To all DIY's. I'm a retired Automatic Transmission Tech/Builder. I quit about 6 or so yrs ago. My back and lungs are toast!. I lifted these things over 30 years.,I came home smelling like mineral spirits&grease. People coming in the the shop complained about the air remember I breathed it 5 days&9 or 10 hours a day. I owned 2 shops.I started @ AAMCO in the early 70s I see several guys built their transmission and it doesn't work,Not trying to be smart but these are very COMPLICATED MACHINES!.First you don't have a clue how they work or what is broke how do you fix it IF you don't know what is wrong!?. Get a PRO!.
Do you have any information on how the planetary gears are illubricated? Everything I have read says "Splash Lubrication" which seems odd since the oil pump operates at over 300psi. I am also interested in the planet gear bearings.
I did my transmission run good for 2 days an now is slipping out if I shutdown the truck an start again engages but after 10 seconds of if I bring the rpms up it slipp

We have a 5r110w that will shift from 1 through 3 then will shift no further. Giving a solenoid code of PO752. Any suggestions?
