It will let any bullet injure a passenger and/or damage necessary and exposed parts, including the radiator, shock dampers, suspension springs, suspension control arms, and windshield. Even a minor rear fender bender will injure the rear passengers.
I've talked to the soldiers that use these. They are not intended to be in direct combat they drop these in with all of the soldier's gear they park them a kilometer away from their objective, perform the mission then efil back to the vehicles and leave. The oshkosh JLTV is the vehicle designed to be in front line combat it's built big enough to handle being armored. What the army is doing makes sense the vehiclesthat don't need armor are being made smaller and lighter the ones that do need armor are being built big big enough to handle the extra weight. That was the problem with the up armored humvees they were crap because they were never intended to have armor.
Needs a turret ring for 50/MK 19, and some side mounts for 240/249
I would love to have one for a cross country road trip but with a regular 6 cylinder turbo not the military one that uses JP-8.

They can't Air drop the Oshkosh JLTV, so they needed a lighter vehicle for airborne ops.
