Honestly, having experienced that ratio on a college campus, he probably wanted to die.
He recently became a father, so I guess he knows one or two things about that.
Suddenly remember all the times Circon said "Why play arty on the test server... What are you testing?" Well... this it turns out.
Artilery when getting played by other player: Sniper Accurate
Me when i played it: Literally missing every shoot without any direc hits...
Arty when someone is 400m's away: nail them in the engine deck
Arty when someone is literally right next to them: bullet goes into the fucking 7th dimension

Years ago I grinded T92, Gun Carriage, and Soviet and French spg lines to at least tier 8. I don't play SPG anymore but every time I die by one I don't rage anymore, just quietly return to the garage crying knowing I full well deserve the punishment for all those winning matches I spent spamming HE at unsuspecting heavies. 😭 😂

I stopped playing ling ago because my favorite tank to use was arty....... until they nerfed the damage.......... and then accuracy....... then splash damage....... while I understand it really was too much

Tho it has somewhat of a flat shell arc but no matter the thing can go 90 km/h so it doesnt matter

Welcome in the 260 club! y did my arty mission with SU-14-2 , T92 and OBJ 261 . and yes i finish frequently white no ammo left . have a good 2021.
Ha Dez, the Type 5 & E 100 were testing out the new snorkel equipment unit. They went to deep however & didn't keep the end above the water. Snorkels give you deeper water crossing not submarine mode.
I have almost unlocked the gun carrier & I have researched the T92 so Dez this was helpful in choosing which to buy first.

I have the M41 HMC and M44. M41 HMC has pretty decent reload for a Tier V SPG and damage is nice. M44 has beautiful gun angles and slightly better durability compared to the HMC.

As a supporter main (so WoT told me) i would go for the damage T92 - the reload Objekt 261- the balance of both Conquerer GC - for the stuns BC 155 58 and for the lols GW E100. Favorite Arty is still Tier 8 britsh one :) step by step closer to 2nd moe
I have only one of those - French one. Love the mobility on that brunch. In grand battle "155 58" can relocate from one flank to another, if needed. Besides, since reload takes quite a while, it's the petfect time to move somewhere else. Mobility also allows "155 58" to exploit any breaches in opponents lines, follow fellow team's tanks and then start lobong shells on reds, who supposedly are in covered positions, from previously safe direction, even from their own base.
600 dmg a lot? I remember the pre arty dmg nerf days, one shotting a full health heavy tank in tier 8/9 arty.
YES was the t92 but drawback was it was long as reload and really inaccurate ...... but getting hit by one was like haveing another tank dropped on you
Back in 2012 splash damage from the obj 261 could hit a maus for 1100, a direct hit could deal 2000 damage. It's AP rounds had like 370 mm of pen

1. On fjords when spawning from that side in arty it's best to go up the hill to get an angle on the heavy fight coming around the corner in the west to start the game. That way you have the most effect on the main fight and are not just maxing damage. Plus, they tend to sit pretty still over there providing bunched up damage. 2. On dry river in arty from that side it is best to be already in the corner to get an angle so you don't hot the hill like you did. With the angle you aren't firing over that rock. Also, up on that hill you have a get chance of being spotted. I could go on, but as someone who plays arty the most(it was my fulltime job for 30 years) I can tell you that positioning and choosing what part of the battle to influence with damage is what increasing your win % as arty.

@@shuenshuen I was an Field Artillery Officer in the US Army from 1985-2020. Any recruiting station can help, but if you want to become an officer simply go to a college with an ROTC unit(which is where I was commissioned).

G.W. E 100 puts the shots right in where you want them 9 times out of 10. couple that with good damage/splash radius, and makes it the best bang for the buck imo.
Mobility and gun traverse doesn't leave much to be desired, but not a bad trade off for the accuracy you get.

Tier ten British arta is best arta because of the big shell, big splash and stun area and big scan area so that the aim stays the same.

