One of my all time favourite critters for dinner!! I ate tons of them when I lived in Vancouver Canada,...cheap and tasty no matter how you cook them up!! I liked just pan sauteed squid kind of like you prepared, my late Wife used to dredge them in pancake mix and fry them till crispy. Any way you cook them, they are fantastic eating!! Sorry you had to endure the cold, but if you stay long enough you get used to it, mind you anything below -40F or -40C is just plain COLD!!

several years ago I was on a white water rafting trip on the Middlefork of the Salmon River in Idaho and one of the appetizers about 2 days out was squid fixed very similarly to your method. I don't know where they got it but it was excellent. You have made my mouth water Kelly!

Great video, long ago use to catch fresh squid on cape cod, 5 gallon buckets, sell some to the charter boats, keep 20-30lbs. Nice to watch the younger folks carrying on traditions. hahaha ...we used to dive in for lobsters no outfits.....Rhode island and the cape.......you folks are spoiled in Florida. I’ll post our first cod/pollack/sea bass trip in a few weeks.

I went to school for culinary and I’m always thinking of new ways to make things and it can be tough! I give you and blueGabe props for coming up with the dishes that you guys do. I’ve been on a nonstop bender of watching all of your video’s and I enjoy ever one! One thing I have to say is I don’t understand why people put parsley in there dish while cooking, it has no flavor and it’s only real purpose is for a garnish. Anyway great video Kelly!
