like vlog type videos where I can listen while doing my chores. Just talking about life, tips, what’s keeping you busy, thoughts on no particular topic would entertain me. I find your sweet sense of humor, humility and kindness like listening to a long time friend.
How lovey! Thank you! I was hoping to attract more to those kind of videos.
I love your gardening videos. Also cooking or healthy alternative type things
Thank you! If I had a decent kitchen I would love to make cooking videos.
I started watching because of medicinal plants. Love your content.
Thanks so much. I just took a look around and of course all the weeds are fine but a lot of what I’ve recently planted is washed out. I wish somebody would come and take this wild lettuce so I didn’t have to waste it!
Watching from Lenoir City TN. Storms are hitting here now. Not sure who u were speaking of getting richer with inside trading. Guess it doesn't matter, they (leaders) are mostly all corrupt, while we barely make it. I hate snakes. Period. Weeds are everywhere here too. Although my wild flowers are extremely beautiful here. We've planted our tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, potatoes, herbs, misquote plants, garden flowers and planting corn, okra and zucchini in a week or so. Anyway, in this messed up world, we're giving all our stresses over to God and hoping for the best. Hugs to everyone.
I believe she meant Pelosi. But she's not the only one in congress doing it, there are dozens!
Yes. Yes. Yes.
I just like listening to you. You remind me of me. I CAN STILL DO THAT!! Thank GOD sometimes I still can. Stay safe. GOD BLESS from Wisconsin
Thanks so much!!
Hello Kaye, I know you'll hang in there, so will we. I live in SW MI, our weather event on Tuesday of this week was surprising, shocking & horrendous all around us. SW MI had 7, SEVEN, tornadoes touch down, never before had we heard such a thing here. The closest ones to us caused so much damage, my son in law is still helping to clear roads, roof tops & other clean up today, Thursday. He said at one point, that there's no end in sight, it's such a mess. He actually helped a Dad to search for his 2 children Tuesday night after the tornadoes hit, how scary & to be a Dad himself, he had to have felt such empathy for this Dad. Anyway, things are weird in all areas of life & will continue to get worse in these last days. We are well & continue to pray for God's strength, healing, peace & perseverance to get through it all, so we may finish very well.
I know 100 % you are serving and sharing your purpose. Keep trusting you are on point! Even if one video does $20, trust.
I appreciate that!
Kaye all this rain is Man made to try and stop people from growing their own food, just hang in there and keep asking GOD to help us do the best we can. Love from SC . ❤🙏
😆😃
I view your videos frequently & live in Moore County,TN. We live on one our farms & am age 62 retired psychologist. Our farm is my respite from the world of negative press & bad behavior from major politicians. I worry a lot about our already great country. I have struggled in early years & lived hard to accomplish educational goals.
Gardening saves lives I’m convinced!
Blessings 💙
Hey Kaye! I enjoy watching your videos ❤ I know that viewers want to feel connected to the CZcamsrs that they watch, and I feel like that is accomplished through Q & A videos, vlogs, Day-in-the-Life type videos, tutorials (especially cooking/preserving/etc, sharing little things you love like making your tea, knitting, things like that. Just some ideas! I’ll watch, regardless 🥰❤️
Goodmorning Kaye. Enjoying this conversation with my morning coffee. 😊
Praying for you! 🙏 We all here know why the weather has been crazy, we just can't talk about it. I'd love to see a bit of everything Kaye, even current events. Maybe you could label the videos as news, gardening, medicinal, preparedness, cooking, etc. So those who don't want to hear the news, for example, and your opinions are forewarned and hopefully won't complain as I've seen some do. I'd just love to support you, and if making more videos that don't consume as much of your time will boost things, then do them!
When it looks like it’s gonna be a very wet year, I do a lot of container planting. I don’t plant as much but enough to eat and put a little back. I have found that if it turns dry I drill 3/4” holes in the bottom of the containers , set it in the garden/ground to mark the pot size on the ground then dig a hole about 8” deep. Set the pot in the hole and it will help the plants survive the dry times as the roots will grow into the soil under the pits. You have to improvise sometimes.
What a great idea. Thanks for sharing!