I cant stand artillery and have several negative thoughts about it. So there seems to be about 3 types of players. Pro arty, fuck arty, and 50/50 may be necessary.. So I think they should open two options. Artillery enabled and no artillery. Let the players decide. If it is necessary and makes games smoother (as is a common artillery thinking) then after people play no artillery games then wont they go back to the artillery enabled games? Give us the options. Or youll be against that since you know people don't want to play with artillery? Let the players choose how the game goes.. its not exactly a small amount of players that despise artillery.. its just plain not fun.
@@sluggy1 well probably that would solve it. Honestly a fully no arty game feels stagnant to me. People would go for arty games after enough arty less games.

For missions, the M53/55seems pretty good at them
Being a Light player I in-game platoon with arty quite often but it is a love/hate relationship as arty kills me even more then TDs........lol
Arty can be good, it just take some, to look back at map and see if Arty can help you or you push so enemy not come free to shot from your arty, then back a bit, you often get the kill any way. And a medium tank or two should optimal protect the arty as the high value acess it can be have Arty support. I hope some day it be more apretiatet play arty, it is not that easy a class to master 😀
good players appreciate clickers when they do their job. Bad players cry no matter what.

As an arty player, Obj 261 and Batchat 155 58 are the best imhop. I have won a significant number of matches in those two simply because of their mobility and have used the Bat 155 58 to scout helping win end games many times.
Dez gets it - dont sit in the same positions every match and bewail bad results, move with the fight.

Conqueror GC is simply the old 'Bert' (FV304) x2. At maximum distance (1000m) you can shoot tanks that are hugging a house, and the best thing is the angle is the steepest then, so that is also when all the pens for full damage happen. It's the dirtiest of them all if you ask me.
Also you are calculating the shell travel time wrong, the shell doesn't go in a straight line, it goes up and down as well, so it takes longer than 3s at that distance.
US, snail slow but hits hard, take forever to reload
German, hits hard a bit quicker loading and moving.
Soviet, fast mover, quicker load, med damage
British. middle of the line for most but shorter range.
French, fast, 3 shot mag, med damage, long load time
i got Raider with Maus on Bergpass years ago
I don't always play arty, but when I do I use a mod that shows shell flight time. Makes leading much easier.

The obj. arty has very good ballistics that means that you cannot shot anyone behind even small hills

Hi Dez, I woke up, and saw this video. What's a good arty line for beginners? And what's a good arty line for doing the personal missions?
Try American, most of arties in tree are good(except tier VII m12), imo m53/55 is best in game overall and to do missions

I am going down the German line due to the burst radius of their shells. I am trying to do the French line but at tier v I feel like I am launching peas at the other team.
Arty is the relative that makes you draw your curtains, shut off your lights and don’t answer the door when they just show up unannounced. You get special satisfaction like no other tank- kill doing in arty. I’ve played arty. I felt dirty. Like I was sneaking dad’s beer or looting mom’s change purse. It’s just so ....lame unless you have a reason to play them (like some physical or neurological issues) they’re for the players that like being “dirty”.

I’m doing 279 e missions for alliance with the FV3805 and for the Union arta missions I will do them with 212A, simply because I have no other arty of high enough tier in my garage, I don’t fancy that class tbf 😂😂😂

I was lucky and I've got Dez Commander during recent livestream. To which tank should I assign Dez? ISU? Jagdpanzer E100? Ob.268v4? UDES 03? Strv S1? I don't know. What kind of tanks Dez likes the most?
Dez how about swedish mediums..i do more damage in udes 14 5 than obj 430..
Probably the object 268 because it has the shortest reload and is very quick for an arty

Take the Object 261 in to a city map and see how it goes and than Conqueror Gun Carriage on the same map. So they are good in differnent things.

in the part with the t92hmc your speed regulator made you go backwards and you lost precision
GW-E100 ist a jack-of-all trades compared to the others.
