Over the years, the world of Disney has gone through a wide range of settings and characters for their animated films -- but what if they were all connected? The Pixar theory has risen over the years, connecting the isolated branch of digitally animated Pixar films together like Toy Story, Cars, and Monsters Inc. -- but what if there was a connected universe in the world of traditional Disney animation? On the surface, it may seem like there’s no way a movie like The Lion King could connect with Treasure Planet -- but breaking everything down helps build a plausible universe, connected worlds, and there’s even a surprising way Wreck-It Ralph helps tie things together. By breaking down the layers we can piece together exactly how the theory fits and connect some of the greatest Disney classics of all-time.
The Disney universe of characters and worlds is clearly in its own realm. Talking animals, fairies, and wooden dolls who come to life all feel plausible because of the magic of Disney animation. Connecting these movies is no easy task -- mainly because there are so many of them. Starting with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and extending to modern-day hits like Moana or Ralph Breaks the Internet, there are dozens and dozens of movies to cover.

I have one problem with the Tarzan to Frozen theory. The characters attire/accessories. Tarzan's (the movie, not the character) characters dress in attire that of the late 1800s to early 1900s (more of late 1800s but I'm giving wiggle room) while Frozen's characters obviously dress in attire seen in the late medieval period (clearly before the 1800s or even 1700s). Furthermore, take their weaponry into account. Clayton, the antagonist of Tarzan, uses a double barrel shotgun. That style of shotgun wasn't developed until after 1887 (i literally looked it up before typing this), giving us a starting date to place Tarzan in. In Frozen, however, the guards result to using crossbows as their ranged weaponry. If they were in the same time period, it would make sense for the guards to use something a little more reliable than crossbows. Always take the smaller details into account when making theories, people.

The geography also doesn’t make sense either. If the shipwreck takes place off the coast of Norway( Where Arendelle is based off of) how did the parents manage to get washed up in Africa?

This theory has alot of wiggle room but that works in it suspension of belief aspect. This is theory is more sound than the Pixar theory

I think the Disney Theory is easier than the Pixar Theory because of the three layers. These provide a flexibility that the lineal sequence of the Pixar theory lacks. With the three layers any new Disney movie will fit and find its place, while every new Pixar movie challenges the timeline.

Omg now I get it I thought it was a prank that failed
This makes things a whole lot deeper than I expected from the Disney universe. And seeing this and making connections to House of Mouse and Kingdom Hearts almost makes so sort of sense to a degree. Though it's all just a bunch of references to get people's attention to the movies, I would be up if there was another series that brought most of the Disney property together into one big world.
I noticed that Dr Facilier's shadow could move separately which exactly was what Peter Pan's shadow could do, and the sleeping curse which Maleficent cast on Aurora was the same with Snow White's curse... I mean there is almost the same magic system so I believe most of disney classic movies are in the same world just in different countries and kingdoms

This one is better and more provable than the Pixar theory in my opinion.
The scar rug in hercules disproves the theory. The filmmakers did it for fun for them and the viewers. Cinematic universes were unheard of. But timeline wise it doesn't make sense. Lions in the plains of Africa exist before or at the same time as Greek gods
Fun fact: actually all the Greek gods do still exist, because they are gods :) (unless some of them are killed, but im sure there are still some alive)

What about both Disney and Pixar films being connected.
I think they are but maybe Disney wants them to be in 2 different universes? So you have Disney universe and you have Pixar universe and both have 3 layers, but they still connect. In Kingdom Hearts however both Disney and Pixar are in the same universe, so im not sure.
I just found a connection I don’t think anyone has ever noticed before. During the magic carpet ride they go to Greece and for a split second we see a very familiar Cupid statue. It’s the exact same one that was in Hercules!
I like to say each movie has got filmed in a different country so it'll be quite obvious that they are all connected in some way so I'm quite a fan of that then the Pixar theroy
Now you only need to talk about how Bedknobs and Broomsticks ties together the real world and the inner world with the Isle of Naboomboo!