Guess we all feel the same way!
Hi Kaye! I'm blessed to be in Maryland where the wet weather hasn't been stormy. I enjoy watching vlog style videos, day in the life of a homesteader, etc. I love looking at your volunteer plants and of course your cats. Perhaps your views are impacted by people working outdoors more this season. Who knows? There are so many choices to make for our time. Peace and Blessings for your well being and your fur babies 🌻🐈⬛🪴🐈
Thanks so much!
You are soooo lucky to have your homestead. I live in a condo with a small patio garden. I am dreaming of what I would like to have through you. Please keep you site going. Lots of people are thinking of you.
I'm in southeast central Kentucky; it was pouring rain early this morning and the smell in the air was so metallic. It gave me a headache. I enjoy your videos so much. God bless ❤
You need to work on the state legislature in KY. Get them to do what TN did. Maybe it would spread to other states. Stay healthy and safe. God bless!
@@Latebloomershow I'm definitely going to call them
Be safe, Kaye!! Sun popping out today with the unstable air is definitely not in our favor. If it gets bad here in my county, I'll text you, so you can get prepared. Our shoe repair store has been busy today, people out in the pouring rain. Nothing planted here, ground is too wet! Sure want to get things in the ground but will wait.
It's 6:00am in Chattanooga on Thursday after storming all night. I hope you made it through the storm without too much damage, Kaye. God watch over you and protect you!
I read a comment about a week ago where this woman stated that in her area, a beekeeper lost his entire hives from a “virus”. She is in Canada and said….75 thousand (or million) of his bees are gone. My heart sank when I read that comment..what a catastrophe for him 😞
And for the bee population! Thanks for sharing that sad news. We need to know.
Hello Miss Kaye
Love your videos so don't give up!
I'm like you, a late bloomer too.
Your garden tours with your kitties are great.
You have a beautiful homestead and you are an inspiration to other late bloomers.
We have a lot to give.
Thanks again for sharing😻
Here in MA we are down to about 1 1/2 of days of full sun the rest is gloomy skies and rain
It comes same time every year. I keep a journal and compare year to year.
Kaye 💐 I will watch whatever you make....I like your cooking videos
I would love to do more cooking videos if I had a decent kitchen but the lighting is terrible and it’s so cramped it’s really hard to move a camera around in there. I’m envious when I see cooking videos of the great light and space and nice bright countertops!
@@Latebloomershow c'mon lol
Hi Kaye. I feel that your storms are being done purposely by the bad people. I love a your videos no matter what they are . My deal is I just got so tired of everything that I guess I shut down. I have been trying to get my garden in ordered before an upcoming surgery on my left hand and at 74 I have really slowed down. Please keep up your great work as we do appreciate the things that you do… you also remind me of my aunt , one of my dad’s sisters. ❤❤❤
Love your videos! I would love to watch your medicinal plant videos that you mentioned. Some CZcamsrs put their videos as a link/picture on ‘our’ upper right of the screen. You could ‘double dip’ on viewers that way.
We moved from California to Oklahoma, and we definitely have more freedoms here. There was just legislation presented to the Oklahoma Congress to request to stop the seeding the clouds that is creating these catastrophic weather patterns. Many are becoming interested.
I enjoy videos you've done where you talk and interview people❤
Yeah I used to do that a lot more when it wasn’t just me. I love doing that because everybody’s got a story.,
Great honest conversation Kaye. ❤️
how about some travel videos in your community. historical areas or pretty gardens . i also like your videos when you interview people.
as far as planting in mud….living traditions latest videotalked about that is why they switched to metal raised bed. the soil drains well and drys out between storms so they can plant earlier.
we had several weeks of rain in san diego and flooded areas. it did get very old! stay safe.
Bon dia mon petite. It was weird to see your tiara become a helmet.😂 My beauty, things are broken already. You will do well in any direction you aim. All my good juju to you.💜☮️☯️💪🌎🇺🇲
I'm watching the storm chasers + Ryan Hall + Max Velocity today. I will be praying for you, your cats, and your property. Just wanted to let you know. When I heard today that your state was a major target, I thought....I'm praying! The winds could get really bad, so make sure everything is secured. Oh, I'm also praying for no hail damage.
