    Slow initial fluid fill can and will spin-out and/or gall pump bushings.

    Thanks for the video..
    One other point I'd like to mention,,
    This trans holds 20 quarts completely empty with empty cooler,,,,I put 3 quarts in the converter,,I then put 14 quarts in the pan,,,then start it up and add the other 3,,,
    Also on every vehicle,,regardless of what the initial failure was,,I add a ground wire,,,I buy a 4 foot 4 guage ground wire,,about 9.00 most auto parts stores,,,,I attach it to the drivers side motor mount bolt then connect it to the drivers side negative battery connection

    Thanks for the video Dave. I recently did a 5R110W trans swap with a trans with an unknown history, replaced the front seals, reman convertor, and all was well for awhile. The front seal blew out. What are your thoughts?
