We feel for you Jay! Boy that was a tough one. Yep, by the 8 or 9th time we pretty much all got that "it's 90% based on the Colorado ZR2 and meant to carry 9 people in and out of the fight as quickly as possible". But Jay was really trying. Jay: "Hey! this thing's got manual shifting capabilities" Steve: "Yep, "it's 90% based on the Colorado ZR2 and meant to carry ....." Jay: 'Hey, the power steering is really sweet" Steve: "Yep, "it's 90% based on the Colorado ZR2 and meant to carry ...." Jay (Internal voice): Never Mind...

Better still, the removes the 'predictability' that an enemy uses to defend against air-inserted forces, _that_ alone increases the survivability of air delivered assets...and mission success.

@@WI5EBLOOD You can airdrop gas cans easily. Batteries? lol. nevermind the waste. Not to mention ghas has about 100 times the energy density (power pr lb) as batteries do.

@@nobodynoone2500 Not sure I agree with you there. Have you ever seen an electric rig on trail? They are many times more efficient at covering ground than the most efficient diesel. The drawback is on the road at high speeds, not on trail - they are in their element there - torque is linear, and massive, you don't have parasitic parts for extra friction and you don't have to rev-up to get traction. You're not wasting energy at "idle". Compared to a gasser, they go a long ways. They're also safer, (if not pouch battery pack), and they don't leak in case of a rollover.

@@nobodynoone2500 OH, the energy density means nothing when your engine wastes up to 80% of that energy on heat alone.

@@nobodynoone2500 For long expeditions, sure, I'd use diesel. For single-day stealth missions, definitely electric. Albeit in a couple of decades batteries will be so dense, and photovoltaics so efficient, that that's also gonna change.

So this is why the EPA allowed GM to sell a diesel in the Colorado, they needed to be able to say they had a civilian version. EPA is so anti diesel manufactures sell diesel engines every where else but not in USA.

Sweet truck! Now I need to figure out how they uprated it to that power figure.
15:22 engine power 375 HP and it uses JP8!