Thank you for your videos you are inspiring!!
You are so welcome! Thank you! Please share this channel.
Well Kaye, You've had a steep learning curve moving to TN. It's very different from CA. I've had gardens in zones 5, 6 and 7 over the years and now live and garden in the temperate rain forest of Appalachia. After 20 yrs of the rainforest, you learn that all gardening is based on the weather. I would have been planting instead of making the video during the break in the rain. I have come to use gallon milk jugs as hot kaps. Cut out the bottom, remove the lid and cut a small hole in the top of the handle. Set out the plant, cover it with jug and pin it down with a stick or metal rod through the handle. That gives you the protection you need from the storms. Then sit down and tell us what's going on from the porch or house when the rain comes. It's how gardening goes and I'm thankful I don't need to do much watering. Some years you plant between the raindrops and are thankful you have a garden. God is in charge and things are done in his time and not ours. Farmers live and die by the weather and you are experiencing that right now. Cheer up Kaye, it could be much worse. You might learn a fair bit from the veggie boys. They show how to grow out plants well between their greenhouses and field production. Yes they are a zone cooler but you'll learn the rythym of growing in four different seasons. I think you'll learn much. Hope you feel better about the garden soon enough.
Medicinal videos and current events. I love hearing your opinions. I agree with you something serious is coming.
While I don't have the time to watch them all, I love your videos. I have been enjoying the ones with Darrel, the bamboo guy. I would love to see more with him.
Through all that is happening, my faith in the Lord gets me through each day.
Connection is everything❤❤
Not a fan of snakes but having water around definitely brings them in among other creatures. Sure hope the weather calms down soon so areas hit can recover and you can finish planting. While I enjoy all your videos, I like preserving, recipes, gardening and interviews you do with other gardeners. Take your top 25 videos and determine what they have in common and see what the trend is. People are definitely anticipating something bad is coming and it's hard to know how to prepare. Hope you have a blessed week my friend..
These are some trying times, that's for sure! It's such a busy time of year in the garden too. I have trouble finding time to watch videos. As far as all the rain, to me, it's just another spring in the south. We'll be begging for rain in the dry HOT months of summer. (It always feels like gardeners are trying to swim against the current). When my countenance is down, I have less energy so I try to keep my chin up and stay close to the Word of God. I love to listen to the Prophecy Pros podcast as they are very good at current events corresponding with the scriptures. (They're on a break at the moment but will return later this month) I think people are looking for comfort in these turbulent times. Maybe you'd like to have a listen to them and some of their posted podcasts and see about a new topic for your discussion videos. Just a thought. It's easy to listen and work at the same time and I'm ALWAYS encouraged after hearing what God has to say about these end times. Do not fear, and do not be deceived is mighty good advice if you ask me. Keep putting one foot in front of the other, and keep your chin up too!
Morning Kaye, I think we are all just trying to take care of things ourselves. Between work, home, storms and everything warmer weather brings.
Hang in there and stay safe.
I would definitely bring plants undercover. We had massive hail damage last night, unfortunately Hot Springs got the tornado.
Oh gosh you are right!
We are praying for you from East Texas piney woods. We had those storms and the flooding associated just a few days ago. Many folks are now in the clean up phase. Your homestead is beautiful. My mom and I watch all of your videos. 🌷💗
I’m in Pennsylvania, I took a risk and planted most of my garden already. So far so good. Getting dreary weather but no serious storms yet.
It's all good in moderation. Here in Texas we have areas of flooding....and our water reservoirs are like 51 feet below normal in other regions.
I always love to see your lovely face and soothing voice. We all know that what is happening is because of weather manipulation and "they" are making a mess.
