I'm not the biggest fan of blue tack when it comes to cleaning. It might remove the wax that sits above the mesh, but at the same time it would push some of it inside the mesh. A toothpick does just fine to clean the outside of the mesh
You can just use a little rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to clean your AirPods. If you want to do a more thorough cleaning use a q-tip with alcohol on it.
The whole brush thing actually made my AirPods louder, I use to just use q tips until I seen this video and when I held the airpod next to a bright flashlight from my phone you can still see a layer of wax hidden and I used the brush now its gone. Altho I went too rough and my right airpod makes a little rattle when I tap on it, doesn't affect sound its just bothers me. Anyway thanks now I can keep my airpods for another 2 or 3 years (I was gonna get them replaced) :D
I would use an electric toothbrush to agitate the wax instead of whatever brush is being used. Faster/more effective. And for the love of all that is holy, show us the vacuum scenes 🤣

Using blue tack is a good way to get the ear wax out of the mesh as well.
I'm not the biggest fan of blue tack when it comes to cleaning. It might remove the wax that sits above the mesh, but at the same time it would push some of it inside the mesh. A toothpick does just fine to clean the outside of the mesh
