Better help , and yeah they are, there was a bunch of controversies a while back and everyone even their biggest supporters like Philip defranco stopped promoting them & I believe he made a video explaining the reasons why. Better help completely faded away for many months, maybe even over a year, and then all of a sudden recently TMG has started promoting them and they are the only ones I am aware of now who do.
In the same vein, I find it uncool that they promote Hello Fresh because they have recently become notorious for union busting and unethical worker treatment. Unfortunately a lot of creators still promote hello fresh- they either don’t know or don’t care.
yeah, they used to have therpaists on there that weren't actually licensed and so there was a lot of patient doctor confidentiality that was violated. but they went away for a while and rebuilt themselves and I hear positive things about them now so idk
Ye there's a bunch of lowkey unethical stuff they promote, I think unknowingly. E.g. Better Health, Hello Fresh, Express VPN, etc.

I loved the more casual type humour in Dont look up, id love to see more of it in future movies. It felt refreshing to me.

It was actually quite the opposite, in an interview, DP Linus Sandgren talked about how director Adam McKay had them set up several cameras across the set, including having some hidden inside cupboards etc. This was because, while the dialogue was all scripted, the movement of each scene was dictated, in the moment, by the cast, in an effort to try and create more raw characters.
I don't know why but I prefer this set up better than being in person.
