  • How to wire aftermarket amazon motorcycle gauges.
This video is part one of my Amazon tachometer and odometer install. Aftermarket RPM and speedo gauges can be a good thing, but is all the effort worth it?
This video shows all of the prep work that had to go into installing the new Amazon gauges. Lot's of cutting wires, soldering and getting things figured out for installation on my 1974 CB750K.
In part two I'll show how I mounted the gauges on the bike as well as how I tapped into the factory wiring harness.
UPDATED: This Amazon link shows a similar wiring diagram to what I used. You will need to scroll through the photos. If the link dies post a comment letting everyone know - www.amazon.ca/dp/B01E3SMVTM/r...

Love this channel and really liked this video. Made it very clear and easy to install. Liked it so much, I took the recommendation and ordered the same gauges. However, my experience was not as good with these when installed on my CB. First off, I didn't consider the fact that you are in Canada and didn't pay attention to the fact the speedo was in Km's. Oops, my bad. Anyway the mounted nice and look awesome, but... nothing about them works right. The Tach is slow to respond and not accurate at all. the ODO numbers vibrate and look like they will fall off. As well as the knob. The neutral light is on when in gear and not when in neutral and the high beam light is so bright it is blinding at night. Other than that, they are awesome! lol. no blame on the video creator, like I said, love the videos. I got exactly what I should have expected from $30 gauges from China. If nothing else it was a fun learning experience. Now I will know exactly how to install real gauges when I buy them from a more reputable supplier. Thanks Mike! keep up the great videos!
