Good clip for starters and basic hunting. Refreshing once again to see ya outside your norm. What until you are on foot for more than 2 days in survival mode, ( optional) ha. hunting to survive. Thats when you are living outside your body. Nothing like maintaining a psychological advantage no matter how difficult the journey in gods country. Great job! Keep it up. ! Doing great.

Kelly: girls who hunt are awesome. I've never used a tree stand. Hunting in Wyoming and Idaho is somewhat different that Florida. The best hunting is always at dawn or just before dark. Bear meat isn't that bad, you just need to make sure it is fully cooked because it can contain parasites like pigs, and it is a little greasy. If you get a deer, make sure you cut out the tenderloins right away as they will dry out if you leave them in to age. Cut them into pieces about 3/4" thick, roll in flour, salt and pepper to taste and fry the pieces in oil till brown on outside all the way around. A couple of minutes before they are finished, pour in about 1/2 cup of brandy and cover pan. Remove meat and let it rest. Mix flour and/or cornstarch with milk and add to liquid in pan. Cook it down for about 10 minutes. serve the meat with mashed potatoes with gravy over the top. Wild rice can also be used. Good luck with your hunting! Wayne
Just something to add. when I was growing up in Wyoming, you would automatically get a bear tag if you bought a deer tag or and elk tag. So if you hunted both you could actually shoot 2 black bears. I never did. you might change your mind about shooting a coyote if one takes out after your little dog. coyotes are very hard on pets if you are in an area where they inhabit! They will also move into a herd of sheep and kill many sheep in one night just for fun

It can be difficult to get the right shot without self filming, especially bow hunting. You did great getting the footage you did and nice job on waiting and not taking a risky shot! You will get one. I started hunting when I was 6 and didn't kill my first deer till I was 12. I'm 31 now and I don't know how many I've killed at this point. Just saying that the more you go the more you learn and you have a great companion to show you the ropes in BlueGabe. Keep doing what you do! You got this

We have Black Bear here in the mountains of northern Va. into West Va. Yes, ppl do eat them but it's not as common as eating deer. More ppl eat squirrel, or make rabbit stew than bear steaks. Anyway, great vid! Keep up the great works!!

Great job in holding back, and not taking a shot you were unsure of!! So many people are convinced that hunters are destroyers and shoot at anything, when in fact for the most part we are conservationists and promote good stewardship of the land. To correct you though, Bear are also game animals and are edible. I find their meat sweet and to be honest it's not my favourite, I prefer Moose and Elk. Take care, and good hunting!!
