    Today in my 100th video on CZcams I’m going to explain the timeline of all of the Disney films when they are combined. I don’t think they are just linked together, I think there is an underlying story. This is the Disney theory.

    It just occurred to me : Walt Disney's line "It was all started by a mouse" may apply to the communication between people and animals. Think about it : Cinderella, Rescuers, Dumbo, mice talk to people! (The latter applies because Timothy whispered in the ringmasters ear)
    Is it possible that mice were the first species to master this bridge of communication?

    • @chrisrj9871

      "Mickey" means etymologically "great island",
      and "Donald" means "Drowned Elf".
      Mikey "Mouse" is a reference to "Mazi/Mizuchi" in the orient, or "Maui" in the pacific, - which is one of the sons of Atlas and Donald "Duck" is a reference to those who had to take shelter from the floodwaters. (Noah would be one of those).
      Etymology is always the way to discover true history.

    There's a problem with the theory, Lion King takes place before Hercules. Herc has Scar's pelt. The signature scar can't be a coincidence with an ancestor. Meaning Lion King predates Hercules.

    • @4dultw1thj0b
      @4dultw1thj0b Před 7 lety +18

      It couldn't have been the real Scar's pelt. His body was eaten by hyenas. Maybe it was a replica made some time after he died though?

    • @4dultw1thj0b
      @4dultw1thj0b Před 7 lety +22

      Andy Raven Chenoweth Nah, that's still too much of a coincidence. Here's what I think: Scar gets eaten, goes to the underworld, makes a deal with Hades to get his life back in exchange for defeating Hercules, gets turned the Nemean Lion, turns back to his original form when Herc beats him, and is finally turned into the pelt we see.

    Something I noticed is that Peter Pan must happen about 1½ decades before WWII because the sequel is happening during that event.
    Also, remember that Robin Hood isn't really a Disney Theory cannon because it is very clearly stated in the beginning of the film that it is an adaptation acted out by the animal kingdom. Essentially, Robin Hood could be placed inside the world of Zootopia for that reason alone.

  • @cloroxbleach8602
    @cloroxbleach8602 Před 7 lety +19

    I think in this theory: In the beginning of the Disney universe back in brother bear which took place in 10,000 BCE human and animal were basically afraid of each other. And humans realizes on magic and the environment around. Eventually by the fall of Atlantis (8000 BCE) which is all considered mythical, eventually technology starts taking place by Hercules in 600 BCE when the Greeks still believes in magic from gods, but now a little bit belief on technology too. After Aladdin (300 BCE) and Mulan (100 CE). Since Hercules, they always had an animal side kick or pet. By the dark ages (500 CE), the animals started getting influenced by human society, and they began to help mankind. Such as King Arthur and the sword of the stone, the owl helped him guide through his advanture. During Cinderella time (1300 CE) Mice helped the maid to become the best looking beauty ever. With a little help of magic, which eventually it will fade away. By 1602 CE Most of the people came to the new world. Barely any magic was used during this time period. Because people were more focus on industrialization. Beauty and the beast was the last magic source during the colonial age (1750 CE) After breaking the spell. Magic is now absent. Technology is their only goal to increase society. By modern day, The rescuers (1975 CE), Olivers Travels (1988 CE) were the time the animals actually got to fit in with society. Without the humans knowing... Then everything changed. By meet the Robinson (2007 CE) one kid decided to revolutionized the world with only technology, and it did by (2037 CE) 100 years later treasure plaenet was a happening because of so much technology, humans left the earth, and the animals somehow stayed behind. In 12,000 CE animals started making their own communities like the humans once did, Lion king happened, soon after 18,000 CE we have Robin Hood in the medieval ages. And zootopia by 23,000 CE... that's the whole timeline folks, made sense? Not even close...

    I'm pretty sure the Lion King was before Hercules... because Herc is seen posing for a painting with Scar... so maybe animals are quiet intelligent first and then they were the ones that ruined everything first.. and it was humans that then followed in their foot steps...
    I don't know.. just a thought! But this theory is mind blowing!

  • @zanemlewis96
    @zanemlewis96 Před 2 lety +1

    My theory is that Robin Hood, Chicken Little, and Zootopia actually happened alongside the rest of history, just on a different continent, which is how we would explain instances like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck interacting with humans in various movies such as The Rescuers movies, Dumbo, the Little Mermaid, and such. These genetically enhanced animals sometimes migrate off this continent and begin to interact with other human beings. Many of these animals are the size of average humans, like Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, while others are the appropriate size but can just talk to humans. Some humans have the capabilities (or magical abilities) to understand normal animals, like Snow White and Pocahontas.
    So essentially we have three classes of animals: normal animals that can't normally speak to humans unless they possess this magical gift of understanding, genetically (or magically) enhanced animals that are the normal shape and size for their regular counterparts, but can communicate with humans regularly, and disproportioned animals like Robin Hood, Chicken Little, and Zootopia, who act like humans and wear human clothing that sometimes interact with said humans but mostly just stay within their own society.

