Fuses rated for 200,000 amps at 600VAC? Holy Toledo, Batman!
That is not the fuses rating that is its safe interrupting rating, basically the current which it can open safely under a dead short condition without catastrophic failure up to 200,000A
Technically a lay person, but I've been interested in electricity and electrical distribution since I was a kid!
In my day job, I'm an IT/network technician/analyst/engineer/what-have-you working for a managed services provider. Sometimes I even do low-voltage cabling.
Is that a high leg or just and old system? I've seen a few old systems with phasing colors similar to that.