😆
Sunflowers along with your squash will bring wheel bugs to the fight. Do not be alarmed: Leaf foot bugs will appear first .. then the wheel bugs will wipe them out before they can gobble up your fruits. I feel ya .. views are getting hard to come by in the gardening space these days .. and having to sit indoors and watch the rain instead of shooting video isn't helping either! OO .. got some sun, going to mop the humidity sweat off of everything, hope my lens doesn't fog up, and go try to shoot some video of my Goumi bush, which is almost fully ripe today. I have to pick the berries, either way .. next week they will be gone. I think the viewers will like to watch hundreds of bright red berries come off the bush and either make their way to my belly or the dehydrator .. whichever comes first 😁
Stay safe
I have a lot of plants to get in too. And getting more this weekend. It's way too muddy to do anything. Pretty heavy rains for the last couple of days and the first round of storms today have rolled through here with winds, downpours, hail, massive rounds of lightening and power outage.
This is why... we're all becoming "preppers"...
I would follow your current events video's ,,,,,
I am relatively new to your channel, and maybe you have already covered this, but would love to see how you have been prepping for the last 3 years.
Check out this playlist for starters. Welcome! czcams.com/play/PL7KEhv2No0IAZO6QXl1iXuz3sNvBbKpSd.html
I love your videos and usually watch all of them.
Hey Kay you are a real trouper. Living where you live it is going to be a ongoing battle with pests and disease. If you are a good patriotic conservative..............I bless you.
Stay safe dear lady. I pray the weather will ease up for you.
Tonight is going to be rough. Please say a prayer. Much love.
Hope you stay safe. We are being inundated w/wea ther modifi cation (trying not to get your video tagged here. I am sure you can put this together.) I have seen videos of popular people showing where they are shoot ing electricity into the atmosphere ahead of these big storms to charge the air and causing the large tornado's and all of this mess. I live at the top of N. GA close to Chattanooga. We are not getting all the rain, but every day is cloudy. Hardly any sun anymore. Now I am enjoying the cooler spring, compared to last year which felt like you were standing in front of a blow torch, but I know our gardens need sun to produce. Mine is doing ok. I got stuff out late too and have had to plant corn 3 times just to get two full rows. Same with my okra. I only like my melons now being done and they should be out by now. Hoping to get that finished this week. I also got the greenhouse finished 16x25 high tunnel with end kits and more raised beds in there, so that took a while. I do think people are looking more at growing their own stuff and "how to" video's seam to do well. I enjoy canning and preserving video's during that time of year. God bless Kate. I will watch when I can. So busy. Take care.
Thanks so much! God bless you.
Most of the time I have search for you.
❤❤ All this rain is just poor man's fertilizer for our grass. ❤❤
Sweet william is such a beautiful flower 🌸🌸🌸 I hope you're safe. Take care 💕
Thank you! You too!
Cooking and canning preparing for the HARD times that WILL soon be here, get ready for times like the Great Depression
Glad you weathered this stormy weather. By the way, I was offline a lot last few days so missed your posts. My garden is going OK with no spotted grasshoppers and the grape is beautifully sprouted and leafing and vining out. Hooray. Also the Honeydew melons have sprouted as did the Cantaloupe but no Watermelon so far. Time will tell.
Weather really effects my mood, too much rain, not good.
Morning Kaye, greetings from new California.
Hope you and Darrell are doing ok .. super ugly winds here 7th day in a row.
Did I ever mention how much I hate wind? I do hope you can stay safe out there. The Gov. was just promoting CA tourism just yesterday!
I was thinking about your cistern problem and if you are unable to fix it you could make lemonade out of lemons and make a lovely dry brook with pebbles and rocks and plant all your medicinal “weeds”. How pretty that could be. And I love your idea of a meadow garden.
On a side note 🗒️ it is disgusting to watch what these criminals do while the rest of America struggles to pay their mortgage or rent. And yet it’s NEVER enough for them, is it? But we know there’s a day where EVERY KNEE WILL BOW. Right now I believe we all need to pray for each other and pray against the enemy. They HATE that. 🤗
And I love ❤️ all your videos.
Psalm 91:7
You know what, Kaye? One of the things I like best about you is that you are not afraid to do things. I know we should listen to those who have "been around the block," but you never know when something you take a chance on might work! If it works, it works! And seeds aren’t that expensive.
Stay safe out there this afternoon and night. Hopefully we dry out starting tomorrow.
Well, I get bored easily so enjoy channels that spread their wings into reality. So many YTber's do this so don't see why you can't talk about what is going on with the power structure? They affect every aspect of our lives and whether we can afford to buy land, seed, tools, implements and other things we need for our homesteads. To ignore this reality is beyond irresponsible.
