I would like to see how a / the good player plays when there is a ... not so good... team and the battle is lost after 30 seconds. Try to turn the game or stay back to make a good WN8? Sometimes you learn more from a lost battle.
Hey Dez, great video but just have a look at the shot at 3:09, the aiming circle jumps away from the point of aim straight to the cupola... it might be replay lag but it doesn't look right as at 1:14 a similar shot is made actually by Stanlock's reflexes, not whatever caused that weak spot auto aim. I don't want to call cheat with only one shot as evidence but I'm suspicious, as they turned on auto aim, went into gunner view and the reticle jumped to the cupola...
I think he has much, much more games then 22k...who knows how many accounts?! ;)

Well, he does far better than all of us on average too. Surely a 5900 purple player receives on average more heat than the other random players - not less. He also gets yoloed and focused more. Which makes the average performance even more impressive

Stanlox is amazing. I have watched him a bit. His awareness, micro-positioning and tempo are phenomenal. He makes the game look so simple.

Except I'm not a 5000+ WN8 player I'm only 2100
When I was still playing I was doing it a lot too... 1300 WN8. I was definitely pushing way too much though, and only played solo.
I quit just over a year ago but I did it too all the time and I dont think ive ever managed to get the 3k wn8 that I wanted back then haha. Somewhere around 2700 or 2800
@@remcomoerland1780 I’m honestly skeptical of such high WN8. Really am. Because tbh there’s only so much you can possibly do as a skilled player in WoT. When I see 70% win rate I start thinking platoon. Not always, but enough to drag the win rate up. Because 3 man platoon with 3 unicums I guarantee can get 90%+ win rate it’s insane.
But 5900 wn8... that’s just crazy to me. I can’t imagine him hard pushing like that all the time. Definitely has calculated and conservative gameplay. (Which tends to work better because pushing hard and sacrificing HP in hopes your teammates do something is not good in WoT)

I was surprised to see that he had full AP(standard) loadout until I saw the results and realised that type 5 has golden AP
6:20 most games are solo, Stanlox mainly plays a few platoon games on LebWa events and I guess random occasions, but majority of the time he plays solo which further makes his performance impressive.

what im seeing doesnt look like true aimbot, but it definitely looks like he's using a mod to make the autoaim more like the wheeled tanks, where you dont need to have the mouse right on top of a tank to right click

My first thought looking at like the first shot in the game seemed fucking cheaty. On the vk. Then it happened again on the 430
omg this is the dumbest community ever, first shot is the aiming changing cause he turns his hull inside sniper mode so ofc his aim circle goes wild, ever heard of "enable horizontal stabilization inside sniper mode" he uses it but the turret treverse speed cant keep up with the hull treverse speed therefore the "flick". The shot on the 430u looks weird, sure but if u had a brain and lowered the speed of the video for that moment ull see that he aims rear than up THAN THE RETICOULE catches the gun of the 430u - gets stuck there - which is totolly normal sadly, and than he shoots the gun, the shell riccochets off into the hull, than he aims out/down and the angle makes it look a bit faster, apart from that everything is totally normal.
And in case that isnt proof enough - auto-aim is only usefull for players who suck deep at aiming and dont know how to give lead and dont know weekspots, an aim-bot will move the reticoule but not affect the camera view, i.e it works kinda like autoaim but extended.
You cant see that anywhere in this video.
Furthermore aiming is not the main reason a player is better than others, their decision making/movements and understand of the situation makes players skill.

Nice game and he has some kind of six sense, where enemy will pop up and such. But boy .. he is sooo lucky with his oponent. When I play that thing, they give me more gold then in fort knox.
That's why u gave to be careful with type5. Don't be to aggressive, don't trade with hull down gold spamers.
Some kind of mod, illegal, showing points on minimap (you won't see them in the replay). But they see where the objects are destroyed (fences, trees...)

Geeeeeeeez what a replay, Dez! I see (And what most of us can learn from Stanlox) is auto aim on enemies, before you move out of cover, then choose where to put the shot. Also, some small adjustments he does on his vehicle to angle it against his enemies. He always has his tank angled against many enemy tanks. I think just at the end, he had a bad angle against the Standard B, that's it. I think most people have tunnel vision in the game, where you focus so hard on just the guy in front of you, forgetting about the rest of the enemy team, just giving HP away. I just need 25% of this guys talent/skill!

@@mcseavers if you shoot the front or back sprockets at an angle or from the side you can track and damage in one shot. Also different tanks have damagable modules in different areas (engine, fuel tanks, etc)

I don't know if it's just me but doesn't it seem a little fishy? 1:10-1:20 he aims at the VK 45.02 B and it goes from him looking at tracks to instantly locking onto the weakspot on the top of the turret and he snaps the shot and misses.

Maybe he's using AimBot, a few shots at the Gun's Crosshair swells straight to the Commander's dome or to the roof of the tower. Or it's just a bug.