I believed that Disney's all the movies are connected throughout each other by Frozen is connected to Tarzan, Tangled, Frozen 2,The Little Mermaid.
This theory is amazingly good, but it could be better if it connects like Pixar, marvel, Lucasfilm, and recently, Fox. Mixing Disney with fox would be meta and insane. Hopefully you can do that!

This is a very interesting theory. After the first watch through, the only big issue I see with his theory comes at 18:23. Mickey was not the first original character that Walt created. While some people might know about Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and his creation in 1927, a year before Mickey, and state he does not count because Walt Disney didn’t have continued use of the character, there is actually another character that predates both Mickey and Oswald and has been with the Disney Company since the beginning. In 1925, Walt Disney created Pete. He has been both an antagonist and a protagonist, flip flopping depending on the story.

Ariel and Hercules are also cousins of some sort and Anna and Elsa are actually cousins. Elsa and Rapunzel are twin sisters. Anna and Tarzan are brother and sister.

Problems with the Tarzan-frozen theory-
The technology is different or Arendalle is super behind technology wise.
Tarzan looks like as if it takes around the late 1800’s or early 1900’s while frozen looks like it takes place during the Middle Ages.
Does that mean that WB and disney are connected. Since Who Framed Roger Rabbit exists.

Kingdom Hearts isn’t cannon to the Disney universe. It just has Disney characters in it. If it was canon, we’d be seeing Kingdom Hearts exclusive stars like Sora and Terra in practically every film mentioned. Their stories are similar, but different.
So, The Disney Matrix is a thing to Screen Rant, but the Pixar Theory has too many loopholes.... Right....

Ooooh, boy! Where do I begin? First of all, not only do Anna and Elsa parents and Tarzan's parents look nothing alike, but the two ships didn't even sink the same way. One capsized due to a storm, the other caught fire. How do all of the live-action movies, Pixar, the MCU, the Muppets, and Star Wars fit into this? Lilo and Stitch had crossovers with Kim Possible, Recess, American Dragon Jake Long, and The Proud Family. Does that mean Disney's movies and their TV cartoons exist in the same universe? Tangled and Big Hero 6 were CGI movies, but were 2D in their respective TV series. Explain that! What about the live-action remakes of animated movies? How will Fox becoming part of Disney factor in to this?
I actually think this makes more sense than the Pixar theory. Let me know what y'all think.

Although I'm not totally buying this theory, I'm all for further investigation about how the creations are tied together. I'd like to recommend watching, or rewatching, Bedknobs and broomsticks as it's suggesting an origin or mythology of an origin of the world of Disney's anthropomorphic animals.

Me being the universe traveler i am: Wait... Its ALL in the same universe?! I BEEN VISITING THE SAME UNIVERSE (As in watched) THE WHOLR TIME?! I thought its a multiverse! Its all connected, the shipwreck, the background stories... And they even know they lived in different worlds?! HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THAT!! I'm just here, using my portal to visit a multiverse that was actually ONE universe the whole time... Well... Not ONE... I still visit non-disney universes... But seriously? Well... At least its good to know its just one single universe.

This felt more like reaching instead of it being more of a universe with a linear direct connectivity like Pixar, Star Wars, the MCU, or DC Comics.... I think all the easter eggs are just fun quirky nods and Kingdom Hearts is just a video game meant to make money off Disney and Final Fantasy fans; however, I appreciate the effort put into this video. If you want to believe in a matrix or multiverse, no one can stop you.
It could be possible that maybe The Lion King and Zootopia take place in the future where Animals overthrow mankind and become the Rulers maybe thats the reason why There are No Humans in The Lion King and Zootopia

If I do believe that ALL Pixar movies share and are in the same universe, I too DO BELIEVE that All Disney films do take place in the same universe. Including other movies like Zootopia, Robin Hood, Wreck It Ralph, etc.