I enjoy gardening but not exclusively. Do whatever your heart and conscience calls you to do, Kaye.
"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Proverbs 16:9
I keep this on my chalkboard in my kitchen to remind me who is in charge. 🙂
Thanks so much! Be safe!
I am in NE TN, just south of Jellico, this weather we are having is definitely having an effect on us. Praying our entire country gets a break for a while from these storms.
I admire your tenacity as a senior. Any help or ideas on surviving our 60s and 70s on the homestead?? On aging in place?
I have a job now so things are better than they were the last time I commented. I still need more hours though. My body is starting to break and I don't know if I can get a second job especially since I'll have to ride my bike to and fro to work.
What if I have to get on disability:/.
I'm sure I will heal eventually but not if I'm constantly working and riding across town.
I've never felt like this before. Even though I finally have a job suddenly my body is injured. I really think I might not be able to take much more.
I'm trapped and I'm scared.
Any of you out there who have a decent enough living cherish it and be glad you're not me.
I planted Shasta daisy and I dug them up because they multiplied ,,,,,,taking over I wish that I would have planted them somewhere else uuggghhh
Medicinal plants and the process of harvest and storing ??? thats why I came here NOT just because Kaye IS beautiful , reminds me of my own sister
Kaye, I love your videos showing the land, beautiful wild flowers, the kitties, horses, your cooking (I always write down the recipies)....I like all of your videos....I even like hearing and seeing the rain, its soothing.I also really enjoyed your videos about buttons, and what was in your cedar chest. I'm guessing, since it's planting time, people are busy with that and may not spend as much time watching. I do look forward to your videos. Blessings to you in whatever you decide. ❤😊🐱❤
Maybe cooking videos, I love the herb/plant or unknown plants and how to use them, say tinctures. Nancy from Nebraska
I am so much like you. Thank God I’m normal💕
We are so desperate for rain 🌧️🌧️

The middle class is gone It's either you're rich or poor no more in between .....rich get richer and the poor get poorer ,,,,,the government is greedy with our own money when will it end .....pray hard for a change soon most of us are struggling now ,,,,,happy gardening everyone !!!
You are a foxy lady, Kaye! 🌼
Where do you get your blouses? Do you work in them or just for video making? I'm looking to stay a bit modest outside while neighbors walk by without putting on uncomfortable under garments & boiling. Thanks 🦋 ...we are being harmed from the goon$. They're insane. Take care!!
What do you do with all that you grow? I love to see how much people need for a year etc.. how do you store it? Do you sell or share much of what you grow? Great videos
It’s true, middle class is gone, it seems there’s only rich and struggling
Kaye you have cistern will copper heads or snakes gather there?? I dont know but when you said they have a pond- does standing water work for them?? Becareful and ask around,
: )
❤❤ Do you have buttercups. ❤❤
I started to make videos about the weather. I noticed it in Spring. Flat grey, with no rain constantly. This isn't normal. This isn't due to terms rising either. Less than one degree by the end of the century - none of us will be alive to see - isn't it. it is about destroying our ability to produce our own food. Bugs will not be a choice, they and weed killer infused produce will be the ONLY option. My watch time dropped when I started sounding the alarm. So I stopped making videos in despair. We are afraid to speak though we have to. We cannot exercise our "rights" because they have infused fear into us. We are trying to get others to open their eyes, because it is the only way to save all life, not just humanity. Their prescription for a non-existent disease is what is killing everything. How much control, $$$ and power do they really need? Seems like our breath not just our existence, is too much for them to stand.
#Kennedy24
Maybe a lot of people are like me, war fatigued, news fatigued. Just taking a break and wanting to see something beautiful in this Spring season of bloom after the winter of war. It's nice to breathe once in a while and try to forget the horrors of this world for a few moments. The recharge doesn't last long, but it's necessary to keep going. I know our Blessed Hope is not much further away. I love to get lost in worship of our Savior. Have you heard this Psalms 32:7 song by Selah before? czcams.com/video/uUx2WcC9JKo/video.html