Not really. It auto aims to the center of the vk, he moves his curser, then unlocks auto aim which makes the reticle jump to where he was aiming.

Well guess why they have that win rate/W8? Of course there's still a lot of skill involved, but in the end WoT is pay to win and without spamming gold you'll have a hard time being on top, no matter how good you are.

If you don't understand the game mechanics and have no experience, you'll often have bad results regardless of ammo used. But on the other hand, even the best player will struggle occasionally if they don't have gold rounds available, which makes it difficult for them to be the best player in terms of statistics. If you match two players with the same skill against each other and one of them only fires gold while the other one fires regular ammo, the gold player will win most of the time.
This specific game for example would have likely had a less impressive result if he only fired regular ammo.

I'm sure he is a great player. But I experimented 1 day playing full premium ammo in tier 8s using mostly premium tanks, so it wouldn't cost me a fortune. I am not a look at my stats guy, just an average player. Never used XVM, I think it is toxic. My WN8 on Wotlabs for day was over 4k. I am a solo player. Not a knock on him. I doubt he uses an aim mod.
WN8 is not accurate measurement of skill when you look at a few battles or just one day. 4K over a day is not impressive. 4K over a thousand battles is impressive.
Metro's point though, is that spamming special ammo makes a huge difference to wn8.
Map awareness was special! Definitely above average.

He sets Auto aim on the 705 but then unlocks it and shoots the 430U, what is your point?
@@__jayf Actually no. The Type 5 has less gun depression over some points of the hull. So when you traverse the hull and aim at -10 at a target, it might jump to -9 at some points. In this case the hull hatch that is more or less over the gun based on the position he zoomed in at.

Isn't it amazing when all of your shots nearly hit the center reticle on your screen? The type 5 heavy with the vstab, vents, and improved aiming class 1, as well as brothers in arms and food is only get .33 dispersion at 100m. Tell me how the heck he is able to hit the pinpoint spot every time.

Its because of these replays and experts that common Tate on it that i have become a warrior on the battlefield

play the video at 0.5 speed and you will see he was correcting his aim the whole time .. its just he got hit at the exact time and it made the screen flash so you barely could see the mouse pointer

He accidentally clicked right click and auto aim i guess
@@vincenttschop1046 The game auto-aim goes center of mass. The video shows something else.
He was holding right click, then he let go of right click, so his gun snapped to where his camera was aimung which was at his front drive wheel. He turned his tracks to left at the same time which is why it looks so fast. Then, as soon as his reticle got to his tracks he right-clicked on him which put autoaim on his center of mass. The right clicking was not unintentional. He uses turret lock all the time because he can bait tanks into peaking or overexposing by not looking directly at them or to angle his turret at opponents while looking around with his camera.
That video description is a 5-star meal for the algorithm

He didn't load he vs fv4005, so it wasn't even perfect by his standards
ahhhh good thinking, load HE when there is still a scout ahead that u need AP for, also the FV is kinda covered by destructable objects, HE might have been absorbed, on top of that, HE has higher risk to hit the gun or get absorbed by tracks, FV only had like 150 more hp than AP standart roll, AP was the better choice!

He did really good, always angling and figuring which enemy about to shoot him to turn his armor strongest towards them. While its lower skill cap, it definitely still takes skill to play, with the AP gun, aiming for weakspots is a must. I would say a 430U firing HEAT with 340 pen is a lower skill cap tank to play.

and also not a single one enmy hit him with gold ammo (fv doesnt really count since it lowers its pen compared to standard).
usually when i play a medicre armored t8 tank t10s spam me with gold, and he gets the opposite in this battle...

@@mrnamenlos5000 being shot by gold from FV is like being shot from normal HE when there is no chance to be penned, and pretty much nobody else shot gold for higher pen.
And he was shooting only gold. thats why he lost 150k credits in this game. U can put your gold ammo in key number 1 and seem like shooting normal ap...

otherwise swithcing the ammo placement is very usefel in tanks with derp guns where u want HE first (like hetzer, kv2, oi-oni-oho).
12k blocked with type5 havey lmao. I block 12k dmg in 12 battles (if I get lucky). Nothing more need to be said.
I am just wondering, since a lot of the other streamers have accounts with 50k battles played+, are the 20k battles Stanlox have all his battles, or did he do a reroll at some point?

its all crew and proper eq i was 1100 wn8 player free to play, bought few prems, got better crews/equipment bought gold ammo and now 2000 wn8 sadly its as easy as that if you have average iq

Actually it's just that he posted the one game that he got this great matchup against people who don't fire gold ammunition. Everyone tends to think that someone's lucky when they post a replay of dominating a game, when in fact, it's just that they posted the one game that was amazing out of the 200 that they played. But it is true that this doesn't really show skill because he was facing tier 9s and no one was firing gold at him.