    The thing about the Lion King taking place before Hercules is true, but what if they were just advancing in that way slowly because of the presence of humans? Once the humans transitioned and abandoned the Earth, the animals could advance to the ones we see in the movies mentioned. Lion king wasn't shown after the flood.

    Meet the Robinsons actually doesn't take place in modern day. Thanks to a poster for the Jungle Book in the background of some scenes, the film takes place somewhere around the late 60's to early 70's.

    • @jesuusch
      @jesuusch Před 7 lety +3

      Jake Pulley that could just be an old poster and not necessarily the same year, like in Lilo and Stitch, Nani has a Mulan poster, but Mulan came out in 1998 and Lilo and Stitch takes place in 2002

    • @jakepulley8155
      @jakepulley8155 Před 7 lety +1

      It being an old poster doesn't explain why it's in a school stadium. That and the movie feels like something from the 60's in terms of aesthetics and the music.

      @Eszra Před 7 lety +1

      It is possible they were putting on a play, or perhaps the school was having a movie night fund raiser? Also the 30-second trailer for "Meet the Robinson's" clarifies the year is 2037 as the setting for the film's "future" scenes. "Present" scenes are assumed, by extrapolation, to be 2007.

    • @signergirl1
      @signergirl1 Před 7 lety +1

      Eszra I think that you are wrong because if you remember the movie didn't originally take place in 2037, that was the future that the Robinson's were from.... it originally took place in the 60s or 70s because that's where Luis was

    @geoffreyrichards6079 Před 6 lety +1

    While an interesting theory, there might be some things to consider addressing in this thesis.
    For instance, "Big Hero Six" evidently takes place in an alternate world where WWII never happened and San Fransico is 'San Fransokyo' after the 1906 earthquake. But in "Lilo & Stich", the city looks similar to real life and is identified by its regular name. Seems a bit confusing if you're suggesting they take place in the same continuity.
    There's also some of the inconsistencies in aesthetics. Like, the world seen in "Dumbo" appears to be much more cartoonish in both appearance and function, which doesn't seem to fit the general, more realistic-ish tone of the realities seen in most of their other films.

    I should not be encouraging this because I think they are just easter eggs. However, the data should be complete:
    Bedknobs and Broomsticks has an island of anthropomorphic animals, and humans are not allowed. ("Can't you read readin'? It says 'No peopling allowed!'")
    The Isle of Naboombu supposedly could have been Chicken Little, Zootopia, and Talespin.Also, Meet the Robinsons has posters for other movies all over the baseball diamond.Also, yes, the Substitutiary Locomotion spell has a brief cameo in a video game-themed Kim Possible.Also, Descendants 3 totally ripped off the spell from Bedknobs and Broomsticks.It is very very interesting fanfiction, but it is fanfiction.Ariel's mother was not killed by Captain Hook. Peter Pan was 1904. Ariel was before that. Jodi Benson and Margaret Kerry joke that the redheaded mermaid it is Ariel's grandmother ("fine, granny"). Pat Caroll played Ursula as a "former Shakespearian actress who sells used cars" and played Ursula as "a scorned lover" (Gross. Yeah. Sister/half sister in other tellings of the story.)You are a good storyteller, even so. They are interesting "What-if scenarios," but most things can be proven. I am so so so glad that that Tarzan is the brother of Anna and Elsa thing is finally dead. Tarzan has his own merits and lore.

    What if the animals learn of Mickey giving water to the world and try it on their own. They end up drowning almost the entire world, leading to Moana. Then Aladdin takes place, because Tamatoa might have made the cave of wonders. Also Scar's pelt is in Hercules, so Lion king happens before that.

    Wow! You have some pretty interesting insights on how anthropomorphic animals came to coincide with regular non-talking animals. I connect my theory with all other movies in the world and not just Disney movies, but my theory is that anthropomorphic animals belong to their own breed, and it's a pretty rare breed, which explains why some people react to a talking animal in shock, and other people go along with it like it's totally normal. I thought there was probably some small cities in the world where they keep fully bred anthropomorphics, and they exist with humans. That was my theory, but I like your theory too. God bless!!!

    Ok, not saying there's a problem with the theory, just the dates. Hercules is Classical Greek which was 400s BCE, not 1200. Little Mermaid was published in 1837, not the 1890s, just look at the clothes! The Disney costuming would make it even earlier than that. There's no way that Lion King could take place after the colonization of Africa, it has to be before expansive European inference on the continent. Rapunzel is also much earlier, I think 1500s. Please look at some of the other videos out there where people have examined the clothing and architecture. There's one titled "princesses sing in their own language," which gives a brief explanation of their time period. It's really very good. Again, I'm not knocking your theory, I'm only saying to reexamine the dates given in that graphic.
