This Auto Accident occurred on August 22, 2023 on VT route 279, East Bound. The details are unclear as to how many vehicles and persons were involved, and as to the welfare of all those involved. The accident shut down the entire Highway, East and West bound traffic being rerouted so as to provide clear route for the Emergency response helicopter to safely land and secure transport for at least some of those affected in the accident.