I had a guy try to argue that win rate meant nothing...but average damage was a good indicator of skill( not per tank but all dmg)

They are if you're taking only one or two statistics and ignore the rest. The more statistics you take into account, the more representative they are
This just confirms what I already knew, tank doesn't matter, the best players will make anything work.
Talking about the skill cap on type 5 heavy, is relative to playing lower skill requirement champions in League of Legends. If the skill cap of your tank is lower, it allows for you to focus your skill on game more. You're not being taxed by having to play your tank extremely well. You can focus more on the map than you would in a chieftan or e5 because your know your armor will hold up, you're not angling. Low skill cap tanks like type 5, is7 etc allow your game knowledge talents to shine because you're not focusing on your tank.

Well anyone can be good if the RNG decides that you can bounce 5 times the hit points of your vehicle, gee even I could be a star if the RNG decided I get 13500 hit points.
Yes, he did something special that most players don't: From the start to end, consistent awareness, angling, well aimed shots, and spending his HP pool perfectly.
All of this is basic stuff, sure, but doing all of it, perfectly, from start to end in every single game you play, that is the difference between this vs what most players do.
All of the good players typically have one thing in common: They are not magicians. Nor are they in any way cheaters. They just do the basics perfectly and consistently. And that's not basic at all
If his insane win rate was produced by platooning, it would still be impressive as hell and way beyond what most players will ever come close to. But more importantly: It would mean that the wn8 is even more insane. It is way harder to score 5900 in a godlike platoon than when solo.

Im glad im not the only one who plays e50 alot.. the e50 is just a super strong tier 9 meduim especially after the buffs. Its my only tier 9 (besides tortoise)where ive had multiple 7 almost 8k dmg games

I'm just saying that sweating this hard while abusing a game mechanic that most f2p players literally can't afford is a nasty way to play this game just to make sure to squeeze every single bit of wn8 out of every battle. Almost 6000wn8 using only gold rounds? You may be a good player but you sure aren't a good person with any morals. Gold ammo should be used when needed, based on the situation. The game allows you to load full gold if you have the money for it and just make every tank instantly good, sure, but that doesn't mean you should do it. We should all stand up to this bs that are gold rounds in wot and only use them when actually necessary. It would make the game better for everyone.
LOL it has 290 pen with premium ammo, lower than most TDs have as standard and only like 20mm higher than an E50M has as standard, its one of the worst tier 10 premium rounds in the game ffs. Who honestly cares if he shoots tier 8s with it, they would get penned anyway, I bet you are one of those people who complain about premium ammo in paper tanks.
Also 'pay to win' LMAO, its bought with credits FFS, people buy tier 10 tanks for 6.2 million with another 1.8 million in equipment, do you know how many games using premium ammo that could fund? Hundreds and hundreds, yet people are fine about buying tanks, equipment, consumables to improve their tanks, but buying premium ammo OMG PAY TO WIN, the argument makes no fucking sense and never has. Honestly premium ammo is the biggest over blown 'problem' in the game and the amount of OP armoured tanks shows its needed to balance it at the moment.

@@Duka101 no sry but some things here are completly off the scale, i would call replay bugs, mind 1:47 . circle locks a tank behind a house then instantly locks middle of vk lower plate. THAT is not a replay bug.
maybe you guys should play the video at 0.5 speed and actually see that he corrected his aim the whole time , him getting hit at the same time made the screen flash and you loose the aimpointer because of that . he even corrected the aim after he was already aiming at capola
Not aimbot..he would been banned long a go..he is pretty known player in Russia, and take a part in alot of different challenges with other streamer..so if he would cheat, others would be reported him already..and if you look correctly, he ajust his aim all the time..it is just the way to play to be always ready to shot..
@@alexeiboris he probably is a good player overall and doesn't need/show that he is cheating when he knows he is recorded or else. Plus those things are hard to spot until you see the players POV, cause the gun movement is delayed.

This player might be using some kind of autoaim feature. Exacly 7:20 in the video when he autoaim at the S-51, he is not pointig the rectile at the enemy but rather above, still it autoaim on the target. At 3:11 the rectile is jumping

I remember playing the O-I in this map and I got smoked. Hard to fathom how anybody could hide their weak spots in tank thats as big as my house
22k battles (pretty sure that it's just a reroller, so all the previous battles are not even counting) are definitely not enough to be defined the best wot player. I might be wrong, but from my perspective, someone like Skill4ltu, who has over 100k battles and has 3 marked almost everything, is the best random battles player. While for clan wars is a completely different approach, based on team and strategy.
This has has 5k+ dpg in his tier 10s. He is by far the best player in WOT. Skill is good for 3 marking and such but damage wise his damage isn't that high. This guy can probably 100% every tank in the game without trying
@@R-Flex he is a clear wn8 grinder, which is a shame. Having good wn8 doesn't mean to be a pro. 3 marking is much harder. Not all tanks can deal dmg, so you need to know how to spot and get assistance.
Besides that, a reroller isn't worth of my consideration.
